Indiana On My Mind (and Kentucky too)

So Marlin Stutzman did not make it across the finish line and Dan Coats did. Well, we at RedState have always maintained that we are conservatives in the primary and Republican in the General. So we’re all in for Dan Coats.

But along the way there is something more. Activists need to get their boots on the ground and get into the process to help people like Coats, but more importantly to help themselves.

Anyone can be an activists. But very few are effective activists.

If you live anywhere near Indiana, you owe it to yourself to go to the last of the Post Party Summits in Indianapolis this coming weekend.

Steven Crowder is going to be there. It’s worth going if only to meet Steven.

If you live in Kentucky, Illinois, Ohio, Indiana, or wherever, do yourself and the cause a favor — get to the Post Party Summit.

    A lot focus on Redstate has been about supporting new challengers for Congressional races. We must not forget about supporting decent incumbents too. Richard Burr and Roy Blunt (de facto incumbent) need our help too.

    Its possible that we could lose MO and NC while gaining Senate seats elsewhere.

    and the lead is gradually widening. The more Missourians see what an Obama lapdog Robin Carnahan is, the less they like her.

    Does anyone have advice for those that have not attended these events?

    I have tried to become a precinct leader (we already have one for mine), but I am stil getting involved on local level. I have gone to local meetings and joined local GOP.

    I did do some calling for local candidates (and for Marlin even though I don’t live in Indiana). I contribute what I can (given recent setbacks).

    Any other ideas? This s really important to me.

    I looked into going to the Jacksonville PPS but the website didn’t have any speakers named for that event so I attended the Leadership Institute Training. I’m originally a Hoosier and would love to meet Crowder. Bill Whittle was in Indi for the Tea Party

    Dan Coats? REALLY? If I want my 2nd amendment rights taken away I would rather it be a demorat liberal whom I am use to despising anyway.
