Barack Obama To Release His Long Form Birth Certificate

Barack Obama is going to release his long form birth certificate. For several years now, he has used this issue as a way to paint those who oppose him has crazy, racist extremists.

With Donald Trump seizing the issue and more and more polling showing people questioned Barack Obama’s country of origin, including the National Newspaper Association, considered the black press of America, the issue has become a liability to Barack Obama.

So he’ll release it and make it a non-issue for most and, for those who continue to believe there is something off, he’ll go back to portraying them as crazy, racists.

Of course, once the birth certificate issue is dispatched, will he release his college transcripts? That’s the issue for me.

When the birth certificate is reviewed and we can see what most of us have always known — that he was born in Hawaii — we can move on. For some, moving on will be to wonder what religion the man is.

He can’t win on this. Not that I care.

Drudge linked this story on his facebook page, and at last count (30 second ago), all 16 comments were declaring it a fake (without even having seen it, of course). And that’s just it. Now that it’s been two years, it’ll NEVER satisfy the birther nuts.

So, you may ask, why do they even bother to harp on it, since they’ll never be satisfied with evidence, and you CAN’T prove a negative. Well, to me, it’s proof of how nuts they are. It’s called obsession.

Honestly, it ONLY helps Obama, because it gives him a clutch of unhinged morons to use as stand-ins for actual Conservatives who actually care about issues.

  • Tavern Keeper

probably puts an end to the “seriousity” of a Trump candidacy. Hang your hat on a one trick pony and somebody shoots the pony you’re left hatless and without a ride.

This administration has lied to us from the get go, I’d imagine what they are really releasing was a fake after allocating the proper printing presses from the 60′s to make this birth certificate real. I just wish he’d release the actual real certificate.

  • powertothepeople
  • http://slcliberty.blogivists.com randy streu

That’s my point. Will you EVER be satisfied, even if he DOES release the real one?

  • http://www.nighttwister.com NightTwister

    You prove Erick’s point.

  • housewindsor

lets not accept it at face value. We need someone to start looking into recent purchases of printing apparatuses from the 60s.

  • SoFiMil

I agree, there will be many that are never satisfied, but the first 16 posts. Now *that* sounds like a coordinated conspiracy.

  • http://www.scragged.com petrarch

We all know that OF COURSE the President has the power, ability, money, contacts, and staff to make perfect undetectable forgeries.

DID he? I seriously doubt it. I have every reason to believe that this certificate is 100% real and reflects actual historical truth. But no, it is in fact not possible to unimpeachably prove it at this late date.

Which is why this all should have been taken care of BEFORE he was elected, if the Treason Media had been doing their job.

At this point, people will believe what they want to believe, nothing more, nothing less.

  • http://www.nighttwister.com NightTwister

I’d drop it if I were you. Just a friendly reminder.

  • housewindsor

and im not one, just wondering.

  • http://www.nighttwister.com NightTwister

People will find some reason to question it, just like the troofers, birthers, mooners, etc. Nothing will ever satisfy them. I doesn’t matter. Obama is the President. Better to put our energy into defeating him in 2012 than wasting a single electron on this crap.

  • congressworksforus

Or does the last name of the attending physician read “Dunham” ?

I’m sure the birthers will jump on this…

  • http://slcliberty.blogivists.com randy streu

birthers can’t be happy, and certainly don’t want to look silly. So, ironically, rather than look foolish by admitting that Obama IS a citizen after all, they’ll beclown themselves by declaring it a fake.

Like I said, honestly, Obama IS the only clear winner in this, as far as I’m concerned.

If the GOP is smart, they’ll thank the President for showing it and allowing Americans to get on with real issues, make it clear, without saying so, that they never believed anything to the contrary, and drop it.

  • rogershru2

Speaking to reporters Wednesday, Trump said, ?I have accomplished something nobody else has accomplished.?
?I want to look at it, but i hope it?s true,? he added. ?He should have done it a long time ago. I am really honored to have played such a big role in hopefully getting rid of this issue.?

He’s moved on to the college transcript issue. Why is that an issue? I don’t have to see Obama’s grades to know he is the worst president we’ve had since Wilson.

  • Bill S

For you to make the assertions you just did, you most certainly ARE one.

You might want to stop now, while you’re behind.

  • congressworksforus

This is just a precursor to the real fight on his college transcripts.

And in particular, I want to know who paid for him to go to Harvard…

  • veritaseequitas

If he does release his college transcripts it will undoubtedly prove that he is an Affirmative Action baby who could not get into college or law school on his own merits. But really, what is that going to prove? That he is a liar? We already know that.

  • gazill

have shown that this was starting to have a negative impact on him; add to that it gives him a chance to speak (stump) again in advance of the official campaign. Every serious GOPer, when pushed about this by the MSM, dismisses this as an issue, so he will get no steam from that avenue, though I am sure folks like George Stephanopolous will continue to question any “R” that appears on his show, in an attempt to paint them in a negative light.

On the snark side, I say to myself I believed him more about this before he spoke about it; now that his lips moved, I don’t believe him.

to dress himself up for the voters by saying that he did not want the origins of his birth to be a distraction for the country, and so he decided to release his bc. Man he is diggin’ deep for something, anything, to help him look good for the voters. In BOgus’ own words – “you can put lipstick on a pig, but it’s still a pig.”

  • whiskey_sierra

So… why do this today when the Fed is having its first press conference in *95 years?*

Distraction from what the other hand is doing maybe?

  • http://slcliberty.blogivists.com randy streu

Bill just stepped in while the rest of us were taking a moment.

Still, there’s a certain art to the reply: “I’m not a conspiracy nut… I’m just saying we should be looking into recent purchases of printing supplies…”

“I’m not a Michael Bolton fan, I’m just saying if you don’t cry when he sings ‘when a man loves a woman,’ you don’t have a soul.”

  • rwtimm

read the wording for being a NBC and being elegible to be POTUS. Both parents have to be US citizens and he has to be born in the US.

    Well 2 outta 3 don’t cut it.

  • http://slcliberty.blogivists.com randy streu

Do tell, to which wording are you referring?

For getting this out in the open early. Otherwise Obama would use it all the way up to election week.

Trump is an opportunist but does deserve credit.

Obama deserves no thanks. He is the freakin CIC and he plays games.

Now the crack is open and I hope Obama is alinskied even more by trump and others about claiming to being open and transparent by releasing college, medical records etc….

  • http://slcliberty.blogivists.com randy streu

Or that the GOP shouldn’t be … pointed … with their “thanks.”

Only that they should basically acknowledge that it happened and move on.

  • msctex

Can anyone find a verifiable, trustworthy source as to how much money was actually spent on legal fees by Obama/the Democratic Party to keep his past so shrouded in secrecy?

Because if the answer is more than $1.00, there is an issue which needs to be addressed, even if it is worded as simply as, “Why is this man not expected to conform to the same standards as past Presidents, with regard to transparency?” (That, and the blatant hypocrisy on the part of the Press, who had it been a Republican would have channeled Woodward and Bernstein and been handing each other awards by now.) Even if the figure is around $250,000, I will still accept misdirection: this is, after all, politics. But over that amount, we are into some murky waters.

God knows this is only consistent with Obama’s dismal performance as President, but if money was spent to cover up his past, we have every reason to ask why that would be. And for that matter, the source of the money used to do so.

  • http://slcliberty.blogivists.com randy streu

maybe they should add to it a mention of the fact that Obama should have simply dealt with the issue when it first cropped up, rather than ALLOWING it to continue to be a distraction.

  • congressworksforus

I mean if I look at the docs that delivered my kids, they were all in their 40s and 50s, making this guy 80-90 if alive.

So, he’s probably passed (convenient, but logical).

Sooooo…. if he died from anything other than natural causes, that’ll give them another hook to swallow.

Man, this might be more fun watching the birthers self-destruct than before the damned thing was released :)

  • congressworksforus

    This!

  • earlgrey

makes him look kind of petty for not releasing it in the first place. of course, I am not what you would call objective.

  • congressworksforus

Since day 1 of his candidacy, the entire Obama machine has been about smoke and mirrors. It’s one distraction after another. When you raise $750m for a campaign, spending a couple of million hiding your birth certificate is chump change.

It’s also possible that people looked at this from the wrong angle. What if the reason for not releasing it was so that the folks in Kenya that believe he was born there aren’t shown the irrefutable proof that he wasn’t?

Still, my money’s on smoke and mirrors.

  • powertothepeople

and I hope the best thing that comes out of all this is that we as a party can now shove these nuts out on their head. They have poisoned this party long enough, maybe they will join the Paultards in obscurity.

But yes, I read somewhere the doc is dead and you may be right, that may be the new Trump effort and the new Birther banner and now we will have to deal with 2 years of how he died.

  • alaskahome1959

There is still something that has a distinct odor about this. Something still isn?t right here but I can?t put my finger on it yet. You don?t spend millions of dollars to prevent something from happening and then just roll over because Donald Trump asks you to do so. After all, Trump has no real credibility in the minds of the press or most of the American public?he is, after all, one of those evil, rich, white guys who they blame for everything. No, you don?t just roll over because ?The Donald? says.

There is still something wrong here.

  • GreyCloak

McCain was born in the Panama Canal Zone in 1936, but it ceased to be a Territory of the US in 1979.

Obama was born in Hawaii, two years after it became a State.

Which is more a citizen? Who cares?

Years ago, my aunt (then ~65) wanted to get a passport. She was born at home in 1903, in Illinois, and never had a Birth Certificate. To get a US passport, she had to find a witness (obviously, age 80+) to affirm her birth. Fortunately, she found one.

Her Grandpa was married in Peoria in 1875, but records of the time (1970s) didn’t note that.

I suppose it is sad that Arnold can’t be President, but he was born in Austria and makes no bones about it.

“Birthers” make the Republican Party look foolish. I have little confidence in the media, but I think they would have been all over it, had it been a problem.

I look forward to another decade of folks claiming that somebody typed over original forms, and decades later, of folks hacking electronic forms.

Maybe Congress could pass another useless law, requiring that all birth and death certificates be hand-written in blue ink.

  • acat

Or, if you prefer, “The birth certificate crisis has not been wasted”.

First, it lets the MSM ignore the real news – the Fed conference is one possibility, could be something new from Tripoli.

Second, it lets Obama off the hook on this particular issue. Erick is right, the college transcripts should also be released, but .. given the stall on this, I doubt anyone will see them before Nov. 2012.

Third, and perhaps most importantly, it sets up another round of birthers vs. conservatives… Can this schism be healed in time to work for conservative causes? If so, then – ironically – conservatives may have Trump to thank…

Or business records (ie Trump). I am not sure the issue is relevant anyways (given the time that has elapsed since graduation, I am sure we all have changed a lot since college) and I am pretty sure that a full release of college transcripts would kill a Palin presidency should she get the nomination.

The birth certificate should never have been an issue. Take a look at past Presidents or candidates running for the Office, this never came up but then again, we’ve never had a community orgainzier, a rabble-rouser as President. Obama put himself in this position and is not to be trusted. How many examples of this could anyone blogging here list? Where does it end?

This President could have been an adult from the get-go and released his birth certificate, period. Now I want to see his transcipts from college. You can criticize Trump but he is doing what the media would have DEMANDED had it been a conservative.

  • Tavern Keeper

It has always been my understanding that a “natural born citizen” is identified through custom as one who either is born on US soil, or one who has ONE (not both) parents that are US citizens.

This is why I’ve never really understood the birther controversy. He could be born at the North Pole and as long as his mother was recognized as a U.S. citizen he would be a citizen, as well, natural-born. The only way this wouldn’t be true is if his mother either voluntarily gave up citizenship or had it stripped (and I’ve seen nothing to either of these points).

  • Common_Cents

If Obama was adopted by Lolo Seoterro the original birth certificate is sealed and a new one is issued w/ the new fathers name. I wonder if they do that for any age child? Was Obama ever adopted? Where are those documents?

Issues come later for Obama whether or not he was adopted by Lolo Soetero, and issues with Indonesian citizenship/college admissions etc… Obama may have used this to get foreign aid for college. He may have not legally changed his name back to Obama if he did to use real fathers name to get into college.

I’m glad Obama gave in to the pressure to release a BC, time to keep up the pressure to get his college records, and medical records etc….or any records that the guy sealed.

Alinskying him worked by using his own words of open/transparent against him.

I’m glad this issue was forced out now by Trump rather than Obama stringing people along right up until before the election. His hand was forced so he had to take action now.

guy that is now in the top running, after the first clean win against Hussein O. His (Trump) performance at the news conference was outstanding. Not only did he point out O’s incompetence as President, but outlined clear and concise problems that O has caused and continues to cause, but gave credible solutions with the actions he would take to restore this once great nation, before O got a hold on it back to it’s natural greatness. He also did not take any crap from the Obama controlled press. In fact, he kicked their @$$ royally. We have been waiting way to long for Republicans to respond to the MSM’s Propaganda. We now have Trump , and if the other Republicans candidates for potus want to taken seriously, they will have to shed the PC suit for a suit that a real man wears. They need to stand to the weekend news pukes and tell them when they are wrong on the facts and their baised propaganda!

  • sandbun

Given that Trump has no chance against Obama, making him look good right now could be the plan. Trump has been bragging that he’s got shocking evidence. Since obviously he couldn’t have that shocking evidence he was about to be made a fool when he failed to deliver anything of substance. Now he doesn’t have to go down that road, and he gets a “win” over Obama. If Obama wanted to make Trump look good he couldn’t have found a much better way of doing it.

It would be a very sly move if that’s what Obama was going for, which probably would be giving him too much credit so it’s probably not true, but it does make you wonder.

  • victrola

If you really want to blame this controversy on anyone, I would blame it on Obama. He could have killed this on day one, instead we heard he was keeping it secret to make his critics look bad (and spent quite a bit of money keeping it from public viewing).

I just don’t understand the political calculus that was going on here. Why let a controversy like this fester? Clearly, it was doing real political damage to Obama, and his internal polling detected it.

I think this makes Obama look bad in a weird way, that he hasn’t been open and transparent with the American public from day one.

It also completely undermines a Trump candidacy (his niche is gone) although I am looking forward to him pounding on Obama about his poor grades and how he’s an affirmative action baby.

  • sandbun

    1) Obama is painfully naive on obvious things. Given that, although I know it’s not popular to mention it here, a lot of Obama’s “fixes” for the debit are more popular than Ryan’s (taxing the rich and no changes to entitlement programs poll pretty well) maybe Obama honestly believes that if he does this the media will start reporting on that. I don’t even think that he believes the true birthers will ever be satisfied, but maybe the media will stop paying attention to Trump and other birthers. This is at least the justification he gave. But a President talking about an issue doesn’t make it go away, it just makes the media get more excited about the topic and now they’ll all go around asking famous bithers to discuss this development and then they’ll have to report the birthers new crazy theories, then explain why those are wrong etc etc. If he honestly believes the reasons he gave he’s even dumber than I thought, I didn’t have a high opinion of him in the first place.
    2) Obama is incredible sly. Given that theory 1 has failed so spectacularly already you have to consider the other side, maybe he wanted that. Maybe this gives Trump more room to make the GOP/conservatives look ridiculous in front of the Independents. The more Trump talks, the more “serious” Obama looks and the less the GOP does. Giving Trump an easy win here is the equivalent of talking of McCain only to trounce him in the election.
    3) State birther bills became an issue. In my opinion this is the most likely one. Given that it’s looking like he was going to have to release it anyway to be on the ballot in some states, he either had to set up for long legal battles that were uncertain to be won or at least won before the election, or he needed to release it anyhow. The longer he waited the worse it would be, then those state GOPers would’ve scored a victory over him. By doing this before those bills are signed he can make it look like he wasn’t forced to by them or by anyone else other than maybe Trump, who doesn’t scare him anyhow.

Yes, the regular tuition charge at Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Brown, etc is very expensive, but they also have very large endowments – in the hundreds of millions of dollars to help pay for tuition. At least at Yale, it’s done on a sliding scale depending on how much money you make.

When our daughter was applying to colleges, Yale was her first choice and we went to New Haven and did a tour of the school and the admissions office. Our share of tutuion would have been about $6500 – ironically only a little bit more than it cost her to go to a state school! The hard part of course is getting accepted, they only have about a 10% acceptance rate.

That was our experience with Yale, but I’m sure Harvard has a similar system as far as tuition help for families that are not wealthy.

You honestly think that Trump won and that he got the WH to do something they didn’t want to do? I doubt it. They were planning all along to release it and now that Trump raised the idea that BO was ineligible to go to Harvard, the WH figured they could put out the long-form and let the Birthers move on to the next BO conspiracy (college grades, foreign scholarships, or whatever the hell else Trump/Taitz/Judson Phillips want to manufacture). I think time will show that Trump is the one who got played.

The Birfers will not stay quiet, and the Dems will continue to use them to marginalize conservatives. If it works, don’t blame the Dems for it–many conservatives have allowed this to metastasize and the GOP leadership has not, in my opinion, been straightforward in condemning Birferism.

At least RS maintains a no-Birfer policy. It’s one of the very few (only?) conservative web outlets that does.

I understand the argument of “it’s never enough” but the document he released previously was not the original birth certificate. The one he released today was.

If you’re going to release one, why not release both and just put the issue to rest? A recent poll showed only a minority of Americans were “certain” he was born in this country. Clearly, it was really hurting his standing with voters. How did it help him for this issue to get so out of hand?

I’m asking because I don’t understand the political calculation he was making by letting this issue drag out.

    Its a 100% proven forgery.

They goofed and forgot to “flatten layers” in their photoshop. I downloaded the PDF file DIRECTLY from the whitehouse web site, exported the images out of the PDF file (using a PDF image export tool), and then loaded those images into my own photoshop. Here is the screenshot of what I found:

I didn’t get this from some crazy web site. I did this myself. Look at the images I loaded into photoshop (see screen capture)… and see for yourself.

    Then try it for yourself.

NOTE: I suspected it was fraud, but I figured it was unprovable and never dreamed they’d make such a DUMB mistake! All they had to do was hit “flatten layers” and we’d probably not ever known about this being a forgery.

This is even more powerful evidence than the evidence that the Bush Nat. Guard docs were frauds.

  • Rob_McEwen

I’ve scanned thousands of docs in my lifetime. For four years, I was a supervisor over a desktop publishing department… and worked closely with graphic designers and OCR experts… all “hands on”. Then spent years designing web pages… working in photoshop and scanning to PDF all the time… across multiple platforms, multiple software packages, and multiple decades.

What you refer to is science fiction.

When you scan a document, you get one image.

If you ever get more than one image… then it splits it up into tidy squares… or if its interlaces, then you get every other bitmap… stuff like that. (but even that is rare!)

But you don’t ever get ANYTHING like that screens capture.

however, when you take an existing legit document that is someone else’s birth certificate,, scan it, copy over the text with background using the “clone tool”. then scan a separate sheet containing the typed text (from a typewriter) into another layer… Then scan some choice signatures from other docs… but forget to “flatten layers”.. then you get EXACTLY what the whitehouse produced.

Notice too how the original size for some of the signatures in the extra files are HUGE compared to how they render in the composite pdf. This is where they scanned some signatures and stamps in large, resized it to fit properly… but the original image of those signatures is still at the original HUGE scanned size. That should be enough to convince anyone. That does not EVER happen when someone scans an image.

(to believe that, you have to believe that the scanner scanned at a much higher resolution at some of the signatures and date stamps… then magically resized those signs smaller upon compiling these pieces together)

If you believe that, then those national guard docs are also legit!

.. that is, Obama wanted this to go off late this year, or at least to pull a few more GOP candidates into panders to the birthers that could later be used to paint them as idiots and/or bigots.

As it is, I’m pleased that, except for Trump, our candidates have all stayed away from this idiocy.

I do wonder what this story has pushed off the front pages, though. The administration whose guiding principle is ‘don’t let a good crisis go to waste’ sure do appear to have wasted this one.

I do this thing all the time as part of my job. There are *never* layers in the PDF.

And the following NRO quote is laughable:

“What?s not plausible is that the government spent all this time manufacturing Obama?s birth certificate only to commit the laughably rookie mistake of exporting the layers from Photoshop, or whatever photo editing software they are meant to have used.”

THIS administration has shown time and time again it makes rookie mistakes.

That said, my guess is that someone tried to tidy up a scan to eliminate “suspicious smudges” or something and then did forget to flatten the layers.

Or, they deliberately created the sections and left the layers in to get the birthers in yet another tizzy.

    At this point, who cares…

Have to disavow being a fan of M Bolton? Thankfully I’m neither.

Tornado warnings all around. Must save juice for weather alerts. No power since 6am & expected to be out til midnight. Pls pray for me & family in AL & TN.

No, I think all fans of music should disavow being fans of Michael Bolton.

God bless you and the family! Hope everything turns out okay!

That would have added a new kink to the Grand Unified Theory of conspiracy politics.

This site bans birthers. You’re on the bubble.

  • Rob_McEwen

I’m getting tired of the whole thing anyways.

Also, due to the NRO article, I’m trying to keep an open mind that this was somehow caused by software. I would love to see examples scanning software that does this–in this same way. We’ll see. Experts that know more about this than me or anyone else whose posted here should eventually weigh in. That will be interesting.

If its shown that I’m wrong about this, I’ll do one last post saying that I was mistaken. Otherwise, I’ll be happy to “drop it”.

related to typewriter technology, not digitalisation, that I am curious to see if it ,in fact means anything significant.

    This is a curiosity, however.

Damage control of Obey’s destruction of the economy begs our attention much more than the birth certificate. When the country is restored and saved from his ilk, there will be time for scholarly discussion of authenticity.

I look forward to the analysis.

On the following site, there are convincing comments about some newer PDF software products trying to separate b/w & color into separate layers to make the PDF a smaller file size–and to separate out the text for OCR purposes. Some dates and signatures being separated is what made me suspicious. That still seemed fishy. But now I see that I could have easily been wrong about this:

    http://wireupdate.com/video/2011/04/president-obamas-birth-certificate-pdf-has-layers/

Not so proven as I thought! sorry Neil, I stand corrected! your assessment is probably correct!

  • http://www.hakubi.us/ Neil Stevens

So I can cancel my crude in-home attempt to replicate the effect with my own BC. Using old, free tools was making it take, well, forever. :)

  • Rob_McEwen

Yes. Neil was right. My “science fiction” comment was wrong. But, in my defense… what bursted my bubble was the way he phrased this by saying, “necessary in order to scan and PDF the thing.

No this method was not “necessary”. The vast majority of PDFs created worldwide generate one single image. So that set off a “BS” alarm in my head. (and rightfully so)…. such my strong reaction.

He statement could have been just hyperbole to make a point. But, more likely, he probably really meant to say “OCR the things”. He had said that, a lightbulb might have gone off in my head in stead o f a “BS” alarm !

Either way, I do stand corrected.

“a fortune” was spent (per Drudge).

If this is the case, there is something buried somewhere, and it is damaging enough to warrant all we have seen over the last two years. Obama may have been born in Hawaii. Not all people lumped in with “Birthers” are concerned so much with the place of birth, as to whatever else is being hidden.

It certainly appears that somewhere in the genuine documentation is something worthy of going to enormous effort to suppress, and I can’t understand how anyone who considers themselves Conservative would not want to know what that is.

“Barack Obama is going to release his long form birth certificate. For several years now, he has used this issue as a way to paint those who oppose him has crazy, racist extremists.”

Right, the President has used this to paint these people as crazy extremists. C’mon, it’s quite clear that a group of people within your party have been the ones using this issue to try to paint the President as a illegitimate fraud. The man produced his legal certificate years ago – he never had some secret plan to use this to tarnish Republicans. They did it to themselves.

“Of course, once the birth certificate issue is dispatched, will he release his college transcripts? That?s the issue for me.”

I hope you’re being facetious. Who cares about the man’s grades? There are plenty of people who get into Harvard or Columbia with mixed grades – there are many other factors that are looked at when accepting students. And do we really want to make a big deal about this after our last President likely got more than a little bit of help getting into an ivy league school thanks to the status of his father? He got in and he was successful, becoming head of Harvard Law Review. Ridiculous.

“He can?t win on this. Not that I care.”

The only reason I care about about it is because it’s distracting people from issues that actually matter. People who care about this country should care about discussing real issues and not claims made by ill informed people who have no real evidence and just want attention.

    I know its been a long time… but quite frankly… I recant my recant…

Now that many document imaging experts have weighed in… this is clearly a forgery…

AND… the evidence really is 100% this time.

Previously, I put much weight on what I perceived as document layers which I thought were manipulated and couldn’t have happened from scanning software alone.

Next, I discovered that these types of layers CAN be separated out by OCR scanning software. I was wrong in my assumptions that they couldn’t be separate layers… and that made me think that I had jumped to incorrect conclusions and that the document was legit after all. (Hey… before you laugh… this at least shows that I’m willing to let the evidence take me WHEREVER it leads, and am NOT hopelessly biased one way or the other–as many are on both sides of this!)

So what has changed?… besides the fact that there is now more detailed inspection showing many problems that weren’t know about originally….

There are two BIG problems, one of these is DIRECTLY related to the issue of the layers:

    (1) The stamp has a mispelling. The word “THE” is mispelled “TXH” …but no single valid birth certificate from Hawaii has been produced with this same mispelling. This is a misspelling on a rubber stamp… that happens to be in this document and no other one in existence? You’d have to be a fool to believe that is normal. So.. they misprinted one rubber stamp… stamped in on Obama’s certificate… then realized the misspelling and throw that stamp away. Yeah, right!

    (2) But what actually inspired this post is the evidence that the document layers could NOT have been due to OCR scanning software alone. Why? Becasen from OCR scanning software… yes, it is no big deal for the image layers to be of different color modes, and for the gliphs to be of different sizes. But what you’ll NEVER find in regular OCR documents is for one layer to be treated differently in that the single layers was resized and rotated. ROTATED!!!… yet the stamp at the bottom was scaled 34 percent and rotated 90 degrees. No OCR software can accomplish that trick, even ones that do separate portions into different layers w/different color modes to save space and to keep text separate.

PS – this is just the tip of the iceberg… but I focused mostly on that evidence that was specific to overturning the logic that caused my original “recant”. Turns out, I should have stuck to my original assertion and I’d have then been right all along.

Would you kindly drop this issue and move onto substantive differences of policy? Firstly, it’s against site rules to shill for birthers. Secondly, it just makes you look like an obsessive fool. Thirdly, it’s a completely dead issue. Do yourself and the rest of us a favor, and drop the issue.

Your President is laughing at you by the way.

  • Rob_McEwen

That is the 1st time I’ve posted about this in months! I’m NOT obsessing about this. Do an internet search and you’ll see that this isn’t something I discuss on the internet much. Facebook friend me and you’ll see that my facebook posts about this are MONTHS old.

AND… I was 100% on topic for this thread… but I just felt the need to set some things straight where some facts were not in at the time of this discussion.

But I guess RedState isn’t interested in all the facts, right?

And, btw, changing my post above is very offensive and in very poor taste. Have you ever read the commandment about “bearing false witness”??? Kind of a similar action to change something someone posted into something totally different.
