Talk Is Cheap

Last night, Barack Obama tried to play Mr. Tough Guy, but talk is cheap.

When George Bush stood on the rubble of the World Trade Center and said, “I can hear you! I can hear you! The rest of the world hears you! And the people — and the people who knocked these buildings down will hear all of us soon!” people knew he meant business.

People knew that George Bush would take action. They believed him.

When Barack Obama said he wants to find out whose rear end to kick, it’s just a convenient way for him to buy more time to tie this all to George Bush.

Barack Obama is a man who cannot function without an enemy — someone to blame for all his and our ills. Without an enemy, or a scapegoat if you will, he will not act.

It has taken Obama this long to get to Mr. Tough Guy because he is not tough and is no leader. He’s just a petulant community organizer trying to blame others instead of actually fixing the problem.

President Obama spends a lot of time talking about kicking people’s asses. Bankers, oil men, health insurers, hedge fund managers, doctors, and so on.

Know what they’ve all got in common?

    They’re Americans.

We’re not interested in having our president kick our ass. The British kicked our ass, and we kicked their ass out.

Right now, Obama appears to be kicking Louisianians’ asses right out of a job with his deepwater drilling ban. At Port Fourchon, the layoffs have already begun, and the word is that Edison Chouest is going to lay off as many as 3,000 employees. Anadarko has pulled up stakes and will move three of its Gulf rigs to West Africa. And this is just the beginning, as the state’s economy starts to resemble the Titanic with its port-side rising up into the air.

In other words, our ass is exposed. Easy for Obama to kick.

Obama’s a**-kicking comment is so obviously contrived; and it?s nothing but a response designed to refute the allegations from Spike Lee and Bill Maher that Obama hasn?t sufficiently ?gone off? on or acted like ?a real black president? would toward BP.

Now if this was made in the context of the War on Terror I’d be all for it. (I wouldn’t believe him, but I’d be all for it.) By the way, what does this say about Obama that he supposedly seeks private sector “ass to kick,” but yet he won’t even refer to our enemy as Islamic radicals?

“We’re gonna move in, party hard, and move out”.

That sums up the Obama presidency. Forgot which movie.

I said from Dec 2008 when Hilldo took SecState, he only plans on one term. He told her and she took the position because then he would endorse her for another historic “first”.

If another raging Socialist is another historic “first”——yawn.

He can spin any yarn; tell any tale; make any assertion.

    Nothing sticks.

And I’d like to take just a moment to thank our sycophant, government supported media for facilitating this travesty.

    That’s all.

We need to convince more people that the conservative way is the better way for the citizens of the country. That it gives the people more power than any other form of government.

We need to convince them that the news media is not an unbiased source for the story.

We need to encourage americans to ask questions and think for themselves. People need to do more critical thinking.

We need to overcome the media/school influence on shaping young minds towards liberalism.

Poll watching is good for the short term, but how do we fix things in the long terms, especially not that OCare has passed and liberalism is becoming entrenched in our society, despite the overwhelming gag reflex being felt across the heartland?

I’m in the trenches for the GOP, but I am still trying to understand the battle plan.

liberals get erotically aroused. “Oh beat those bad boys Mr President, beat them”, Frank Rich & the rest of the Times are already squirming in delight.
Well O has long ago proved that he’s filth, he might as well adopt the gutter language that goes along with the rest of the package.
You may pause to consider how we have come down as a Nation using the Tripe in the WH as a gauge.

…to act tough, which shows how really tough he is. Worse than Jimmy “The Mullah” Carter!!!

  • wilfranc

His statement reminds me of the Jim Carrey movie where he goes in the men’s room and beats himself up, and another man walks in and he says “I’m kicking my own ass.”

    Wouldn’t it be great?

a new FaceBook page up today: “Obama should kick his own a$$”

  • Achance

i’m writing a diary about it when I can gather my thoughts well enough. I went to a writers conference last week; all liberals. I’m probably the only Republican most of them have ever even been in the same room with and certainly the only one most of them had ever talked to in any depth.

Even though I’m used to being around some leftists in the unions and in government, most of that interaction is very structured and you do everything to keep anything personal out of it. This conference involved a lot of time an a lot of inescapable social interaction. Make no mistake, at their core they hate us on the right. Especially, they hate social/religious conservatives and they hate capitalism; making a profit is second only to making a judgement in their list of sins.

like sharks smell blood in the water. Our enemies know the only country Obama wants to project his power on is his own. We are living in very dangerous times because of the Man Child.

    Isn’t it an ass?

  • builder20

No, it’s Captain Kickass (H/T Allah Pundit) to the rescue!

  • builder20

“What the hell are you doing!?”

“I’m kicking my ass. Do you MIND!?”

Awesomeness! Thanks for the laugh wilfranc!

Becky Quick on CNBC slapped down the President foe using bad language when preschoolers could be warching TV with their parents. You are definitely in trouble when she mocks you.
