You know, flipping the channels tonight and seeing on twitter that CNN failed to run live with the Ft. Hood press conference, I think they should put me in the 8pm time slot. Their ratings suck because the network does. All of its major personalities are on the left, except for Lou Dobbs, who is a populist, not a conservative. They need a voice on the right willing to cover the news no one else at the network seems willing or interested in covering.

Consider this an overnight open thread.

    Seems like there is a lot of good cheer over the election, but it also seems distracting.

    Two days to focus. What should people do. I think the pro-life Dems are going to be a big problem. Maybe target about five fence sitting Dems tommorow? Have regional faith based groups reach out to pro-life Dems?

    We’ve worked so hard. I’d hate to see this thing pass by two or three votes and realize we spent days analyzing the election or discussin peripheral issues.

    I spent time today contacting my Rep’s and Senators. They seem to have forgotten the energy of the town hall meetings this summer. A not-so-gentle reminder is necessary. Be respectful, yet forceful. I made sure they knew they were getting no dollars and no votes should they vote for this health care boondoggle. In fact, my friends, family members and myself will actively work to see them removed from office in November. I asked them to scrap it and begin anew. Hopefully if enough of us speak out, combined with the results of Tuesday’s elections, a loud message will get through their thick skulls. We must do all we can to protect the Constitution and our liberty. Remember that the Blue Dogs are the most vulnerable to be swayed. Act Now! God Bless America.

    If they were willing to cover stories from a right or even “balanced” point of view, they could do it without you. They have made the evidently conscious determination NOT to do so, so you would be among the last persons considered.

    They have chosen a path to oblivion, confident in their faith that their sacrifice shall be rewarded When De Revolution Come.

    The history of such revolutions teaches us otherwise, but why get all tangled up with facts?

    Thank goodness President Peter Principal flushed a trillion dollars down that stimulus rat hole. It worked like a charm. He’s so groovy.

    Admit it, you would hate working at CNN. Going into work everyday just to see that murderer Sanchez. Heck they would probably make you split a show with him just to see how long you last.

    presser. Obama already made his statement, of course long after he thanked some idiots for a wonderful conference, and giving a shout out to someone in the audience. This, as we just had a major bloodbath, with 13 killed, and another 30 injured. Hey, it was only the military who the idiot in chief threw under the bus long ago.

    I’m showing my age here, but when I think of HLN I still think of the circa 1980 channel that had voiceovers of UPS reports with scrolling still pictures.
