Buck Beats Bennet

The Democrats said no way. They said Ken Buck is fringe, thinks social security is unconstitutional, and is opposed to the federal government taking over and destroying the student loan industry.

The Democrats said there was no way Ken Buck could beat Michael Bennet.

Heck, the GOP establishment said the same thing.

According to Rasmussen, Buck is beating Bennet 46% to 41%.

Maybe that is why the DSCC is flat out lying about Ken Buck’s positions on social security and student loans.

Bennet, however, has massively more money than Buck, the bulk of which went to Jane Norton who had been crowned as “most electable” by the Washington Republican crowd.

We need to get some money for Ken Buck.

needs dollars and now would be a great time to send him. The GOP is united in CO-in the senate race at least. Time to elect him to the US senate. He is a good candidate and I think he will be a great US senator.

At least according to SurveyUSA. Wow!

There’s one fricken’ “T” in Bennet.

Sen. Bennett is the guy that was defeated in Utah.

Now if the gov race could get on the right track instead of the train wreck it is right now. Colorado might come back to respectability ?

Right now the GOP establishment is not publicy backing the primary winner Maes. ?And of course we have Tancredo ruining as a third party. Which is essentially handing the Gov office to Hickenlooper.?

  • rdelbov

state chair said today that he is 100% behind Maes. I think Tancredo bails or blinks at the last minute.

I think Maes and the GOP will give eacother a collective bear hug

and make him an offer he can’t refuse.

Just because the Denver Democrat Poser paper publishes it, doesn’t make it true. Do you remember how many “Republican Civil War” stories have floated around over the years? I’ve only been voting for 13 years and even I know they’re a joke.

I fully expect the COGOP to get into full-tilt-boogy mode soon enough. Unless they don’t, and until then, lets hold the friendly fire (or even the appearance thereof).

    IMNTBHO.

Dems are clueless…There is no excitement about Bennet. Obama was able to get a temporary surge from the left that will be absent in November. Buck will pull it out, as wrong as he runs a decent campaign.

Colorado GOP is coming out with support for Dan Maes. Several county chairs have sent letters and made calls to that effect. Will the Republican Governor’s Assoc. do their part? As of this afternoon Mrs. Norton has yet to throw her support behind Ken Buck and until she does, her supporters will likely withhold donations and other help. Unfortunately, she is living up to her pre-primary reputation of being elite and unable to accept adversity or criticism. Ken Buck always quickly agreed to support HER if she won when asked, while she usually danced around the question. Apparently, she’s still dancing–or maybe just pouting. Colorado and the U.S. need a Republican to reclaim that Senate seat. Ken Buck is the candidate and he’s a conservative that will vote conservative. What’s the hold up? Your country is calling. All hands on deck.

  • betsyred

They counted him out all along and he got the job done. He’ll do it again. Norton supporters, start writing checks.

conservative Republican like Norton back a liberal Democrat against Ken Buck? Ms. Norton enthusiastically endorsed Buck on election night and urged her supporters to help Buck defeat Bennet.

  • ffc99

to say “would back a liberal Democrat…”

  • http://www.nighttwister.com NightTwister

    …well, you know.

A 5-second google search found this:

I fully endorse Ken Buck and I encourage each one of you to do the same.

This was quote was from election night.

Ken Buck was gracious in his reply,

Jane is a wonderful person. It’s difficult to run against friends but that’s what you have to do in the primary.

  • eburke

    before posting.

Aside from the fact that Norton is a helluva lot closer to Buck’s ideology than Bennet’s for heaven sake, she *endorsed* him last night.

But thanks for alienating all the Norton supporters ’round here who are trying to get over their candidates loss and back our candidate. Nothing like not knowing what your talking about while we’re trying to unify the party.

  • Adjoran

he is still the incumbent, and incumbents polling 41% with less than 12 weeks to the election lose. I cannot think of a single exception to this rule, and suspect if there is one it involved a three-way race.

  • colawman

The guy with two TT’s supported Norton then was defeated in his own primary. He then went on a rant against the Tea Party, Palin, Limbaugh, and Hannity. Will never forget him.

  • colawman

Norton in her concession speech clearly voiced her support for Ken Buck. She stated that the race was more important than she and Ken. She stated that it was no longer about 30 second soundbites. She graciously threw her support behind Ken. Ken Buck commented at the beginning of his acceptance speech that he and Jane were friends before and they will be friends again. He commented on how classy and gracious she was.

Let’s be careful what we post!

Bickering is our enemy. It will divide us. That’s what the Democrats are hoping for. They learned their lesson in the 60s: the socialist party movement was nearly dead, and then they learned the lesson of uniting for the greater good. They are back with their Saul Alinsky and stronger than ever. With obama’s exceptional community organizing skills, the progressives are everywhere, infiltrating our ranks and trying to divide us. We MUST STAY FOCUSED! I think November might be our only shot at stopping this massive transformation.

Right now, we only have 2 choices: the progressives or the Republicans. Get behind the Party people. We can nit-pick later.
