    It all began with good intentions. We wanted to avoid assassinations for strictly political reasons. (I agree with that policy.) Unfortunately it was sold very simply as being against assassinations even when there might have been good reasons to get rid of someone who endangered American interests and especially American lives. It went ridiculous when we established a policy of no assassinations even when we were at war with another country. We went through a whole kabuki theater of sending missiles or bombs at Sadam Husein and yet everyone assuring the public that this was not assassination. Of course it was; but it was also good, proper, and necessary.

       There are still plenty of governments out there that subscribe to the old medieval means.  Why change when something has worked for as long as they can recall?

       While we in the West have “progressed” to various (obstensibly) constitutional forms of government and more or less give our citizens some say as to stays or goes in government, the old adage “Who died and made you King?” is still in force in several countries.  Most of these happen to be socialist/Marxist dictatorships, Islamist theocratic regimes, and sundry military strongmen.

    The unspoken goal is to remove that psycho and his ghoulish family from power, but the Obama administration has not the guts to admit it. If the goal is to protect the people, then Q the biggest threat to them. I don’t like that there is no plan or goal in this coalition. It really seems like too little too late.
