Breast Milk and the TSA

Now we have yet another TSA outrage. Something tells me the media would be much more worked up by this if George Bush were still President. Oddly enough, in an era when the press is falling all over itself to highlight bipartisanship, here is an issue uniting the left and right.

In this edition of TSA Outrage, we have a mother who didn’t want her breast milk going through the x-ray machine, which held her up 30 minutes. On her next trip through the airport, the same TSA agents detained her for more than an hour even after she gave them a copy of the TSA guidelines exempting breast milk from the x-ray machine.

Meanwhile, that Assange guy keeps releasing our national security details online. If Barack Obama won’t do anything pro-active to shut him down, maybe we should just send over the TSA.

    That was horrible!

We have people with the common sense of a cucumber as our so-called best line of defense against a terrorist getting on the plane with a bomb. Thank you very much, but I think I’ll walk.

I looked up the TSA “regs” and they don’t specifically exempt breast milk from the X-ray machine that I can find. I think detaining the poor woman was an outrage, but the regs don’t say what people are claiming they say. They’re not clear at all (which was probably the intent.)

The TSA page on medical liquids states that they must be submitted for X-ray. On that page, breast milk is NOT included in the TSA definition of a “medical liquid”. This page, however, states “Breast milk is in the same category as liquid medications”, but says nothing about passing through the X-ray machine. It does, however, state: “Our Security Officers may test liquid exemptions (exempt items more than 3 ounces) for explosives.” To me, that means that the agents MAY choose to bypass the X-ray machine and swab for explosives instead. Not SHALL, but MAY.

You say you looked it up. Quote it to us then.

I am sickened that this lady was harassed for trying to give her child the best nutrition she believes she can offer.

Didn’t the health care act also raise taxes on breast pumps.

I know that people are starting get weary of all the complaining about the TSA, but we can’t stop. The libs beat at Bush every chance they got, and that gave us Obama. THey never gave up the whining and neither can we.

I really feel bad for this woman.

I’ve already said I heard dj’s over Thanksgiving weekend all agreeing that we had to submit to the TSA in order to protect ourselves. These are the same leftnuts who screamed and shouted about the Patriot Act and Guantanamo for all of Bush’ admin.

… Instead of the TSA army, the costly machines and the pat downs, simply have one person at each gate with a Koran. Every passenger who rips off a page or spits on it gets on. Take all others are taken aside for further questioning.
For those of you who might take offense at this idea, consider it ‘performance art’ along the lines of the ‘crucifix in urine’ or the recent Smithsonian exhibition of ant-covered Savior.

    “protecting” us from “terrorists.
It’s all about controlling the (relatively rapid) movement of the people about the country.
Think about it. The “politicians” (and all their sycophants) are scared to d***h of “the people”. The TSA is simply another line of defense for them.
Now think about this. If the politicians were governing according to the will of the people, they would have nothing to fear.
    Remember the “Town Hall Meetings”.

    They all gotta go. Period.
And at this point I don’t care how it happens.
    Think about that!

Let the house open up an investigation on the level of stupidity in the TSA until it stops…

More and more elderly nuns, and underaged children are VICIOUSLY ATTACKED by The TSA SEX OFFENDERS ………..WHILE……… women/men in Hajibs are merely escorted through the metal detectors and allowed to go on their way with NO PAT DOWN and NO SCANS!

It’s not about Security. It’s about Barack (COMMIE THUG AM I) Obama saying I OWN YOU!

If this is happening to YOU ………….SUE!

They believe all their sins will be forgiven when they complete their murder/suicide. That is why some of the 19 convinced themselves that it was necessary to their “cover” to go to strip bars to drink and watch the girls strip. While such conduct was condemned by Islam, they apparently believed it was necessary to avoid suspicion – and besides they would soon be forgiven and given all those virgins.

The israekis have a simple plan. The passengers go 1 at a time through a bomb-proof chamber where an electronic pulse is emitted that will detonate any explosives. Simple, cheap, fast. The only problem I see is possibly a 2-component bomb that won’t detonate until combined, It would set off an explosive breast implant though.

… but wouldn’t it be fun to see this proposal aired by the media?
Imagine all the whoopin’ and ‘hollerin’ we’d get from the dark side!
