The Incongruous Moment

We have reached the incongruous moment — that moment in time where things not in keeping with the surrounds and intended visuals suddenly merge into making perfect sense.

Walter Mondale is giving advice to Barack Obama on how to connect with the American people.

It was Mondale who, yesterday, told Barack Obama to ditch the teleprompter. This was preceded by Michael Dukakis admitting he had given the White House advice.

Suddenly the American public is reminded of how few successful national Democrats there are.

We have a president who can’t even speak to a kindergarten class without a teleprompter!!

When his teleprompter is removed, he can’t even order a hamburger (and mustard) on his own.

Bozo the clown could deliver a better off-the-cuff speech than Obama.

The reason is because Obama has zero proficiency in ANYTHING other than the tonality of his voice, when scripted, and Trojan Horse capability of his media-propped hollow grand-standing.

The fact that failures such as Mondale and Dukakis are giving him advice shows even further that the DemComm proficiency, integrity, and leadership capability is less than zero.

When Obama first came to national attention, and then during his never-ending campaigns, I tended to believe along with everyone else that, while he was as liberal as the day is long, still he was a good speaker – captivating, in command of the language, etc. But time has shown most of us that this was all a facade. It amazes me that people still say things like Mondale did in the article: “But I think he — he’s very bright — as a matter of fact, brilliant.” If Obama loses the teleprompter, he’s lost, and it’s obvious. If Obama follows Mondale’s counsel and loses the prompter, everyone will see him for the useful idiot he is.

Inarticulate, mumbling, stuttering, stammering – sounds like my cat hurling a hairball. Mark Levin says Obama sounds like he has Tourette’s (and he does a devastating impression). “57 states,” “corpseman,” and about 150 other unforced errors that should never have occurred and would never have occurred in someone actually ready for prime time.

As for the parade of mostly-loser Dems coming to Obama’s rescue – Rush must be getting very gleeful these days, because Democrats all over the country are on the verge, truly, of becoming a laughingstock. Just the way Rush likes them – out of power and funny as hell. Well, Jon Stewart sure thinks so.
