Ok, I know we’re not supposed to count our chickens, but please indulge me a bit of cautious optimism.

At 12:18 P.M. Intrade has Brown 66.2, Coakley 35.0.

And the article I just read on Pollster.com just brightened my day immensely.

“But no matter how you slice the data, the only reasonable conclusion is that Scott Brown has moved from well behind to a lead somewhere between 4 and 11 points.”

OK, I’m on every Democratic call list in Massachusetts. My wife donated to the Obama/Coakley campaign and has attended her fundraisers. Since before the primary, we have been bombarded with phone calls: DNC, SEIU, Emily’s list, Obama/Coakley campaign, Conservation League, etc. to the point where we both wanted to just scream.

I did not get one phone call yesterday. Nothing. Not one.

My guess is that the Obama/Coakley campaign has pullled back and is focusing all its efforts in (how can I put this tactfully) neighborhoods that are more likely to be a part of the “new” Obama/Democratic “coalition” and less likely to target “Reagan Democrats” and independents. My Massachusetts town would be an obvious write-off in this kind of strategy.

This story gives me “hope” that if the weather gets bad tomorrow, the Dems won’t show up. I’m sure the Conservatives will walk, run, snowshoe, ice skate, ride a horse, snowmobile or do whatever they need to do to get to the polls.

Maybe, they were on a break or something. Being a union event and all. LMAO

With snow today and likely tomorrow how do you think weather affects turnout? Does low turnout favor Brown at this point?

I mean, its looking like she will get slammed tomorrow but I don’t think she realizes what a real slamming she will get by the left wing media, the White House, etc. on Wednesday. They are going to crucify this woman worse than what they did to Palin. They will pull no punches and forget ALL of the campaign words of just how great she is, how perfect she is for the seat, how much they endorse her and then, come Wednesday, they will blame her for being the wrong candidate.
