Democrat Governors Officially Call Tea Party Activists “Political Terrorists”

It would be really funny if it were not true.

Remember the advertisement from the Republican Governors Association themed “Remember November”? The left went nuts because the ad was so effective.

The RGA followed it up with a new ad ridiculing the over the top rhetoric and distortions from the media.

Well, the Democratic Governors Association has decided to wade into the fray. The DGA is calling the ad a glorification of “political terrorism.”

More than a week after the RGA stirred the pot with an online ad themed around the story of 17th-century British radical Guy Fawkes, the DGA still is weighing into the debate.

“In light of the dangerous overtones of their radical ‘Remember November’ video, we are calling on Haley Barbour and the Republican Governors Association to put a stop to this ad now,” Nathan Daschle, executive director of the Democratic Governors Association, said in a statement sent to the Huffington Post on Wednesday.

Note first that the HuffPo runs with the “Guy Fawkes” meme that the HuffPo itself created despite a lack of any evidence. Now they and the DGA are calling tea party activists “political terrorists.”

Damn the facts, full lies ahead!

Clearly Nick Ayers and company have hit a nerve. After all, if it were really hurting the GOP, the Democrats would be keeping quiet.

Based on what we know of the left’s application of “raaacist!” and other misnomers, they were already leaning toward “political terrorist.”

They simply found a way to apply it.

They also know we won’t back down — just as we haven’ backed down after being called racist.

The RGA isn’t going to recind their ad, so they’re imagining this one will stick.

Conservatives have been crowned with the “Political Terrorist” label.

    Let the left eat cake.

Seriously, this is the best these clowns can do? No wonder they’re losing so badly.

We could use some. Approval ratings for the President are up, the R lead on Rasmussen’s Generic Congressional ballot is down, and so is the number of voters identifying themselves as R’s. I really can’t believe it.

I guess the economy is shaping up. People are reacting to the AZ bill. This is why R’s get squishy. They are beaten back when they do anything bold. We must find ways to better control the narrative to enable them to find success for doing the right things.

I was also disappointed in our local primaries yesterday. All the candidates I worked for lost.

Memo to RGA: Keep the gloves OFF. No backing down. The Left hates bare-knuckle politics from our side because it’s effective and they want exclusive rights to its use.

    perhaps they are indeed terrified

terrified that a good chunk of the American populace has woken up a bit – concerned that the nation is heading down a bad path

terrified that they may actually have to answer for their horrific legislation and policies

    terrified for their political careers

    . . .

so yes .. I can see how this terrifies them

    I can’t wait!

And, if they’re squealing, it must’ve hit the mark:

“No political committee should fundraise off of terrorism,” said Daschle.

To Daschle and his ilk, the Founding Fathers were terrorists.

To a democrat, the tea parties are surely terrifying.

Alinsky Rules for Radicals at work! Attack, ridicule, label, divide. Dem. Govs better get it that we are wise to these tactics!

If this is the best they can come up with, I say
“Bring It On” and we’ll trounce them in 2010 and 2012.

The Democrats are the only ones who are allowed to rally to a cause, to protest, to try and make change, and have it be genuine.

If anyone else tries it, like say.. the tea partiers, its just misguided domestic/political astroturf terrorism from the Right.

  • NH_GOP

Well look what garbage and disinfo CHANGE.ORG is sending out this week:

“But over the past year, we’ve seen a disturbing undercurrent of racism across the country, most notably among a sizable portion of the Tea Party movement.”

    and…

“Two weeks ago, Arizona passed an anti-immigrant law that permits police to use racial profiling to stop anyone on the street who looks like an undocumented immigrant and to demand proof of legal U.S. residence.”

you’ve heard it all, they continue to lower the bar. Eff ‘em, makes me dig my heels in more. I’m contributing more money. I’m contributing more time. They’re going down.

  • spepper

that also proves that the Democrat governors are just as looney a bunch as their federal counterparts in the Congress and White House– THEY are the true “terrorists”, holding the people of each state they are supposed to represent, hostage, for federal loans, grants, and overall “gimmees” from the federal sow– while in their same breath, raising their states’ taxes to fund their own pork barrel projects– there’s way too much redistibutin’ of revenue from OUR taxes goin’ on out thar!

  • Duke

are in the White House, not the Tea Parties!

  • obladioblada

when you have to explain them to the audience. Precisely how many Americans know who Guy Fawkes is? We all know that elections are in November.

Stupid memes detract from the accusers’ credibility. Let’s hope they keep it up.

  • xiphos

Sorry, that title has been claimed by the White House, right after inauguration day.

I remember reading some comments expressing frustration that these ads are only online, and most likely to be seen only by the choir. Here’s your chance to make a difference.

All part of how the Marxist(anti-messiah agenda, according to Karl Marx, himself) agenda to take over the world for Lucifer, believe it or not, “another will come in his own name, and he you will believe!”

So far, anything resembling domestic terrorism i.e. the pentagon shooting and the suiciide pilot attack in Texas despite the left fervently hoping that Tea Partiers were involved, have been perpetrated by a liberal or Democrat. When looking at political movements the left has extremests that believe in violence to achieve their ends. I’m talking about the enviro-nazies who set fire to personal property, businesses, sabatoge trees so that loggers will be killed or injured when cutting them and the crazies who come out at the G20 summits to protest capitalism. The riot, set fires, hurt anyone that demonstrates against them, and so on. ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, CNN, Huff-Po never call attention to these violent acts. Most recently, the violent acts of protesters in AZ have been ignored or glossed over by MSM. But, these same media continue to portray the non-violent Tea Partiers as violence prone advocates of terrorism who should be considered dangerous. How Orwellian! The supporters of violence in the furtherence of “progressive” ends calling the Tea Partiers violent is the epitome of irony, a very dark irony considering the progressives push to turn inot a socialist nation. They consider any lie justifiable if it will help them achieve their desired political goals.

  • jiminga

while tea partiers carry signs and flags and wear T-shirts. The libs are OK with opressing the middle class but support violence in AZ and other states by “opressed” illegals. The Dems are desperate to find cover for their recent mistakes.

I believe, as the American revolutionaries believed, that the ultimate power in this nation resides with the people, and is protected by the limits written into the U.S. Constitution. I believe in the maximum amount of personal liberty and the minimum amount of government nconsistent with that Constitution. I believe the Bill of Rights guarantees natural rights bestowed by God that no government may take away. I know there is a difference between those rights, liberty under law, and the privileges government bestows on some people at the expense of others. And I believe an extreme example of this type of government is now in power and must be reined in and removed through the Constitutional processes at our disposal. If those beliefs make me a “political terrorist” in the eyes of certain elites and big government sycophants, then I shall wear the label with pride.

resort to any amount of name-calling. Never mind that Ayers is the only widely read and followed recent American political thinker who thinks bombing buildings for progress is A-OK!! No largely influencial conservative since before McCarthyism has advocated violence. Terrorism is only on the lunatic fringe of the Right, while it is the FOUNDATION of modern Leftism.
