Happy Birthday Cleta Mitchell

Not to embarrass her, but Cleta Mitchell’s name is worth knowing. Cleta is a conservative trench fighter who has helped more than a few conservatives out, including me.

She’s been a great friend to me and to RedState. It is worth us saying Happy Birthday to Cleta on our front page and wish her all the best.

And you all can consider this an open thread.

    That song rings in my ears to this day but it is not PC to call anyone “dear” any longer as it may be sexist. I think we are supposed to say comrade these days, no?

    When I was a freshman at the University of Oklahoma, Cleta Deatheridge (wasn’t Miller yet) was a senior (I think) and was student body president. I can still remember thinking back then that she would probably be governor of the state one day. I knew even then, as a lowly freshman fresh off the farm, that she was destined for great and good things. I’ve been so proud of her, and always enjoy seeing her rare appearances on FOX. Happy Birthday, Cleta!

    So glad she’s on our side, she has been fighting “election deform” forever, is totally dedicated to the First Amendment. She’s one of the best election attorneys in the country. Happy B-Day, Ms. Mitchell, and many, many more!
