Senator Tom Coburn Asks Lloyd Blankfein a Simple Question. Comedy Ensues.

Senator Coburn asked a very simple question to the Chairman of Goldman Sachs, Lloyd Blankfein.

What happened next is comedy gold.

The simple question was, “Have you personally spoken to anyone at Treasury about the regulatory reform effort?”

The response? Makes you wonder what Goldman Sachs is hiding.

Yes, the fact is Goldman and others on Wall Street will actually get rich off financial deform.

or as they like to call it in Obama’s DC obfuscation. What a WEASEL of man and I use man very lightly!

…..would probably become catatonic before the end of this excerpt.

This man in particular, Lloyd Blankfein donated $7,000 to Hillary Clinton in 2008.

We have a Congress intent on passing legislation which does not address a major chunk of the fiscal problem (Fannie/Freddie). This legislation is sure to have little gifts buried in it for their own Wall Street friends (Goldman Sachs). Friends who will then gift those same congresspeople with campaign donations to win again.

And who pays for all this garbage? We the People pay.

    Hello November!!!

I can’t wait to hear about the “roll up your sleeve efforts” that he wasn’t involved in.

Which ones were those? Who was involved with them? Did Blankfein talk to anyone who was involved with them?

school of smooth responses. “I have no recollection” “I did not have sex with that woman”. Or maybe better the old adage “Better to be thought a fool and remain silent than to speak up and remove all doubt”.

Too little too late! The white women of America(Biblical Israel, not Judah) have voted in a foreigner(non-Israelite) as condemned in Deuteronomy 17:15! He is also a Marxist(anti-messiah)! Watch for the two-witnesses of Revelation coming to punish Israel for 3 1/2 years(Jacob’s trouble) for women sinning again! Nothing changes in 6,000 years, does it?

It depends on the definition of “YES”.

that the answer to a closed end question has to be either “yes”, “no” or “I don’t recall”. Since yes or no leads straight to hell, and your guy isn’t sharp enough to remember I don’t recall, you get this tap dance, which is actually quite amusing, given his facial contortions. Great video and way to go Coburn!

Letterman, Leno, Maher, SNL — this one is too good to waste.

Reminds me of the line from Clear & Present Danger: “I have no memory of that, Senator.”

He had that “HEY!-I-thought-you-were-going-to-talk-to-this-guy-&-make-sure-he-would-not-ask-hard-questions-like-this-one” look on his face!

    Or maybe, “I-contributed-a-lot-of-money-to-your-campaign-to-ensure-questions-like-this-wouldn’t-occur!”

Some things are too funny to be made up!

That’s a threadjack of biblical proportions!

    “I wasn’t there…I didn’t see me…..I have nothing on me.”
One is left to wonder, where the heck do these people come from ?
    Common sense is anything but.
