BREAKING: Jim Greer Arrested

CNN is reporting that the former Chairman of the Republican Party of Florida, Jim Greeer, has been arrested.

Greer was Charlie Crist’s hand picked chairman of the Florida GOP and together they collaborated on destroying Marco Rubio. Part of their plan involved leaking out the credit card scandal and targeting it toward Marco Rubio.

Well, it just blew up in their faces.

    ……there will continue to be questions of Governor Crist such as what did you know and when did you know it. As a Florida Republican, I sincerely hope this type of politics is over and the “good old boys” move over for some real conservatism.

    Greer was arrested at his central Florida home Wednesday morning. Calls to the FDLE were not immediately returned. The Seminole County Jail confirmed the arrest.

    Just by carefully searching the records of Charlie Crists donors, flunkies and golfing buddies. The coming oils spill on Florida’s beaches is less viscous than Greasy Charlie.

The Nineteenth Statewide Grand Jury, led by Statewide Prosecutor Bill Shepherd, indicted Mr. Greer on the following charges: one count of organized fraud, one count of money laundering, and four counts of grand theft. ”

    Instead of 6 counts he is charged with 1 count. They also still have the photo of him from the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office posted.

    Is it your contention that he was booked and processed but never arrested?

    Actually, I have no direct knowledge that it’s daylight outside, and I refuse to take anyone else’s word for it. Can’t be too careful.

    The story I read also states that Crist let the Florida GOP pick up the tab for his luxury hotel stay, bar tab, and room movie fees during a GOP meeting for Greer’s reelection as party chairman. They thought they could smear Rubio, but can you say “backfire”? Crist can pretend to be shocked, but this was his hand-picked man and a very close friend. He was working with the Crist campaign against Rubio until he resigned as chairman, so he is still a Crist man. He even said in April he thought Crist should run as an independent, which shows you what kind of Republican (RINO) he was!
