I hope he’s laughing now that he’s burned his email account.

It IS the thought that counts, right?

    Happy Birthday, by the way.

After all, the guy you point out doesn’t even have the good sense to button his collar or put on a jacket for the company photo.

    BTW,
How does a man not incure any injury during the fall, yet wind up in a wheelchair? I was watching the video and he was walking around just fine after the incident. People don?t immediately jump back up after falling down if they need a wheelchair. You will be exposed for using this man. I am sure Mr. Gaffney would have no problem letting his medical file for this incident be released so we know who the real liar is.

He does not have insurance. THAT IS THE FACT. Irony is lost on the ignorant, I guess that is why you do not get it.

My side won; your side lost. Now go howl into the wilderness for the next 7 years. It?s all you are good at.

NOT a bat**** crazy POS wingnut,

Wubben is a real piece of work:

    http://thedanashow.wordpress.com/2009/09/15/open-comments-if-you-dont-support-hcr-youre-not-a-christian/

The majority of Americans want a public option (and 73% of physicians according to a survey of 6000 US physicians and surgeons ? done by JAMA). Once democrats pass meaningful health care reform you know the conservative movement will be dead for a minimum of 2 to 3 generations. That?s why you are against health care as a right. My question to you as a self professed christian person is: Who would Jesus cover? The answer is everyone, and you know it. Either that, or you are not a christian. Or you are christian, but completely oblivious as to what that actually means. Here are the 10 reasons why the tea party movement is a complete failure. Hint: the economy always does better under a Dem president than a Republican president.

  • izoneguy

Figures he slimes around in the cesspool they call Kalifornia.

  • http://andrightlyso.com/ civil_truth

Nice gratuitious anti-Arab racist statement he’s thrown in for good measure. Then again, we all know about projection since so many on the left are walking case studies.

  • Bill S

“the economy always does better under a Dem president than a Republican president.”

Obviously too young to remember Jimmy Carter.

I suspect he’s in love with socialized healthcare because he really, really needs the treatment for his mentally deranged condition.

I’d hate to find out how he rationed. Wubben is a piece of something else.

Have any of you been banned from commenting at politico.com? I think I am banned .for using the word God in a comment.

  • aesthete

it’s a simplistic partisan jab. In the case of many of these Presidents, government was divided (i.e., Republicans controlled Congress under a Dem President, or vice versa). Seeing as how Congress actually makes our laws, it is more logical to contrast the partisan makeup of the Congress in question, and as one would expect, such an analysis is extremely ambiguous. More importantly, economies aren’t machines that you can turn on at the flick of a switch. One should examine policies, their predicted consequences before passage, and their actual outcomes, and in that case, most every long-term government program is lacking or in some cases, does the opposite of what was intended. Wubben’s not deranged, he just exported his thinking to a talking points machine.

    It’s called free speech.

I wonder what he’s been wubbin?

So, Erick can now file a civil rights lawsuit against anyone he feels offended by, is that what the emailer means?

I’ve got a few years on Erick and I’ve never known a world where “minority status” didn’t seem to have more benefits than drawbacks.

  • The_Gadfly

the few times when all three branches were controlled by one party. Within my lifetime that has occurred with Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, and Barack Obama. The first and last will be recorded as the epitome of Epic Fail. Bill Clinton almost made the epic fail, but in 94 he was failing so badly (first real push for socialized health care) Republicans were able to take control of the House for the first time in almost 40 years. Bush was a mixed bag, but not epic fail the way the Dems have been. And I’d argue that given the new dynamics of the Senate, it isn’t entirely accurate to describe anything since they borked Bork as either party controlling Congress until The Big 0.

Too bad our gentle birthday well-wisher didn’t have MY grandmother who said,

“We only attack the things that intimidate us.”

If he had no worries regarding your “permanent minority status”, he would ignore you and would be off doing more productive things like… sobering up and… picking the lint out of his skull cavity.

Oh well… a 35-year shelf life in loving and actively trying to preserve the United States of America is better than that of Obama’s term in trying to fundamentally change it.

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY ERICK!

  • romeg

Well I hope that by the day ends that you will have gotten the invite from El Rushbo.

I still think that Cumulus is missing the boat. You should have your own morning drive-time gig.

  • conservativecrusade

especially since there is no real way of knowing if it is the CEO/President of that company who sent that email. Unless the mgmt did an IP search and were able to tell it came from the company or Craigs known address, it could simply be a guy with the same name, an employee spoofing his bosses name, or just someone with a false/real name that happens to be the same as the other guy.

But if it were to be proven to be him and that the emails and responses were done on company time, enough pressure could be put on the board that he is fired, demoted, or warned to stop it on company time. We did just see what happened to the Geiko guy for similar stuff.

Even most CA companies, that deal with companies outside of the state, do not want their employees shedding negative light on the company. When they do, it hurts them in the only place companies care about, and that is their profit.

Try kissing a girl, just do it once. You might find it better then attacking those who you fear. And it’s way better then making a total fool of yourself here Craig Wubben. And take off that damn skirt Craig Wubben !

Where would these nuts on the left be without crudity? Would they even be able to attempt communication?

Their repartee is so unbelievably brilliant.

    Happy birthday, Dear Leader :)

…when you’re not limited by the constraints of economic scarcity.

Jesus, being God incarnate, is not limited by stark economic reality. Rather, he can simply “make it so”.

Obama and the Dems in Congress can’t do that.

Unless, y’know, he’s one of those guys who thinks that he really is the Obamessiah.

  • billyboy347

Pay no attention to Wubbin. We have a name for him here in Oz. Nicely put it’s richard cranium. It’s tomorrow (your time) Down Under and my birthday (4th) today. So somehow or other we have a birth at the same time. Best wishes and AVAGOODUN. PS that’s cobber not goober as one of my Yankee friends accused me of implying. :)

  • bigalinaz

is free. Boycotting it wouldn’t hurt you unless all advertising dropped off. One guy boycotting redstate is t going to make that happen. And if it did, go get another job.

If you review each instance of miraculous healing, you will find that it was the acted-on-faith of the recipient, or a person close to the recipient, which was rewarded with a healing.

By example, the lepers were told to go show themselves to the priests and in that they acted on that instruction, found that they were cleansed in transit. The woman who had sufficient faith to act to touch his garment was likewise healed. Each healing story is similar.

This is an extremely important concept to understand in that we don’t need Christ on earth to be healed. It is our faith that makes us whole.

Here endeth the lesson for the day.

  • tngal

Heaven knows all the women here are now jealous. Congrats, Erick. You’ve found the only known human to survive with but a single brain cell.

Now what happened to the background announcer guy that USED TO DO the geico commercials? He let slip a little something silly one day and poof, he was gone.

Of course trolls aren’t always honest about who they are.

  • aesthete

To pick on the Republican example, Bush would have been absolutely hated by conservatives, instead of being a subject of mild disappointment as he is now, had he stayed an isolationist and governed as Candidate Bush promised to govern. As it is, he was no friend to small-government types: government, regulation, and other measures of government expansion grew at an exponentially higher rate than under Clinton. I’d lump him in with Clinton as near-epic failure, only to have outside events (9/11 in Bush’s case) force them off of their original path to completely horrible government.

It’s incredibly silly to look at growth patterns based on the partisan makeup of government without looking at the policies which are credited, anyhow; governments are elected for different reasons and under different mandates. Bush II and Reagan, for instance, were elected for radically different reasons, as were Carter and Clinton.

  • stephaniet

Or do you mean crudites? Sometimes we all need some of those… Good for the digestive tract or something, I don’t know. Crudites yes, crudity no.

  • stephaniet

I got none. For some reason, people like to ignore me.

  • conservativecrusade

I must assume you are trying to be funny on your correction of right’s statement.

I missed the humor, which of courser would not be your fault but mine, as crudity used in his sentence is a noun meaning:

1 : the quality or state of being crude
2 : something that is crude

with the plural form being crudities (notice the “I” near the end)

And your corrected version of “crudites” being:

raw vegetables cut into bite-sized strips and served with a dip.

Not sure if you were trying to correct his terminology and failed, or if it was an attempt at humor which would go over my head just as most humor does.

    Just wondering!

  • http://andrightlyso.com/ civil_truth

Anybody here her neck of the woods whom stephaniet could contact?

stephaniet, we need everyone we can get, you included, to take back our country. Don’t check out early.

works wonders. My birthday falls on Mother’s Day even so often and my children still forget if I don’t remind them. I finally got sick and tired of having it be a source of conflict, so I started calling them a day or two in advance and saying, “By the way, ….”

My humor sometimes has a life of its own. As in, “Crudites–Didn’t they try to stop the industrial revolution with the crud on their shoes?”

Don’t worry too much when people don’t reply to your comments. Sometimes it means your comment just had nothing to disagree with.
