The Mansour Tweets, Herman Cain Takes A Novel Path, and Zealotry #EERS

Tonight on the Erick Erickson Show I’ll delve into the Rebecca Mansour tweets. I also want to hit on Herman Cain on the Sean Hannity Show last night and on the nature of zealotry.

The show starts at 7:05 p.m. ET on WSB. You can listen live at http://wsbradio.com and call in at 1-800-WSB-TALK.

Consider this an open thread.

Erick, just heard the clip of Herman Cain

He’s a big man, especially in comparison to our standard status quo politicians who would rather blow smoke in contemptible lies rather than simply admit that they are in the wrong.

He made me proud, too.

Thanks, Erick

Anyone else heard about the "clean" vote next week on

raising the debt limit or did I just miss this until now? Rep. Scott DesJarlais (TN-4) posted the following on his Facebook page:

“All, it has come to my attention today that next week the House will hold a “clean” vote on raising the debt limit by $2.4 trillion — the amount necessary under the President’s budget to get through the end of 2012. This means no Ryan Budget, no spending cuts, just a vote on whether or not to raise this debt ceiling. How would you like to see me vote on this?”

The woman saith unto him, I know that Messiah cometh (he that is called Christ): when he is come, he will declare unto us all things. (John 4:25)

What are his consitutents saying there?

Just curious on your unofficial observation of the FB feedback he is getting to that question.

“If Congress can do whatever in their discretion can be done by money, and will promote the General Welfare, the Government is no longer a limited one, possessing enumerated powers, but an indefinite one, subject to particular exceptions.” — James Madison
