Send some money to Bill Connor and Nikki Haley

Bill Connor made it to the runoff in South Carolina.

This is the guy who has had his combat record attacked by his opponents. They claimed he did not fight in Afghanistan, even though he did.

Like Nikki Haley, Bill is an outsider and a reformer.

When Nikki Haley makes it to the Governor’s Mansion, she’s going to need someone presiding over the State Senate who is not part of the good old boy network. The only person who fits the bill is Bill Connor.

Give what you can.

Then go give some cash to Nikki Haley for her runoff.

The RINO cartel leader State Senator Hugh Leatherman is the driving force behind Ken Ard. Check that blog out for a video where Ken Ard says he raised taxes and would do it again

What is going on with Tim Scott? Are there any other black GOP primary candidates still standing?

Is Palin’s emphasis on female GOP candidates not “conservative feminism” but a strategic move to change the face of the GOP? To give the GOP and especially the new GOP a more female friendly face? An attempt to lure more of the woman’s vote to the new GOP?
Could this be just another example of people underestimating Palin?

the rumors are flying around that Sarah will be endorsing Bill Connor so the Haley/Connor reform ticket is set.

Not sure when this might happen. Will be a boon for Bill Connor if it does though.

Gowdy is headed into a runoff with TARP supporter Bob Inglis. We need a solid conservative in SC’s 4th District. I’ve been disappointed that RedState hasn’t been more on top of this race, but now is the time. Support Trey Gowdy.

I wrote a diary over two weeks ago about Tim Scott. He is now in a run-off with Paul Thurmond (Strom Thurmond’s son) who is COMPLETELY unqualified for the job. Tim Scott MUST win this race, or it will look extremely bad for SC (especially after “ragheadgate”)–and, for Republicans in general.

Remember, Tim Scott is Nance Pelosi’s WORST nightmare–he could kill the racecard, and he’s great at skewering Obama in his speeches while staying positive (he could be a conservative rockstar). Paul Thurmond, on the other hand, would be the answer to Nancy Pelosi’s prayers, because she could easily paint us all as “RAAAAACISTS!!”.

Here are two different links to my diary about Tim Scott. In both there is a link to his website where you can make a contribution.

PS–I met Tim Scott last night and I can tell you that he is a prince of a guy.

He got 32% of the vote, while Paul Thurmond came in a distant second with 16% of the vote. The other seven candidates then trailed those two. I figured that this would go into a run-off, because it’s impossible for any candidate to get over 50% of the vote, when there are nine candidates running. So now, the run-off is between Tim Scott and Paul Thurmond. Guys, Tim Scott can win this thing! Last night, Bill Krystal called it “an amazing moment” when Tim Scott beat Strom Thurmond’s son and a son of a former SC governor (Carroll Campbell). Let’s make it an ever more “amazing moment” in two weeks. Please give to Tim Scott.

    Thankies. :-)

PS–Just so you all know, Nikki Haley’s best counties are in Tim Scott’s district, so her run-off should immensely help him (or, they should help out each other).

clone him and put the clones around the country.

  • Susannah

Yeah, me too. I’ll make an exception for human cloning this time. :-)

Inglis would essentially have to take *all* of the support 2 of the 3 other candidates to even have a chance to pull this out.

It’s much more likely that all 3 of the other candidates will endorse Gowdy.

Inglis is toast – I think he has almost no path to victory. If he had any sense, he’d bow out now, and save SC taxpayers some money.

  • AB

We’ve got a money bomb set up for Tim at www.votetimscott.com. This is a sprint, and we need some help to pull it out!

Thank you so much for standing up for the Conservatives in SC!

  • Susannah

…..Because it’s the right thing to do. ;-)

Great thought, and in many respects you are seeing great people bubble up already. Clone him? Sure, but I think the surprise you will have is HOW MANY great candidates that are out there already … hundreds of great candidates at Congressional and state rep level that are breaking the mold.

Interesting, different, qualified, articulate PATRIOTIC candidates who have a story to tell, are running not to be someone, but are running to DO something – stand up defend our freedom and conservative values.

Breaking media stereotypes about the Republicans as monochrome, with candidate conservatives of color is icing on the cake, as the success of Republican minority candidates is proof more-so than the election in 2008 that we can and should move beyond racial politics and into the politics of principled equal opportunity, competence, and vision.

Here are two conservatives of color who are State Rep candidates in Texas:

    http://marilynjacksonfortexas.org/

The results of yesterday offered up strong executive leaders who are women in CA. A hispanic female conservative who may be the next Governor in New Mexico. This is NOT your Daddy’s GOP … And it’s a good thing.

EPU once said that Fred Thompson sings sweet sweet music to the earn of conservatives. Tim Scott sings a similar song…..

Watch the video, then send him money…

look like very good candidates. Also Allen West is very good in Fl. I met him at CPAC, and he is a very good guy.
