Obama’s “Leadership”

The NRSC has a great new web ad out about Barack Obama’s supposed leadership.

As the Politico reportedyesterday

But Democrats who thought Obama was churlish in his Wednesday White House press conference know that criticism is coming. “The president might as well cancel every golf game, Martha’s Vineyard vacation and fundraiser from here until doomsday because he’s living in a glass White House and Republicans are already throwing rocks,” said a senior congressional Democratic source who described watching Obama’s press conference in bewilderment.

It would be better if the add showed examples of previous strong leaders in times of fiscal or national crisis juxtaposed with Captain Zero’s golf games, or ‘beer summits’ or his self-agrandizing attempts to take credit for the grunt work of others like he did in the OBL assasination.

Maybe conservative candidates will take those actions. This looks like something a typical half hearted RINO woudl put together.

Lead by example. In other words, don’t expect people to work late or cancel vacations if you’re not willing to stay there with them. Your previously scheduled obligations don’t matter, as their plans didn’t matter to you.

A commercial that compares Obama to historical leaders invites the same kind of comparisons of our eventual nominee. This compares Obama’s words to his actions. Just as the campaign will be about comparing Obama’s new promises to his record.

This is ad is stronger than you think, and VERY hart to counter.

mellow out, and do much less damage than this Zero.

For example just from today, here’s yet another from Heritage Foundation:

And what would be the issue there? Conservatives should be fielding a candidate that that has a demonstrable record of proactive leadership. In fact the campaign should demonstrate the sharp contrast that delineates responsibility, accountability and leadership in addition to the philosophical chasm between Captain Zero and the conservative candidate.

    Obama is a failure.

A loser by his own clearly stated goals.

Americans will not tolerate a loser.
