It is snowing in Boston today. The Massachusetts Teachers Association is, notwithstanding the snow and holiday, doing what it can to get Martha Coakley elected.
They are running phone banks today to help out. There's just one problem. The phones are there and ready to go, but no one showed up to make calls.
Would you want to get out in the snow to make calls for a woman who thinks Curt Schilling is a Yankee? I didn't think so.
By the way, both Charlie Cook and Stuart Rothenberg now list the seat as leaning toward a GOP pick up. Suffolk Polling is showing Scott Brown significantly ahead in three bellwether communities.
The game ain't over and Coakley can still win. But it is looking more and more like this will be a very historic upset.
