She will probably break 70% in the runoff and 60% in the general.

    I see this:

Ohio Gov. Ted Strickland, a Democrat, picked up the support of the National Rifle Association Monday, offering voters a reminder of his culturally conservative views as he battles Republican John Kasich in a difficult re-election bid.

I mean, as big a nitwit as Kay Bailey Hutchison is, when Rick Perry had the primary at (IIRC) 49-31-20, she dropped her bid for the runoff, and it counts toward good for her.

What, is this guy hoping another manufactured sex scandal on Haley will come out? You know, because that first one worked out so well…….

    He got 51%.

KBH has been a class act in her concession however.

Nikki Haley is a champ. She has been able to take on the smear machine and make mincemeat out of them.

Strategy meeting at the “Smear Nikki Club”:

Let’s see what’s left in the old playbook. Rumors of divorce? Done that one already. Are any of Nikki’s kids possibly not hers? Ah, that one was weak last time it was used. She never wore a jacket her husband’s company gave her to a sporting event has she? Oh well, can’t use that one. Wait, I got it! She has breast implants! Ah, shucks that one was already used, too.

    Any ideas anyone?

That SC Dem needs to find a butt to kick, and quick!

Bob Etheridge might be able to line something up, lol

At least the Pro Life movement has seemed to *finally* come around to the inescapable conclusion that a vote for *any* Dem is a vote for pro-abortion policies.

But as long as the NRA continues to (bitterly) cling to the illusion that a vote for a Dem *isn’t* a guaranteed vote for the gun grabbers of this country, they are neither a friend to the Republican party, nor to the law-abiding gun owners of this nation.

is a NRA Life Member. One of the more left wing members of our House was the sponsor of the “carry unless prohibited” law here. ‘Course, they vote Democrat Party line on everything else. And as somebody else remarked, when you look at Blue Dog Dems, Pro-Life Dems, Pro-Gun Dems, there’s really only one vote that counts; who they voted for in the Caucus. If you vote for Nancy Pelosi or Harry Reid, you aren’t a Blue Dog, Pro-Life, or Pro-Gun, you’re just a liberal Democrat lying to your constituents.

if Congress and the state legislatures were full of people who truly supported the 2nd Amendment, would the NRA’s lobbyists be unemployed?

I see that you are correct, but I would have sworn to the contrary. Hmmmm, time for me to change meds again I guess.

There must be something in the water in Alabama. The ad starts off with …”And I would impeach him”. Hah! That grabs you right from the start. Listen to who he’s talking to and in the end we’re told “gather your armies”. What a great piece of footage. If you haven’t seen it yet, its floating in a lot of locales. Here it is from Allahpundit at Hot Air.

Lately, Alabama has had some really good ads.
