It’s a Rule of Nature: Hot Women Don’t Have Affairs With Ugly Poor Guys

This rule is even more true when the guy allegedly being cheated on is a man in uniform. Hot women do not cheat on men in uniform with ugly, poor dudes.

Last week I was tipped off to the panic in the South Carolina House and Senate Republican Caucuses. The leadership had a private meeting to see what could be done to take out Nikki Haley. She spent her years in the legislature fighting the good old boys, even within her own party.

She demanded transparency and won. They don’t like her.

Well, with Rasmussen now having her significantly in the lead, we see what the good old boys are doing — skipping all the oppo research and going straight to the sleaze.

A South Carolina blogger who was tossed by Mark Sanford and plead guilty to domestic abuse, is claiming Nikki Haley had an affair with him several years ago. Note that he’s making sure everyone knows that it happened before *he* was married. So it is all Nikki Haley’s fault.

There are just a few problems:

  • Nikki Haley is categorically denying it.
  • The people who first started pushing the rumor are in opposing camps and only started after the Palin endorsement.
  • This violates the very basic laws of nature: hot women do not have affairs with ugly guys unless those guys are rich. The self-admitted adulterer is decidedly not rich, but decidedly wants to reinsert himself into the process as a player.

So this guy will take out Nikki Haley, have people absolve him of his domestic abuse by taking out Nikki Haley, and everyone will be happy that the upstart state representative from Lexington was taken out with a lie after years of her fighting for transparency in Columbia to stop the lies her own party has been telling.

*Take home point for the moms in the audience: how likely is it that a hot woman would want to have an “inappropriate physical relationship” with this guy when, according to his timeline, she would have had very small children at the time and more likely than not wanted sleep above all other things?

    For the blogger to lie makes no sense. Being in Columbia and working this field, everyone knows that the blogger is the President of the Haley fan club. There is no way he would do this to hurt her.

    We’ve all been hearing this rumor for about a year now. Far longer than it would carry if it were simply a sinister plot to take down a front runner.

    I would wait to see the full investigative article that is about to be published.

    You got to be kidding. First, let him PROVE IT. If he was part of the Haley ‘fan club’, then he wouldn’t have outed her now. Why would he, unless he had something to gain? It didn’t come when Haley was running behind, only now that she is surging ahead.

    Investigative articles are meaningless. I need proof. If he was having an affair, he should have some proof of it.

    And frankly, even if they did have an affair, Haley is still a superior candidate over the other morons in the race.

    their lives that they could find. So, I’m not much on ruling anything out on its face. That said, this is kind of a new one; women politicians have finally arrived: they’re having to answer affair allegations. She’d sure better be telling the truth. Having had an affair at sometime in the past isn’t really going to kill a politician of any gender anymore, though she might lose some of the church ladies, but having one an lying about it will kill any politician except Democrats from the very Bluest states.

    Will Folks has been a fan of Nikki Haley for as long as I can remember. He does not like any of the candidates running against her. This rumor has been posted on his site by different people for the last year. I have no idea if it is true. I’m curious about Will’s language in the “confession”, he is usually crude when discussing something he has done. I know he plays the political game well…so I will wait and see.
    Assuming Haley did allow inappropriate physical contact (what is that exactly and what kind of proof is there in order for Folks to want to get ahead of the story?) does that mean she should not be Governor?     this guy is a clown who was playing bass guitar in a band before meeting Sanford. You obviously know his fan club included two people: himself and Sanford- sometimes.

    In his time as Sanford’s “spokesman”, before pleading guilty to abuse and resigning, he did nothing but babble incompetently and tick-off just about every person possible. Then he becomes a political consultant? To whom? Fan club-ha. He’s probably also president of the local Narcissus fan club. What’s his next revelation- that he tag teamed Ms. Argentina with Sanford? Don’t be so gullible.

    He has zero credibility and no resolute proof to back up his long running- school boy fantasy quest for attention that will hold up to proper scrutiny. I look forward to the investigation which will reveal nothing substantive.

    Yes it is, but it does carry local news and this is very local. We have to read several sources around here and unfortunately most of them have the same opinion/reporters..so I take it all with a grain of salt. I only included it because it will be read in Columbia. Ms Haley will be on the radio this afternoon wvoc am 3:08 pm.

    Bauer is one of Nikki Haley’s Republican Primary opponents for Governor. He is currently Lieutenant Governor and “offered” not to run for Governor if Sanford were to resign when his affair with Maria Belen Shapur became known.

    We all know that ‘known facts’ and things that ‘everybody knows’ do not apply unless it fits ‘THE Liberal’ or ‘A Liberal’s agenda.

    Also this: Hotties not stepping down the socioeconomic ladder is too commonsensical for Liberals to grasp.

    And, because of the nature of the beast, the seriousness of the charge carries more weight than facts (actual facts) in evidence. So, in their eyes, this is a net win.
