The Assassination Attempt You Have Not Heard Of

The American Thinker brings us word of an attempted assassination you probably have never heard of.

It happened in September of 2010 in Missouri. A 22 year old named Casey Brezik, wearing a bullet proof vest, charged toward Missouri’s Democratic Governor Jay Nixon with a knife and attempted to slash his throat.

In light of the media’s race to talk about the right’s climate of hateful rhetoric, you have probably guessed by now that Casey Brezik was an anti-Christian, anti-capitalist leftist who participated in a number of leftwing protests. He was also a diagnosed paranoid schizophrenic.

Luckily for all involved, Brezik was high on pot at the time and got confused. Instead of slashing the Governor’s throat, he slashed the throat of a community college dean he took for the Governor.

Jack Cashill, writing at the American Thinker, notes

n his “About Me” box on Facebook, Brezik listed as his favorite quotation one from progressive poster boy, Che Guevara. The quote begins “Our every action is a battle cry against imperialism” and gets more belligerent from there.

On his wall postings, Brezik ranted, “How are we the radical(s) (left) to confront the NEW RIGHT, if we avoid confrontation all together?”

As good as his word, Brezik’s marched on Toronto in June 2010 to protest the G20 Summit, where he was arrested, charged, and deported. “MISSION ACCOMPLISHED,” he boasted.

Given what we have seen come out of Arizona, we can establish two things as fact. First, had Governor Nixon been harmed in any way, the media would have immediately begun lamenting the tea party movement and “political rhetoric.” Second, had the injuries been as they were, but Brezik had listed himself as a Glenn Beck or Rush Limbaugh fan on his Facebook wall, the media would have covered this exactly as they covered Arizona.

The state controlled, Obama-owned, media makes NO significant mention of this even though there was a confirmed assassination attempt on the Gov of Missouri…..BUT.

The murderer was a confirmed LEFTIST. [For the Dems - no political rhetoric problems here. the Dems give him a pat on the back for standing for Che Guevara style violence against the right.]

There was NO GUN, just a brutal throat slashing of someone who a crazy LEFTIST nut confused with his intended victim, the Gov.. [The Dems have no problem with multiple brutal throat slashings with knives. If a gun has stopped the knife from murdering, the hero gunner would have been put on trial, not the murderer.]

It would have been too early for a 2012 election campaign T shirt event opportunity for O at the expense of a brutal killing in order to take Plouffe’s and Jarretts advice to never let a crisis go to waste when you can inject leftist fabricated spin into an opportunity to censor free speech while promoting Communism at the expense of a family;s loss of a loved one.

It also, wasnt already clear that the American public had spoken in the elections and that the Democratic[Socialist] Party was going to not only be beaten in the polls but desecrated in the polls.

The timing wasn’t as appropriate to INVENT an unmitigated group of completely fabricated lies and slander, in order to attack an EXTREMELY detrimental Obama/Dem agenda, and in order to attack those PEACEFULLY and EFFECTIVELY speaking out against Obama and the DemComm agenda.

Nothing to see here. Move on.

Dem [Socialist] Obama, and the Dem [Socialist] Party and the Dem [Socialist], media that they own and run, will go down in history as the darkest stains that this country has EVER seen.

I’m not exactly sure why Che always gets blamed for all these leftist wackos who believe in the “revolution”. Che was definite in his use of guerrilla warfare.

He said in his manual Guerrilla Warfare that:

?Where a government has come into power through some form of popular vote, fraudulent or not, and maintains at least an appearance of constitutional legality, the guerrilla outbreak cannot be promoted, since the possibilities of peaceful struggle have not yet been exhausted.?

Dr. Ernesto Guevera, first, believed in peaceful struggle. This is why the left is different from us. They see and analyze only as far as it serves their purpose. We analyze and look for the truth.

I remember the day, as I live in Kansas City, and paid attention as my son goes to Penn Valley Community College where the incident occurred.

Actually, Gov Nixon had not even arrived yet. His motorcade simply turned around and returned to the airport on the news. Therefore, the near miss was not as dramatic as the media needs for its rhetoric of violence from the right.

And yes, as stated above, there was no “rapid firing semi-automatic pistol with large capacity magazines” involved so it wasn’t anywhere near as evil an event for the media to gloat upon.

    No gun, no story.

“Luckily for all involved, Brezik was high on pot at the time and got confused. Instead of slashing the Governor?s throat, he slashed the throat of a community college dean he took for the Governor.”

You might want to re-word that. “Luckily for all involved” wouldn’t include the dean and his family. Its more like “Luckily for the governor…” It doesn’t sound right if read the way it was written, and I’m sure it wasn’t meant to convey the thought that the luck extended to the victim as well.

Expect a while line of lefties claiming that this lunatic was induced by right wing hate speech.

doesn’t recognize that the so called “main stream liberal media” is in the business, first and foremost, of propaganda and brainwashing.

I am still trying to figure out how it was really “luckily, for all involved.”

They are beginning to come out of the woodwork! I think if we check on the cop shootings, people run over and people attacked, you will see that the leftists have finally achieved what they have accused the Right wing of: making their own crazy as loons!!

Ah, Dr. Che, the killer of innocents. The one responsible for the deaths in the prison camps. The state of Cuba today….thaaaaat Che?

It was a long time before Dr. Che got a taste of his own medicine. Also, becasue he was a wee bit more of a sick puppy. Perhaps the two are somehow causal in their correlation.

injured party is doing. Amazing…NO reporters from all the alphabet networks lurking the hospital hallways waiting for daily updates on the condition of another INNOCENT VICTIM! Nope…just a college dean…not newsworthy! No guns…no anti-right-wing agenda…just move along, folks. The msm is DISGUSTING!! My prayers go out to all who had to witness this tragic event and to the dean and family members.

the SEIU handout given to protesters with a BULLSEYE on WalMart’s happy face…and listing the developer’s HOME ADDRESS! Where oh where are the alphabet networks on this one????? A shooting at a WalMart a couple of days later…NO BLAME placed on the SEIU – NO coverage of the protest!!!! But how quickly they were to blame Glenn and Sarah and ME, a tea partier, for the Arizona shooting. That young man was just as this Missouri fellow was – a POTHEAD! Sure, folks, let’s continue to hide our heads in the sand and say pot is not harmful. These two misfits certainly prove otherwise!
