American Stalin: Alan Grayson And His Views on the Anti-Defamation League, the Military, and Other Things

Grayson is no Stalin, but neither is his opponent 'Taliban Dan'

You might well say it is extreme hyperbole to call Alan Grayson an American Stalin. You would be right. But it is no different than what Alan Grayson, in extremist, hyperbolic lies, is doing to his opponent Daniel Webster.

As has been well documented, Grayson attacked Bill Clinton Daniel Webster for getting academic deferments from Vietnam and then failing his medical exam, thus denying him the ability to serve his country.

Grayson then referred to Webster as “Taliban Dan” selectively editing Webster’s comments to make it sound like Webster was saying exactly the opposite of what Webster really was saying.

What’s more, Grayson demanded the Federal Election Commission investigate and incarcerate one of his critics who claims Grayson is crazy.

Calling Grayson an American Stalin is no less onerous that what Grayson himself is doing. In fact, what Grayson is doing is worse. He is an elected official using the power of his office to threaten and intimidate critics, attack females in Congress as “whores”, and fund his campaign to slime opponents with edited video footage making it appear the opponents are saying exactly the opposite of what they did say.

Grayson has become the politician who attacks his opponent for having a thespian daughter.

Beyond the lies, however, lies an ugly truth about Alan Grayson that the media ought to pursue.

Grayson’s senior policy advisor — the guy he chose to advise him on a daily basis — has views that seem to fit Alan Grayson. Enterprising reporters out asking Alan Grayson why it is he wants to throw his critics in jail, need to ask some crucial questions about Grayson and his senior policy advisor, Matt Stoller.

In fact, here the questions to ask — all based on the well known and pre-existing views of Grayson’s senior policy advisor who, again, Grayson himself hand picked:

Congressman Grayson, do you believe, as your senior policy advisor Matthew Stoller does, that the Anti-Defamation League is “a crazy racist institution”?

Congressman Grayson, do you believe, as your senior policy advisor Matthew Stoller does, that Senator John McCain is “a crazy cancer-ridden dishonest madman”?

Congressman Grayson, do you believe, as your senior policy advisor Matthew Stoller does, that the U.S. military is a treasonous institution that will “undermine Obama unless he pursues neoconservative policies”?

If Grayson does not, then one must question his judgment in hiring a guy to advise him who believes, and believed prior to his hiring, that the Anti-Defamation League is “a crazy racist institution” and the military is a treasonous organization that will “undermine Obama.”

If Grayson does, then one must wonder if his constituents are aware of that fact.

Oh, and his constituents probably want to know what exactly his ties are to ACORN. Here is a video of one of his staffers bragging about how much Alan Grayson loves ACORN — masters of voter fraud.

It’s somewhat difficult for out of state folks to donate to Webster, as he has no credit card link on his website. My check for $250 is already in the mail to:

    Daniel Webster for Congress
    Campaign Headquarters
3506 St. Valentine Way, Suite 3
    Orlando, FL 32811
    Telephone: (407) 295-3919

Just seeing Grayson’s mentally-challenged face on the tube motivates me to want to give his opponent more money!

Give until it hurts – Grayson, that is.

He comes off as the muscle-bound enforcer for an rban drug-selling operation. He has a low cunning and a certain level of skill at petty meanness. beond that, this man offeres absolutely nothing as a human being.

I have to thank RS for devoting so much time to defeating this shameful excuse for a human being.

Perhaps I’ll try to find out where he’s going to be and get some face-to-face answers to these questions.

This man is a total disgrace. He believes the only way to win an election is to attack your opponent personally.

I have seen 3 (count them!) signs for this man in O Town. One at a law office, and 2 at residences in “rich” areas. Took everything I had not to run my car up on the lawn and run over the signs. I cannot believe anyone would actually say they voted for him.

HE IS TOAST [although his internal polling has him ahead...yeah, right]. It doesn’t matter how much money he has for commercials, etc.

Even the radio stations here ran stories debunking the horrible “Taliban” commercial and ran the entire statement that Grayson “cherry-picked” in order to make his commercial. They certainly didn’t run any stuff like that when McCullom & Scott were pummelling each other.

He is scum of the first order and I CANNOT wait to vote him out.

My parrot is smarter than he is, and much more polite.

In addition to being fraudulent, hyperbolic, and sleazy, it could also be said to be Islamophobic: the Islamic text below the two maps in the ad is the Islamic profession of faith, implication being that the Taliban=Islam.

I hope Greyson holds on. As the most over the top, absurd, and extreme demagogue in the Democrat caucus, he scares and offends most of the middle and right across the country. That’s a good thing for us.

Republicans couldn’t ask for a better foil. I hope he stays in congress for 30 years and we use him to define what it means to be a Democrat…angry, corrupt, and immoral.

  • tjpeco

The local teachers “association” (*cough*union*cough*) is up the street from me and has nothing but democrat campaign signs. It takes a lot of personal restraint to not go over there and do some “landscaping” in the interests of “urban beautification”

  • JX12

He’s got a “D” behind his name. Therefore he must go.

  • davesinsanantonio

Actually, it is a dumb idea to keep any of them for ANY reason!
Also, Grayson is so totally full of himself, and seems to have enough money, to continue to make his stooopid ads forever, even if he is out of Congress. And, the even stooopider antique media will probably have him on all their Sunday talk shows, because they seem to believe any thing a Dem-rat says, the more outlandish the better!
So, NO, we do not want Grayson in Congress one more minute, let alone 30 years.

  • JadedByPolitics

Do you walk and chew gum at the same time? well of course you don’t, this type of stupidity doesn’t allow for a brain that does two things at once. BE GONE!

  • blooch

They’re defining themselves just fine, thank you. We’ve been up to our a$$ in “foils” for years now. This isn’t Laurel and Hardy and nobody’s laughing anymore. If there’s someone out there who doesn’t know what Dems are, he/she is is either young, useless or both.

And know your enemy is named *Grayson* .

This Grayson nut job is the worst sort: a democrat nut job with power to write legislation – and access to a microphone.

This Grayson nut job has a brother from another mother, too. Democrat Pete Stark (raving mad) from California, who routinely verbally attacks his own constituents.

Moral bankruptcy and intellectual dishonesty are their calling cards and the politics of personal destruction is their tool of choice.

And the indolent talking heads of the MSM make a habit of ignoring the lurid displays of these democrat nut jobs. The obvious contrast any blogger would make is “what if a Republican had said/done this or that??”

We all know the answer to that one, which is why I always say that the only difference between a conservative nut job and a liberal nut job is that liberals elect their nut jobs to public office.
