    From his Web site:

“In the past I have supported a broad approach to immigration reform ? increased border security coupled with a temporary worker program. I no longer do. I?ve been down that road, and it is a dead end.”

Does this mean he renounces amnesty? Or is he merely saying that it is not an option at this time?

would take so much less time and i’d take so much less time thinking about whether these dudes will actually stick to their guns.

Is Don Stenberg really someone behind whom we should want to get? The guy’s run four times already and lost four times. Maybe Bruning isn’t the 100% conservative some may desire, but he’s pretty darn close to it and he’s already won statewide several times.

If there’s one thing we don’t want to do in 2012, it’s relive the mistakes of the 2010 cycle. Deciding to go with our hearts on Angle, Buck, and O’Donnell costs us three Senate seats. Keeping Castle out of the Senate wasn’t all bad, but Lowden and Norton would have made reasonable Senators.

Ben Nelson is on the ropes, but giving Stenberg another bite at the apple is a dumb mistake. Let’s not turn Nelson into the Harry Reid of the 2012 cycle.
