Testicular Safety Administration

TSA

Let me get this straight, in 2006 the left went ballistic over the revelation that the Bush Administration was using computers to track phone numbers (of calls made to and from suspected terrorists).  It was the end of the America as we knew it, and the Bush Administration was destroying the Fourth Amendment.

There were comments like these from Democrat politicians: “Are you telling me tens of millions of Americans are involved with al-Qaeda?” and “These are tens of millions of Americans who are not suspected of anything.”

But now, seeing that Americans (and their kids) must subject themselves to groping and/or fondling in order to board a plane, the left is eerily silent on the Obama Administration’s apathy towards the Fourth Amendment and everyone’s ‘right’ to privacy.  Nah, there’s no invasion of privacy here, move along move along. If Bush had implemented similar TSA procedures, the left would’ve been screaming from the rooftops about government fascism and Bushitler.

How much is the left willing to let the current administration get away with before speaking out against it?  How are they going to spin this one?  Let me guess… “The TSA is simply implementing the first steps of Obamacare.  Now you don’t need to get a physical if you’ve been through a TSA checkpoint!  They are just trying to kill two birds with one stone.  See how efficient they are!”

They are just determined to get in our collective pants, aren’t they?

    I DRIVE.

I DESPISE what the entire air travel industry has become: an arm of the Gestapo.

    The terrorists have, indeed, won.

They’re also “T*ts Safe Again.” Remember that girl with the, ah, intimate jewelry that the TSA made remove with pliers?

It’s funny what finally sends ordinary people over the top. Maybe this’ll do the trick and we’ll finally see the TSA abolished.

it will be interesting when someone cross-checks the TSA employees with the sex offenders registry…

I would hope they get screened for that before getting hired in the first place, but this IS the government we are talking about here, so you are probably right, we should ask to see their screenings.

These over-the-top “pat-down” searches seem designed to neutralize objections to going through the scanners, implying (or at least I’m inferring) that, if the searches are objectionable enough, most people will just opt to shut up and step into the “Let’s see your goodies” machines.

Which, of course, raises the question: Who’s making money providing those machines to the TSA? And, which political hacks are they paying off for that business opportunity?

There was a story about that from last year.

It amazes me (normally, liberal hypocrisy wouldn’t; but this is beyond the pale, even for them) that Liberals, in general and specifically the ones who challenge me when I bring this up as an issue, twist themselves into pretzels attempting to rationalize the TSA’s policies and behavior as acceptable.

I wonder why the “If you don’t like it, don’t fly!” crowd wasn’t similarly admonishing their liberal brethren, “If you don’t like it, don’t call (terrorists in terrorist countries)”.

The logical fallacies simply astound. On one hand, liberals have a problem with wire-tapping phone calls to or from known terrorists in foreign countries (which by definition was a foreign, and not a domestic phone call), but on the other hand, have no problem with government employees taking naked pictures and/or fondling the private parts of innocent civilians.

Monitoring phone calls to/from known terrorists involved actual, known criminals. Fondling the nether bits of grandfathers and pre-school girls has not and will never prevent a terrorist attack.

Either liberals are complete idiots, or else they are simply eschewing logic for the sake of a) defending Obama, or b) disagreeing with conservatives.

    anti-conservatives
If you like it: it is racist, hate, or murder
If you hate it: it is good and wholesome

    Simple for simple minds

Will the 111 groups that got exemptions from Obama-Care also get special pass cards that allow them bypass the Scope and Grope?

Seems like it is an obvious extension to me

None of the Statists get it, and here is a clip from the USA Today article that takes many Liberty minded conservatives to the boiling point:

Napolitano added that “if people want to travel by some other means,” they have that right.

Isn’t that precious! Janet thinks we have ‘Rights’!

So, if you disagree with TSA/Obama regime tactics, you can get on the mule of your choice and head out to your destination of choice. The really disgusted nakedness here belongs to those assaulting our RIGHTS. A citizen choosing to travel and how to travel is UNLIMITED, and NOT part of the governments LIMITED rights (to impede or manage).

If we, as citizens do not shout down this outrageous infringement on our liberties, then there is literally NOTHING that the Statists can’t find a justification for to ‘touch our junk’. And I’m talking about far more than this strip search fiasco. For that matter, what stops the Statists from REGULATING our traveling for Thanksgiving…. wasting gasoline, carbon pollution, stressing transportation resources, etc.

I’m reminded by the famous words of Rham Emanuel, ‘Don’t let a good crisis go to waste.’ We THE PEOPLE need to keep up the heat on this and push back not just this issue (TSA), but the general premise that “THE STATE CAN DO ANYTHING!” This is an attitude that needs to be applied ‘liberally’ to everything the government is doing (i.e., spending on) now.
