Life experience does not create such an attitude. Life can make one bitter, but it does not in itself foster any sense of Entitlement. This is the result of Good White Liberals telling such a person such a person is entitled to what others earn, by virtue of existing, while GWL’s carve themselves sinecures in Government.

And we all find ourselves in Bundage as a result.

I didn’t understand your “Bundage” until I listened to the recording. Good catch msctex.

I wouldn’t necessarily blame white people for the entitlement mentality. It is a key tenet of black liberation theology and it’s hatred for what Jeremiah Wright calls “rich white people.” The same people Obama so desperately wants to raise taxes on.

However, since black liberation theology is based on Marxism, maybe blaming that white guy is fitting.

She is a trip for sure, or on one.

It won’t be clean and maybe it’ll make her sick, but she can get it.

Freaked out that so many people are agreeing with her.

  • NeoKong

of how a guy like Barack Obama can become a president.
Honest to god you should have take a test and get a license to vote.

    “Land should be free”…..?
I bet if I pull up to her front lawn and pitch a tent and set up a little hibachi grill she might have to re-evalute that opinion.

and I think it’s a big reason why so much crime exists in inner cities. You have “educated” liberals constantly telling this community they’re being screwed and stolen from, that is the reason for their plight. The natural reaction is to try every which way to “stick” it back to the man,

and, like many, find it troubling in many ways but I’ll comment on her ‘romantic’ notion that life in Africa would be better. Since I’ve spent time in remote African villages I’ll share my thoughts on that. Yes, there is a sort of ‘freedom’ in the remote village where people produce their own food and work in co-operation with each other. The concept of ‘this is mine and not yours’ was minimal. The men generally tend the cattle, make the bricks and construct the huts, the women grow the vegetables and prepare the meals, while the children fetch the water, etc. BUT, life is VERY hard. There’s often not enough food to feed everyone every day. People suffer from illness and even die from diseases like polio that were eradicated elsewhere decades ago. During the rainy season there is no access to or from the village as the roads are impassable and frequent mudslides are dangerous. There are no doctors. There are no schools. Infant mortality rates are extremely high. And whatever they cannot produce themselves they simply don’t have. Further, these villages are dying out as many of the young people leave for the cities in search of a ‘better life’ and they never return.
I invite MsMaxy74 to follow her heart and move to Africa. There she can learn how to survive without electricity, running water and ‘personal property’. There she can learn how to survive on 5 or 6 meals a week and be comfortable clothed in only rags, or nothing at all. There she can learn how to be a productive member of society that demands hard work from the individual member for the benefit of the whole. And maybe there she will find the freedom she is looking for.

Put away 25 dollars a week, in 5 years with compound interest you will have between 8 and 11 thousand dollars. Leave your car your home pack up and go live the good life in Africa.

The “they” you keep referring to in you diatribe will not force you to stay and work to support “their” scheme. Good riddance miss don’t let the door hit you on the behind on your way out..

    I didn’t.

until the evil white oppressors, brought their capitalism and Christianity Didn’t you know that? they also had airplanes and dishwashers.

Just a very specific subset of faux do-gooders who realized long ago that there is more than one way to subjugate people. The Good White Liberals are there to ostensibly “help,” while in fact causing almost incalculable damage. It was they who subsidized broken homes, by paying more through Welfare for Fathers who were not present. But you’re right: it is the Black Caucus-types who will proudly tell people like Ms. Maxy to her face what Whitey owes her. Of course, they need to be in office to make it happen. . .

Depending on how high her note is, she could simply stop paying “The Man” and he will foreclose in 6 – 12 months. She could remain in the home during that time, and save all the money. By the time “The Man” comes to kick her to the curb, she should have plenty of money to get to Africa. In fact, she would likely be able to establish her own village with that amount of money. In Africa, life isn’t the only thing that is cheap.

She should also carefully consider where on the continent she wishes to live. I recommend Mogadishu (or points south), in Somalia.

surely their is a lawyer that can file many lawsuits on her behalf and win free rent, water, electricity, car and land. Or she can just vote for Obama again.

  • kattail

She can already get most of those things free: cell phones; internet; rent; schooling; etc. Last I checked my power bill has a fee on it that goes to low income households so they don’t have to pay. That’s a cute one, the government knows they can’t up taxes so they make private industry collect on their behalf. I’m so sick of this mentality I could spit nails.

All of those things she talked about is work. Building a house (I assume from scratch) is work. Growing your own food is work. Getting your own water is work. In the kind of society she envisions, it takes entire communities with everyone working all day, day after day in order to have just the bare minimum to sustain life. And they don’t tolerate someone who doesn’t do their part.

The thing about America is that she is free to sell everything she has, take the proceeds and buy a parcel of land somewhere and do all of those things without needing to have a real job. She can dig a well, farm her own crops, and in the winter when there’s no crop to tend she can maybe have some fun when she’s not weaving cloth to make her own clothes.

That is what life would be like without capitalism, if she’s lucky enough to not live where there’s the kind of central government oppression like in North Korea. Everything is free there, except the people. And if she gets mouthy, she’ll never be seen or heard from again.
