Congressman Charlie Wilson Is A Wife Beater

Good job by Mike Flynn and Big Government uncovering this absolutely horrendous court filing detailing the abuse Congressman Charlie Wilson (D-OH) inflicted on his ex-wife — much of which he admitted to doing in a deposition. Clara Wilson went so far as to use the term “extreme cruelty” to describe what Charlie Wilson put her through.

Wilson admitted in his deposition to grabbing his wife by the neck and shaking her.

According to the court document, Wilson “slammed [his wife] into the refrigerator.” Wilson admitted in his deposition that early in his marriage he “kicked and struck” his wife and “accused her of adultery.”

    There is an interesting contrast here to the case of the Republican candidate for Congress from Georgia, where you have Democrats and their media allies trying to get a hack judge to unseal a CONFIDENTIAL divorce document in a fishing expedition to find some kind of dirt on the candidate. That is one thing, and I’m sure they have some justification as to why that tactic is acceptable, but in Mr. Wilson’s case above, you have a PUBLICLY AVAILABLE document that the mainstream media has simply chosen to ignore for the 14 years that he has held elective office.

    This is what the GOP needs to do. Instead of whining when Democrats get the goods on our candidates, we need to fight back. It drives them crazy.

    Comparison of figures in the two times is both stunning and sad. Thirty years ago there was another Charlie Wilson in Congress, but this one was named Good Time Charlie (Charles Nesbitt) Wilson, D-Lufkin (TX). How long has it been since we have seen a Congressman act out of pure patriotism on any issue – of course Charlie had no need to abuse or be unkind to any woman, he certainly did not lack popularity with the opposite gender. RIP Charles Nesbitt Wilson (1933-2010)[covertly decorated during his lifetime, buried at Arlington National Cemetery earlier this year.]

    Conservatives unfortunately have to play by prison rules when it comes to campaigns. The media always flips out when conservatives go negative, but that’s because they know how effective it is.

    Had McCain not pulled any punches in 2008, that election would have been a lot closer.

    As a woman I’d kick him in the balls as a voter I’d kick him out of DC and representing me ( if I lived here)

    Another Democrat beating on some poor innocent woman or young college kid asking questions. They all yell down the citizens; abuse the dissenters, lie to the voters, lie to each other, refuse to pay income taxes we must pay.

    Vote them out of office for they are just not respectful of the Constitution.
