The trend the democrats are facing is that a small number of blacks are breaking ranks and supporting conservative ideals. We all saw them at TEA Party rallies. Their numbers, as yet, are relatively few but obviously the democrats are frightened they will grow. There are members of the gay communities also breaking ranks, several percentage points more of them voted republican in this last election.

The democrats are desperate to keep their bloc voting bases, it is the secret to their success. The democrat party has traded in single issue politics, pandering to many groups on whatever their cause celeb was for that election cycle. When the various groups are split, voting on solid economics instead of perceived injustice issues, it only takes a modest portion of these groups to break the stranglehold the democrats have held on government. They know this and are responding with these over the top claims. Let them do it, it is eroding their credibility.

Democrats have descended into the class warfare socialists and communists have always attempted, to divide us, make sure we are not unified, and with the split, get what they want. We are all Americans and need to remember that. Conservatives, put your arm around a black or Hispanic or Asian, or whatever other minority is perceived and bring them into our cause. They are our brothers and sisters and we need them as much as they need us. Neither of us can succeed without accepting the other.

Mr. Brown, from his photo on his legislature page, may be black. If so, according to the Holder justice department, there is no such thing as racism against whites. (see the New Black Panther case, where voter intimidation was thrown out http://www.wnd.com/?pageId=173117). So, Mr. Brown HAS to be correct.

There is also another possible slant on this. Is anything that Mr. Brown is saying any worse than Alan Grayson http://www.wikidbs.com/quotes/alan-grayson/ ? And HE was elected to Congress! Maybe it is a new approach to be elected to higher office?

I think he is doing a fine job and should continue to be the face of Democrats in Georgia. If in his infinite wisdom he feels that pulling the race card is the best way to move forward then who are we to question the man’s judgement….?

After Congressional and voting districts that were created based on the racial makeup of their populations have been eliminated, Brown might not merely be the Leader of the GA Democrats. He might be the ONLY GA Democrat to hold office for however long that lasts.

The KKK is the terrorist wing of the Democrat party. And every single villain of the Civil Rights era was a Democrat, just like Robert Brown. I think this may be why Democrats are so quick to call Republicans racists. Racism runs deep in the Democrat soul. It’s made them who they are today. But they feel such intense guilt over these barely concealed racist feelings that they constantly feel the need to project them on others. Poor silly Kluckers.

Just thinking wistfully for a moment on how the Democrat’s media machine could run with a story like this if a Republican said anything that hateful.

…the wise Georgia Republicans should walk through it: Most of us (on the Right) are fully aware of the history of those “midnight meetings in white sheets,” that it was the Tennessee head of the Democratic Party Nathan Bedford Forrest who founded the white-sheet brigade as an enforcement arm OF the Democratic Party with the declared purpose of “breaking up the Republican Party.”

Unfortunately, that bit of history has been “lost or misplaced” to probably a majority of rank-and-file Democratic voters since about the time of the first FDR election. Between then (1932) and the LBJ era (1963-1969), ‘common understanding’ of the facts was somehow reversed in very large areas of our national psyche.

Robert Brown’s bit of demagoguery provides an excellent opportunity for Georgia Republicans to (belatedly) set the record straight: The ground-work for that has been done with historian David Barton’s book, “American History in Black and White.”

If the astute Georgia Republican political class would begin “talking up” Barton’s book on local radio shows and newspaper op-eds, perhaps donating copies of the work to local school and public libraries (and issuing press releases about ‘setting the record straight’), the end result could well be a permanent majority of Republicans in the Georgia voting populace,

“Yes that’s right. All of Republicans and conservatives are evil racists… keep going down that road and you end up with a party of victims. On second thought, please do. So to all my friends keep this in mind, if you’re a conservative or even have conservative leanings you’re either a Klansman or an Uncle Tom or Uncle Juan… You tell me if that makes any sense.”

But seriously we need to reject this crap from the start and to quote our Glorious Dear Leader: get in their face. I’m tired of it. As an American who has never believed in the dominance or furtherance of people based on the darkness of their tan I’m tired of it.

They can tell themselves what they will in their ego reconstruction efforts, but it all comes down to vicious name calling. And they’re not even good at that. Pure Hate mingled with stupidity is a very toxic combo.

Most recent Southern Republicans are former Southern Democrats (just as many current Southern Democrats, the black ones, used to be Republican, back when they had trouble voting). Since we admit that the old Southern Democrats were racists and white supremacists and connected to the Klan, the question is what portion of them took their racial attitudes with them when they switched parties, and what portion of them left their racial attitudes behind with their old allegiance and were glad to be rid of them.

Very few current Southern Democrats still subscribe to the former Southern Democrat notions on race. Some proportion of the new Southern Republicans still do, but the official line is that this racism was left behind. This official line has the same sort of accuracy as the older Southern official line that most blacks were happy with segregation, and is publicly proclaimed for much the same reasons.

The mechanics for propagating and strengthening Big Lies provide a fascinating view into human nature.

First of all, to call people racists because they are leaving your party in droves is immature and slanderous. Maybe a better use of your time would be to figure out why people are leaving your party. Could it be because they are pushing a socialist agenda and spending our country into bankruptcy? Oh yes, and lets not forget their latest string of unconstitutional power grabs. It does not take a brain surgeon to figure this one out. Your mask has been removed my friend, and people are not liking what they are seeing.

Also, if you were a more atsute historian you would know that the evil that is and was the KKK originated in southern DEMOCRAT circles. No matter how much you try to spin it the other way, it will never make it true.

Many Southern Democrats were racists; this you agree to. I did not say they were racists because they became Republicans. I asked what proportion of them took their racism with them when they changed parties and what proportion left it with their old affiliation. Simple question; your inability to understand it is how you protect the sublime simplicity of your views. You make yourself as stupid as you have to be to believe what you believe. You can see doctrinaire liberals switching on their stupidity as needed, and they can see you doing it.

Tax cuts without corresponding reductions in spending are what is leading us towards bankruptcy, and either tax increases or spending cuts or a combination will lead us away again. This country has had socialism lite since at least the New Deal and perhaps since Teddy R and the federal regulation of railroads, trusts, food, and drugs. The alternative to socialism lite (Europe, Canada, Australia) is the rule of the super-rich and large corporations, with an electoral figleaf (USA, Russia, and in a strange way China, where the superrich are protected by the Communist Party and the figleaf is the Proletarian Revolution rather than the vote).

Free enterprise tends to self-destruct; somebody wins. This is why we enacted anti-trust legislation; a small group of folks had won and we took their victory away because it was bad for everybody in the long run (including them). Let the electric company or the phone company or your ISP behave as it wants, and they will wind up owning part of everything.
