Time Magazine is out this week with a photoshopped cover of President Ronald Reagan with his arm around President Barack Obama. This manipulated image is as outrageous as it is factually dishonest.

Both men may share the same title, but the way they view America and the world is quite different. The differences are even starker when you hear Reagan and Obama speaking about America.

Just over 2 years ago, Time Magazine’s cover was portraying Obama as the next FDR. Trying to link him to Reagan now is both desperate and pathetic. The liberal Obama media will stop at nothing to try to prop up this sagging presidency.

    I was young, but I still don’t recall him ever sucking up to left-wing idealogues, as this waste of ink implies. TobyToons has rendered the relationship much more accurately, especially with Ganelon’s caption applied.

    This is so absurd, evincing such naked grasping desperation on the part of the Left, that it cannot help but be a good sign.

    Put it this way: if the idea had been used satirically this time last week as an example of just how desperate the Left has become to prop up their failed President/ fallen Messiah, it would have been considered over-the-top. Yet here we are.

    Even now, I’m wondering if it might not be a hoax.

      I can imagine him coming up with something amazing witty and gracious to say about it, at the same time putting them in their place.

      My feeble attempt would be (off-the-cuff) …

      “I’m honored that the Left feels they need me to prop up the man they elected president.”

    Wow. In his day Reagan was the pet target of vandalistic liberal scribes. Now he is a man to be emulated. OK. So, Mr. Obama, emulate him. We’re waiting.

    one. Were Reagan alive today and he heard the claim, perhaps his response would be to would re-use his famous quote:

    “the trouble with our liberal friends is not that they are ignorant, but that they know so much that isn’t so.”

    Actually, President Reagan was far from perfect, but President Obama might just be-perfectly wrong, that is.
