    Watching the standing ovations that Obama got, which looked like the entire House was cheering him on, was infuriating. Once again, the GOP was played like a fiddle by the Dems.

    I honestly take issue with Obama being depicted as Linus.

    Linus was wise beyond his years. He was intelligent and a boy of real faith. Obama would be more like Frieda, more proud of himself than anything else.

      But on this one (the date night at the SOTU ) he was made to look wise by pulling that one over on the R’s eyes,

      I had forgotten about Linus being wise. I need to go back and watch the peanut cartoons again.

        Frieda, if not often, carried a mirror everywhere, Obama could have been looking himself at the prompter checking out his ears or something.

        Still, I’ll pardon this use of Linus for now. He’s my favorite Peanuts character and I don’t want him being thought of any way like Obama. As long as we are clear on this point, then I am good.
