Eric Holder: Man on a Mission

With a federal jury finding a terrorist not guilty of all but one charge, with a Somali teenager arrested for trying to blow up Americans at a Christmas Tree lighting ceremony, with the wikileaks debacle, and with more and more to preoccupy the Attorney General of the United States, you’d think Eric Holder would be holed up in his office fighting the good fight.

You would be wrong.

Mr. Obama is sending his Attorney General to Switzerland to lobby for the World Cup. Yes, apparently the most important job for the American Attorney General is to make sure we get a soccer tournament in 2022.

Don’t you feel safe and secure in that knowledge? At least Obama isn’t going himself given his success at getting the 2016 Olympics for Chicago.

If not so darn serious…. Never mind the world cup Eric, Palin can take care of that.

Wikileaks, North Korea, last minute lame duck plots in Congress.[ Dems last chance to do real damage] and the O is barely visible. Allowing for the basketball thing there is always statements that can be issued in his name.
It appears there’s a lot out there O doesn’t want to be near.
The wikileaks thing may not be so dad to the W H rabble, it damages Hilary and America, a twofer they can live with.

I will feel safer with Holder OUT of the country. Just like I feel safer when congress it OUT of session.

I remember my grandfather’s west Texas wisdom: “Thems that can, do. Thems that can’t, teach”. The American people are seeing, firsthand, the difference between theory and practice – the difference between those that actually do things, and those that have never accomplished anything and just “teach”.

Its time to let the grownups drive.

…..to get very depressed, looking out over the landscape at the devastation caused by this administration, both domestically and internationally, in just two years, and knowing there are still two years ago. On the plus side, there does seem to be a rebirth and a relearning of America on several fronts, and there are several people who need to be acknowledged for that. Here’s hoping that momentum will continue to 2012.

I read once that John Hancock (IIRC) wrote that he didn’t know where the continentals would find the caliber of leaders that would be needed in the struggle against the British.

I think if he got a look at what we’ve got to choose from today, he’d have crossed his name off the declaration.

  • Next93

Every time I think these people HAVE to have reached the apex of thier stupidity, they prove me wrong.

I’m starting to suspect that that paricular point won’t actually be reached until the third week of January, 2013 (please, God!)

Nice try EE, but I for one won’t be fooled. You went just a bit over the top. The whole point of a joke is to make it at least somewhat believable.
Oh, sure, an administration that makes NASA’s top goal increasing muslim self esteem is capable of almost anything, but this? Nah, I’m not that gullible.
    No way, no how..

-You were just kidding, right, Erick?

Grndpaal hopes ( and prays, too ) that there are some of ‘out there’ who know our only hope with this administration is for praying people to…pray.

Perhaps the One our Founding Fathers called ” Providence ” will once again come to the rescue of the Continental Congress… ( I know…i kno….

  • mosander

I think it is great he is away from the country. No ethics in the Senate or the Executive Branch. Less damage traveling.

  • grndpaal

grndpaal’s wife sez…. Heaven help us ! Or should I say the One Who lives there help us ?? Only God can get US thr’u this mess… and I don’t believe He is Dem. or Rep., either…

Faith… faith in God’s Son and prayer in His Name is the answer. After reading the last book in the Bible, I’m convinced, whether in my life time or not isn’t important; the fact of God’s return to this planet is clearly stated !

Until then, as grndpaal sez, Prayyyyyyyyyyyy……..

fool and I’d rather see him pimping for a soccer tourney than screwing up a case in court.

  • lizaz

out of town so he doesn’t have to answer any questions about anything!! Let it all fall down around our ears…”his honor” can always blame Bush. What a disaster this “administration” is!!! Can we survive two more years????

  • sarg01

We’re at what has the potential to be an amazing moment in our history. The Tea Party movement has restored legitimacy to the concept that government cures are often, in fact usually are, worse than the disease.

We constantly complain about people who had to get elected and fundraise in the old system, with the old media. Of course these people are beholden to the establishment that put them there. Until this most recent election, there was no other way to get there! Would we really prefer they have eschewed fundraising and ceded their seats to Democrats?

Paul was once Saul. Past history is not a guarantee of future performance. People can and do change, especially politicians, and especially when the electorate changes as it has for the past year.

Someone’s going to step up, I guarantee you.

    From President Talk-show O…

    Me….

Unless it was against some white folk… I wouldn’t trust Holder to successfully prosecute a sidewalk-spittin? up in Lake Zurich, IL.

On a side note… I’ve always thought that “clowns” were somewhat creepy. But hot-dang people… Clown Holder is downright disturbin’!! Fit right in… at a death-day party.

ZURICH — Russia will host the 2018 World Cup.
It was chosen Thursday by FIFA’s executive committee over England and joint bids by Spain-Portugal and Netherlands-Belgium.
Russia won despite the absence of Prime Minister Vladimir Putin in Zurich. At the last minute, he declined to make a final pitch for his country.

Heh, heh – That’s what you get when you send a clown to do a man’s job. But the Obama administration would not know much about how real men do things.
