That’s about the only thing

Bill White, the Democratic candidate for Governor of Texas, fled Austin today to make sure there was no chance he would run into Barack Obama.

The other day, Roy Barnes, the Democratic candidate for Governor of Georgia, fled Atlanta to make sure there was no chance he would run into Barack Obama.

In Austin, TX today, Obama said:

In reference to the upcoming November congressional elections, Obama said: “Well, we can politick for three months. They forgot I’m pretty good at politicking.”

There is only one possible response to this statement: He may be pretty good at ‘politicking’, but he sure as heck is a miserable failure at governing.

When you shine a flashlight on cockroaches, they run and hide. “You Lie!” hussein is now the flashlight and d-crat socialists running for election in November are the other ones.

The really cool thing about Obama’s Texas trip; Gov. Perry was not afraid to meet the President.

As Sarah Palin would say, Perry has “cojones”.

Front page this morning; called it a “bag drag” with a lot of Texas Dems complaining how the DNC uses Texas only as an ATM. Came in 2008, scooped up $6.8-million, and left about $204,000 behind for the locals. Their Senatorial committee grabbed another $4-million, but left only $40,000 behind for Noriega to challenge Cornyn.

In a separate article, the students at UT Austin are excited, and lining up for the show. Any bets on how many of those are not paying for their college? How about a side bet on the number of students who ARE paying their own way, and still want to hear Obama speak?

but he was fine accepting the crappy book from Chavez last April.

Perry Tan Suit = power projection, light colors are expansive, space = power (see reddogrep’s link) – also practical in 102 degree heat but no doubt, power projection.
Obama Left hand extension= recognized defensive shield move since Knights in Armor & the Middle Ages
Both of them in stance and brace, look like they are practicing the “shake hands in the middle maneuver” necessary in televised Presidential debates.
No I am not starting rumors Perry will run, he has said he won’t. Just sayin’…

    Signed,

    Bill White

While waiting for a medical appointment. I saw some of the broadcast TV coverage on the Obama visit here in Texas. Perry was visible, talked and was talked about. Bill White was “mentioned” and discussed in terms of his absence. Perry reinforced his image as a “Governor.” White, no image of anything much. He would have been better off “confronting” Obama instead of making his run from him so obvious that it was talked about on broadcast TV.

Glad to hear it, I hope it is on the net so I can view it.

I love The University but it is simply disgusting to see there were 1000 UT students who are so na?ve, ignorant or just plain stupid to not understand how The Moron is screwing up their lives, futures and potential.

I would not be surprised to learn those kids were the same as those who are allowed admission to The University because of Federal affirmative action guidelines. They prevent good kids who meet the State?s Top 10% graduation rule from gaining admission.

These kids and their kids are going to pay the highest price for the Domestic Terrorist-in-Chief and his socialist democrat party attack on America.
God Bless Rick Perry and his leadership team of Texas!

UT Austin is the primary reason the rest of us used to (and some still do) call Austin “Moscow on the Guadalupe”.

You are correct that they are “kids”, and the children at UT (and most institutions of “higher learning”) include most of the faculty. How else to explain the otherwise widespread deviation from Churchill’s maxim on Liberalism and Conservatism?

All problems are nails. In Obama’s case, life is a campaign. Keep them guessing while the whole structure is torn down. Then the marxists can rebuild their dream.

Seems to be a lot of comments on “Fairness” this AM. OK, if I was a pond scum pol idiot exploiter liberal in Texas, lets be fair, I would not want to be seen with Obama either, lots of Texas idiots have figured out they were being exploited, though it seems they are still idiots. A couple of dozen of them showed up at his meeting to be shorn.
