I saw today one of your “spokesman”, an barely post pubescent youth, allegedly commenting on the Nobel Prize given President Obama. That’s PRESIDENT OBAMA. I know the phrase upsets you but then, again, you are all a pack of fascistic knuckledraggers who are opposed to the liberal invention of “fire”, “gravity” and “democracy”. Do us all a favor. Go home and hang yourselves.

F**k you, you racist piece of s**t! Was it because of affirmative action when Martin Luther King Jr. won the Nobel Prize? What about Nelson Mandela? While I don’t necessarily agree with Obama winning the Peace Prize this early in his Presidency either, to invoke affirmative action is just low. I’m telling you this as a white, United States Marine from Texas, so you can’t dismiss me as some left wing idiot. I read what you wrote and got pissed off enough to write you back. So when a white Marine from the south calls you out for being a f**king bigoted a**hole then perhaps you need to reevaluate yourself.

Bigot – noun: a person who is utterly intolerant of any differing creed, belief, or opinion.

These people crack me up.

I mean, with erudite letter-writers like that making such persuasive cases, how can I but change my outlook and cheer the bestowing of the Peace Prize upon someone who didn’t earn it in any way whatsoever?

  • DONTTREADONME

especially since no Marine would send emails like that to anyone especially a civilian.

  • GT350

Hmm… turns out I live near Mr. Eric Lowin. A few towns over.
Maybe I’ll stop by his house on my way home and leave a Nobel Prize on his doorstep.

  • Ben White

Please don’t cheapen and degrade the accomplishments of Nelson Mandela and Martin Luther King by comparing them to Barack Obama.

    this will get fun again….

Remember folks: Don’t feed the Trolls (Hinz and King Rules ;-) lol

Just kidding, of course, this will be fun

  • Remington_Steele

Affirmative Action is NOT out to stop discrimination of race in education, the workplace and other areas. We already have laws for that. Affirmative Action is for handicapping competition by making a favored group have to compete less for a sought after resource.

What these folks don’t get is that Obama is a favored person by the Nobel Committee, and he didn’t have to compete for this prize like everyone else and the complainers know this was unfair, but they just don’t get that it is just as unfair as Affirmative Action is.

  • bs

you know you’re doing the right thing.

    Well done.

    @$%#$^%#@$ you @#@%^$^# piece of #%&&(^$#@ and furthermore $&^)&%!# my @$%^%&$$ you @$@%^&..

Now, I guess we have finally learned how to communicate effectively with a #%^%^&#% liberal or a #$%&^%^^ progressive.

  • DontBanMeBro

And I’d beware of “phony soldiers” comments. The military is a diverse institution in both politics and manners.

The problem with his line of criticism is that he’s too focused on race. Affirmative action is about race, but that’s only half the story. It’s also about rewarding people who haven’t really earned a reward. His other two exemplars earned that Peace Prize: MLK, Nelson Mandela. He’s hot-headed, but fundamentally, he’s not disagreeing with the premise that Obama isn’t really deserving of this. Smoke, no fire.

  • Crowe

…and I say you’re exactly right that Obama got is because of affirmative action. I am simply appalled at the lack of decorum shown by our Marines from the south and would like to apologize on his behalf and on behalf of all those who supported Barack Hussein Obama (mm mm mm, Love that chicken from Popeye’s!) but who now see the error of our ways. Keep up the good work, chaps.

*see, we can all play the “lie about who I am so they can’t tell me I’m stupid” game. Isn’t it fun!?

  • GT350

Wow. Both Mandela and MLK Jr. were beaten and abused for taking a stand. They were jailed, beaten, humiliated, and in MLK’s case, killed. Both probably had to confront doubt and despair. Yet they persevered, and the world is better for it.

And Mr. Obama? I think it’s fair to say the comparison doesn’t do Mr. Obama any favors.

  • Thomas_Hauber

    Eric,

I think you are making a mistake by showing these emails on the website. You are only encouraging them to send more of their hate.

Haven’t you ever heard the saying, “don’t feed the trolls”?

  • Jack_Savage

…he claimed gravity as a liberal invention. We all know they invented the internet, and decency (just read the next e-mail to see), and several new religions recentlyl, but I really think gravity is going a little too far.

Of course since they don’t believe there is a God, I guess they thought they had as good a shot at it as anyone.

  • Vladimir

    …than an barely literate writer.

  • DONTTREADONME

maybe lance corporal smuckandfuss is hot headed but I don’t think his Sgt would be appreciative of seeing an email like that. Phony soldier, he’s acting like one. BTW, please next time, don’t talk to me like I have no idea what I am talking about. My father and working in Quantico for 4 years has given me absolutely no idea what I am talking about, I guess.

It is you Sean Stultzman who appears to be a bigot. Erick never mentioned race or creed. Nowhere on the front page do you see anyone mentioning race. It is you who thinks that affirmative action and being black are synonymous, as your email clearly implies.

Your’s is the deep seated bigotry, so foul, so utterly inhuman, that you dare not even confront it Some have called it the soft bigotry of lowered expectations, I don’t really think that lofty phrase really does this justice.

You automatically frame all thoughts within a racial context, just waiting to lay judgement on those you feel you are superior to. You are the prototypical, patient zero, white guilt racist.

In your heart, believing as you do that the Black man is subordinate and inherently incapable of achievement, you embrace Affirmative Action in the most base of ways. Race.

  • Jack_Savage

I mean, “post-pubescent” is a little old for him, but still in the under-eighteen store where he shops….

  • mom2oneson
  • DontBanMeBro

I’m just saying this doesn’t fit the trolling mold where someone will make something up about himself to inflate his claims. The guy signed his own name. Maybe it’s a fake name, maybe it’s not him, but why go to all the trouble if you’re sending private correspondence? He had no idea Erick would be making this email public.

Whatever. Marine or not, it was a dumb thing to write.

  • Cheryl

Isn’t PH the Berkeley burbs now?

Oh dear … obscenity-laced flaming email followed by …. “Bigot – noun: a person who is utterly intolerant of any differing creed, belief, or opinion.”

Dang, that one just busted my irony meter. The needle went off the scale.

  • http://travismonitor.blogspot.com Freedoms Truth

    sorry, speckcheck police.

Guaranteed. Advertising one’s branch of service with this kind of crap is viewed dimly in any branch of service and even dimmer in one that likes to fancy itself as elite.

Pvt Stutzman is about to meet “temporary muscle failure.”

  • lawguy9801

someone who signs a “J.D.” after his name is either unemployed and desperately looking to boost his own ego, or a completely insufferable tool, or both.

  • The_Rebel

but it also points out that these bozos are too chickenxxxx to state their case here and face the music from us. Not to mention what Moe and Neil would ultimately do to them.

  • izoneguy

And I doubt he signed his real name – Ya Da, Ya Da, Ya Da

It is probably Michael Moore that sent that to Erick…..

BTW – Michael Moore wrote into HuffPo re: the NOBEL PRIZE…..

  • mschmitt

    Totally unhinged way to respond.

Then again, I know I already had my poorly written, profanity laced, flame emails all prepped and ready to go (you know, just in case they awarded it to W. and somebody over at daily-kooks said it was “to balance out all of the smart people who have won before”)…

  • Leopard1996

Of self righteous white boys and girls trying to be the champions of the black race. Mr. Stutzman can go screw.

  • RedBeard
  • JadedByPolitics

he is 1/2 WHITE….he is as much WHITE as he is BLACK but the liberals only see the COLOR OF THE SKIN not the CONTENT of his character….wait who am I kidding he has no character!

  • Leopard1996

That is what I think the JD stands for

  • Leopard1996

That really doesn’t matter. It’s not like I could (and I would never want to). Walk into a KKK meeting and expect them to accept me a s a member. If you look black you are in fact black.

Now I do agree with you that character is important. It personally sickens me that he made every one of his choices in life to make sure that everyone knew he was down with black causes.

In my case, the first group that came to me and told me I had to make a choice of my loyalties, that was the group that got told to go f*&k themselves.

  • http://impudent.blognation.us/blog kyle8

    He impersonated someone from Texas!

But don’t tell that to a certain Marine… lol.

to keep from laughing at that one in the library :)

  • http://impudent.blognation.us/blog kyle8

I think he believes that he is superior to 99.9% of everyone, and that if he can use his race to get a few votes he will, or if he can use something else he will. In some ways he really is a post racial president, because he is ready to throw anyone under the bus, no matter what their race.

In fact, my guess is that he has nothing but contempt for those who voted for him purely because of race. Of course he has contempt for most people.

He is in it for Obama, and maybe for some dream of an anointed world wide Comintern.

  • http://impudent.blognation.us/blog kyle8

Sure, we’re still knuckle-dragging, bigoted neandrathals according to those emails, but at least we’re not old white males anymore :)

  • http://moelane.com/ Moe Lane

Hated it at the time; not so much when they stopped.

  • Leopard1996

When he is stating that when he was in college he gravitated toward the more militant blacks in college, so as not to be perceived as a sellout.

It is this attitude above all else that pisses me off about him. That the first chance he got, he pretty much threw 1/2 of his makeup and threw it under a bus. I faced that decision once in my life, and came close to doing the same thing, but after listening to myself, I heard how stupid it was, and then when pushed, instead of submitting, I pushed back. Felt it was better to be on an island on my own, then have a bunch of “friends and allies” but betray my family.

I have a godson who is half black. His father (white) was my best man, and when he got married, his wife, though african american turned out to be very conservative, While he got more and more left wing.

His son is a great kid, got a full scholarship to LSU and is in Microbiology. But I try to convince him that he should embrace both of his heritages. He can be proud of the white half and the black half.

I am one of a few people, who can enjoy both a Pirogi, Kielbasa, Sauerkraut one day, and enjoy some good soul food the next.

It’s the best of both worlds when it comes to getting your grub on.

  • NRPax

I would like to apologize for people like Stutzman. And if he IS a real Marine, I suggest he quietly hope that the name of his Company First Sergeant never be found out.

  • BD57

Wow, Eric, you graduated from law school.

    whoopedee doodee do ….

You want us to call you “doctor” Lowin???

I know one Marine who is trying to find him, I hope for his sake it is only his 1SG and not my wife who succeeds.

No real Marine behaves like that.

These people are priceless. THEIR guy gets the award, and WE enjoy a day of laughing our asses off at the sheer ludicrosity of it all while THEY get angry.

But even then, impersonating a serviceman is about the lowest thing any man could come up with, even a man-child like Mr. Stutzman. You owe the Corps an apology, jackass.

  • deadreckoning

I know I may be overly optimistic, but you must get some mail from even semi literate libs from time to time. Of course, in my experience, thoughtful and articulate liberals are a rarity indeed. Throw us a bone, we are up to the challenge. Search the mailbag, if you will, and attempt to find something we can really sink our teeth into.

  • DefendUSA

According to Military.com there is a Sean Stutzman listed as an E-1., from Texas…Which means he was probably tossed out on his sorry A**.

Since he claims “former” status…You can file an FOIA form if you want to…and find out what type if discharge he has as it will show up on the DD214.

I do agree that no former service member, unless an IVAW member would talk that kind of crap to anyone, but, this person sounds pretty bitter.

IMO it’s just another glimpse into the mind of liberalism: a heaping helping of self-righteousness, a few cups of arrogance, a tablespoon of stupidity, mixed together well to bathe overnight in a few quarts of Disconnected From Reality.

Seriously. How in love with his own self is he to claim gravity as a liberal invention? LOL. The last I checked, that one was patented by God.

  • ranthony

claw my eyes out with a spork.

    Sorry, spellcheck Internal Affairs. :P

  • ranthony

“Once a Marine, always a Marine?”

I think it’s time to revisit the core values of the Corps, as it were . . . ESPECIALLY this one:

    —————

Honor: Honor guides Marines to exemplify the ultimate in ethical and moral behavior: to never lie cheat or steal, to abide by an uncompromising code of integrity, respect human dignity and respect others. The quality of maturity, dedication, trust and dependability commit Marines to act responsibly; to be accountable for their actions; to fulfill their obligations; and to hold others accountable for their actions.

    —————

Sounds like Schmuckman isn’t all that honorable. I’ll have to throw my lot in with the “I doubt he ever was a Marine to begin with” people.

  • Leopard1996

    That was awesome.
