Council on American Islamic Relations: A Co-Conspirator to Terror

Power Line brings us the news that the Council on American Islamic Relations (“CAIR”) has been found by both the executive and judicial branches of the United States Government to be an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation case.

If you recall, the Justice Department prosecuted the Holy Land Foundation for providing support to a terrorist group. In the particular case it was Hamas.

As Power Line notes, the Justice Department named CAIR as an unindicted co-conspirator in the case and both a federal district court and the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals concurred.

Maybe now the media will stop trying to pretend that CAIR is some innocuous civil rights group. Hahahaha. Who am I kidding?!

Documents entered into evidence at that trial (The Holy Land Foundation Terrorism Funding trial, in which verdicts of ‘guilty’ were returned on ALL 185 charges) prove that CAIR shares members of boards of directors, funding, and ultimate goals with none other than the Muslim Brotherhood. These documents were stipulated to by the defense, which is to say that their authenticity was unchallenged.

    CAIR, sort of the political/legal branch of the Muslim Brotherhood, has insinuated itself into every level of our government. Al Amoudi, former advisor to Presidents Clinton and G.W. Bush, is now in prison, but he’s just the tip of the ice berg. CAIR has advisors in local police organizations, the Department of Defense, Department of Justice, and Homeland Security.

    I’m glad to see they’re finally being recognized for what they are.

    Is “unindicted co-conspirator” a legitamate legal term? And if it is, meaning that a certain threshold of provable evidence has been gathered, then why doesn’t the justice department actually indict the responsible CAIR members?

    This administration has all the evidence it needs to prosecute any and all people involved with ‘cair’ but, it won’t.
    It won’t because Islam is the name of the game with this president and his islamic leaning/protecting administration.
    I don’t think there’s ANY doubt in our collective minds where Obama’s allegiance is aimed . . . . and it ain’t aimed at Christians and US citizens. In fact, [Patriotic Christians] are quickly becoming the enemy . . . . . my proof???? just look at ANY airport security check point and tell me how our government is treating it’s own Patriotic Christian citizens!!

    I don’t think the over the hill hippies in the Obama Administration are so much Pro-Islam as they are for anything that is anti-American. People like Pelosi, Boxer, Axelrod and others of that generation, rejected anything American. CAIR, the Muslim Brotherhood, and the other jihadists are virulently against anything that is American, so the hippie squad is all for them.

    Their motto is -

    All other aspects aside, many muslims believe truly that their faith is one of peace. This is not borne out by any reading of the Qu’ran.

    In my view, Islam DOES NOT qualify to be considered to be a “religion” at all and is even suspicious being considered a “faith”.

    ISLAM is a “Sociogeopolitical World View” (a made up contraction of words) it is a philosophy of sorts that promotes a complete encapsulated social, legal and faith based way of life that is itself based on a TOTALITARIAN THEOSOPHISTIC DESPOTIC DICTATORSHIP wherein the “Dictator” is a book. They make Mohammad out to be some kind of a wonderful and godly person. Even a quick look into his life tells you that it isn’t true … not even close … NOT EVEN CLOSE!

    Islam has been “at war” since about 624 CE with everyone who is not “of their faith”. This includes those who are “of their faith” but not of their particular sect.

    I was taught that we (europeans) did dreadful things to muslims during the Crusades and thereby earned their anger and wrath. The truth is that the Crusades were in reaction to Islamic expansionism and jihad that had been going on for … centuries … That is, Islam began to spread throughout eastern and southern europe through brutal Jihad and Terrorist acts beginning in the early 600′s … the EARLIEST Crusade of record is 1095 CE. So … for MORE than 450 years Islamic Military Conquest (Jihad) ripped almost unfettered through the mediterranian, north africa, middle east, eastern and southern europe before europeans got their act together to push back.

    If you read any of the accounts of the Islamic Expansion, you will note that the numbers of those killed or dragged off into slavery in the process run to the TENS and even HUNDREDS of THOUSANDS and include entire populations of cities … children, women, men, various religions … no matter. This is borne out not only by “anti-Islamic” sources but actually boasted about in their own accounts.

    Islamic Expansion is alive and well and has NOT stopped. It will NOT stop. Instead of “In Your Face” brutality they are now, for the most part, slowly seeping into our communities and undermining our social and legal structure. It leads to the same thing, its either subjugation by conquest or pulling down the structure by inner rot and corruption.

    A basic tenet of the Islamic Faith is that ALL infidels (those not “of their faith”) MUST be converted, enslaved, removed or otherwise eliminated. These are not minor aspects of the Islamic faith, these are major points and there are MANY others;
    Kill the disbelievers [non-muslims] wherever we find them. (Sura 2:191)
    The infidels are your sworn enemies. (Sura 4:101)
    Make war on the infidels who dwell around you. (Sura 9:123)
    Prophet, make war on the infidels. (Sura 66:9)

    The bible has similar items but are not as basic to the belief AND were included for the purpose of PREVENTING just this type situation. Christians have at times perverted their faith and done horrible things but Christianity is based on “love of your fellow man” whereas Islam is based on hatred, death and destruction to all those who are not of their faith.

    Either people wake up and stop the politically correct pussy-footing around OR prepare to someday live in an Islamic world as a muslim.

    REMEMBER: the phrase “Politically Correct” (PC) is just another way of saying “Socially Acceptable Hypocrisy” (I was taught that “No-one likes a hypocrite”).

    Yes. While the Dept of Justice officially frowns on using this status for persons/organizations participating in a conspiracy, it is a status recognized by the courts. In fact the primary case law involving this status was set by the very same 5th Circuit which affirmed the status of CAIR by refusing to remove the organization from the list.

    The reason for not indicting these conspirators (which is what they actually are, conspirators in a conspiracy) are several. Grants of immunity to testify, evidentiary concerns, determined difficulty in successful prosecution, etc.

    IIRC, there is not a single decision from any Islamic legal or theological authority which would support the Western idea of “peaceful”. The historic Islamic idea of peace is to conquer territory (by war if necessary), convert all who would be converted, allow those “People of the Book” (Christians and Jews) to accept dhimmitude and send the remainder to the grave. The dhimmi status has varied with time and location. It always involves paying a tax, has at times involved being required to wear certain clothes (to ensure the status was obvious to all) being denied the right to wear certain clothes (again to prevent appearing to be a Muslim). It has involved physical abuse, even to adults by children, without the right to protest, much less avoid. This would be the Islamic idea of “multi-culturalism”.

    Where Islam has varied from strict adherence to Sharia, Jihad, et al, it has been because of geography. Indonesia is the largest majority Muslim country. It is also far, far removed from the Arab Peninsula. So this Islamic country has a history of laissez faire religion, including accepting homosexuals. Islam in the Balkans was far different from that in the Middle East. Islam in Chechnia, under Communism, was a different religion, etc. This is changing with a younger generation which is far more militant and demanding.

    We ignore the threat posed by a re-emerging militant Islam at our peril.

    Both of your comments are right on the money. I wish you luck in your battle for Europe. I know we in America are hosting the same battle but not with the intensity that you must feel.

    I can’t assign enough 5′s to indicate how strongly I agree with this! It’s not something you will ever hear from MSM, but it’s the truth. If you question this, try reading her books or listening to a few of Brigitte Gabriel’s speeches or read some of the articles at her non-profit group, American Congress for Truth (http://www.americancongressfortruth.com/), or its political arm, ACT! for America (http://www.actforamerica.org/). Talk about a voice of truth!

    (I am just an avid believer in her groups, and have no financial interest in either group, in case anyone questioned my motives.)

    as to where Obama stands, there is a video clip of a speech of his in which he purported to recite from the opening sentence of the Declaration of Independence. He “quoted” (names changed to reflect the politics of our day) “All people are created equal, and are endowed (at which point he looked at the teleprompter for several seconds) … with certain unalienable rights.” This poseur couldn’t even bring himself to say “by their Creator”. So one the one hand he tries to eliminate faith in God from our political heritage, and on the other he holds a White House dinner to celebrate the end of Ramadan.

    And none of the Obamaniacs seem to care.

    Hello America,

    The White House and Justice just discovered and agreed what most of us have known forever that CAIR is in league with terrorists, which I hope in their eyes makes their presence here suspect.

    Now my question is, when do the arrests and prosecutions start. This would be a great beginning to put radical Muslims in this country to make us a sharia Caliphate that we know who you are, you can’t hide and we are coming for you. Do you want to do this the easy or hard way. The choice is yours.

    I am happy to read the results of just a glance into the Quran. A fellow researcher is always welcome aboard. How else are the eyes of our fellow Americans under the disillusion of POLITICAL CORRECTNESS going to have the fog cleared from their cranium.

    I think we should make PC a crime, so when we begin sweelping the country for radical Islamofascists, we can net their PC crowd allies in one huge net and get rid of both. There is no room for anti Americans of any stripe in our country.
