I Guess Deval Patrick Is Worried About Me

Speaking at a law school forum, Deval Patrick, the Governor of Massachusetts, said, “”on my worst day, when I’m most frustrated about folks who seem to rooting for failure.”

I sure as heck am rooting for Barack Obama’s failure.

Look at this place. Under Obama’s regime the SEIU purple people beaters are showing up on the porches of private citizens to harass them, oil is pouring out of the Gulf of Mexico and Obama’s EPA wants BP to stop using chemicals to fight the slick while Obama golfs, unemployment remains at 10% and Obama’s solution is to throw money at the problem, our nation’s enemies are emboldened by Obama’s lack of fortitude, terrorists are rattling the cages looking for weaknesses, the deficit is going up, small businesses are shutting down, job creators are being bullied in ways Obama would never bully Iran or North Korea, and the list goes on and on and on.

I sure as heck want Barack Obama to fail because otherwise the nation is going to fail.

But to Deval Patrick’s larger point, that people like me are engaging in sedition, the Democrats for eight years said dissent was patriotic. Now they don’t believe that. The Democrats, after eight years of working to undermine George Bush and weaken us, are incapable of separating acts of political rebellion at the ballot box from acts of physical rebellions against the state.

Unlike Louis XIV, Barack Obama is not the state. And it is no one’s goal to physically rebel against either Obama or the government. But it is certainly my goal to beat the mess out of him at the ballot box.

If we’re going to go rounding up people for sedition, let’s start with the left and its eight years of Bush = Hitler comparisons. After all, it is not tea party activists showing up on Bank of America executives’ doorsteps.

    the economy is hitting on all cylinders right? Green shoots everywhere yet …. bad attitude. That’s what worries Coupe Deval,.. bad attitude . Could undermine those animal spirits that drive our economy.

    that is acting more like the old Pravda of the Soviet Union. The MSM is no longer a credible outlet for objectively reporting the reality of what is happening in this country over the past year and a half.

    We don’t need government censorship since we have a willing press doing its dirty work for them, as the virtual blackout of the SEIU purple people beaters clearly shows. They explain other negative events in a manner most favorable to the Obamabots.

    Throughout its life, Pravda’s purpose switched from free, democratic publishing to becoming a voice of the Communist state of Russia. Is the MSM now becoming the voice of the Obama Socialist States of America?

    Seems as if Deval’s been under a rock. Greece and Europe are providing a vivid preview of our future if we continue to follow Barack to the hard place.

    Few can envision the future on their own and take the smart path.
    Some can watch others fail, take note, and switch to the smart path.
    Most learn only from the school of hard knocks.

    Are we Americans smart enough to take the cue from Europe? It couldn’t be any clearer.

    The legislature just rejected a bill to crackdown on illegals. The suspect was wearing a Mexican costume, had blood alcohol .25 and crashed into the legislators vehicle at 60 mph. He laughed when he was told of the serious charges he faced.

    Devel revoked Romney’s order giving state police power to investigate immigration violations.

    Believe it or not, and this from a Libertarian of 52 years, I think the answer to healing the terrible degradation of the U.S. lies with the liberals. Chew on that for a moment.

    Foremost, they are Americans. No one in his right mind can perceive what the ultra liberals (read that Obama and Company) are presently achieving without realizing (consider Europe) that Communism MUST be their ultimate goal. America is in peril. The Americans will realize it. Our very existence relies, not on Republicans, Libertarians, etc., etc., but on our historic Patriots.

    Watch out Hussein, Gaithner, et.al. we’re coming.

    let us make the most of it. Limbaugh defined zero’s failure as the preferred outcome at least a year ago. The events of the intervening time have only made it even more clear this end is not merely to be preferred, but essential to the preservation of our Republic.

    Why is it called “the mainstream media”? It is no more mainstream than Duval or Obama themselves. Its audience has shrunk to liberals and the old and apathetic who still watch the alphabet networks.

    that the press kept a running count of how many days Bush spent “at the ranch”. Now we have Obama golfing, going to NBA games where he conducts interviews while avoiding press conferences, jetting around on various junkets, etc. I haven’t seen the press keeping counts of how many hours he pisses away while the Gulf of Mexico is dying and the government is doing nothing except saying it’s doing everything it can.

    watched Huntley+Brinkley or Cronkite, ABC was a late comer and a minor player in those days. The primetime lineup of the major networks was the watercooler topic at practically every workplace in the Country. Looking back, they weren’t even “mainstream” then if that word is used in the sense of reflecting the lives and views of the masses. They had a very New York and LA point of view and the lifestyles they portrayed and promoted only existed in those places to the extent they existed at all. With the Vietnam Era and Watergate, they turned sharply left and by the ’80s had become major combatants in the culture war as well. They haven’t been mainstream in a very long time except in New York and LA.

    I recently sent this the the Orange County Register – I am not sure the Dems want to bring up “sedition”:

    Are our President, his staff and members of Congress guilty of sedition?

    According to Webster?s New Collegiate Dictionary you will find:

    ?sedition?..Excitement of discontent against the government, or of resistance to lawful authority. ? Syn. Treason mean(s)(sic) a serious offense in defiance of allegiance. Sedition implies conduct leading to commotion or resistance to authority but without overt acts; ?? Treason is defined as overt acts.

    Representative governance of the United States is ?of the people? and ?by the people? who hire our representatives to do the will of the people. The representatives are hired write laws and administer them according to the will of the people who hired them.

    Therefore, if the elected representatives promote ?Excitement of discontent against the government, or of resistance to lawful authority? by creating discontent among the people they work for and openly show their contempt for the United States people and the laws of the United States (sedition ? without over acts). Then they work with leaders of foreign countries to undermine and overthrow the will of the United States electorate (Treason ? overt acts) are they not guilty of Sedition/Treason? Are they not committing ?a serious offense in defiance of allegiance??

    And if it can be shown that they are not doing all in their power to protect the citizens of the United States by not enforcing existing immigration law and sealing our borders from foreign nationals known to want to violently overthrow the government of the United States then are they not also guilty of refusing to enforce those laws? (Treason ? overt acts of omission and dereliction of duty). And again, are they not committing ?a serious offense in defiance of allegiance??

    The polls done by various organizations from both the liberal and conservative perspectives show conclusively and without a doubt the president and over half of the members of congress are guilty on all counts of governing against the will of the people.

    Should they should be arrested and tried for sedition and treason against the United States of America.

    Which law enforcement agency can do that and who can make a serious complaint that would cause the agency to be forced to take action?
