Obama: “If you love me, pass this bill!”

His version of "If you love me, feed my sheep!"

Yes, he is trying to revive the Cult of Personality and make it all about himself.

Seriously. He went there. The President tells a crowd he loves them and if they love him they will help him pass his bill.

51% of Americans do not think the President’s jobs plan will create jobs. The voters of New York just rejected Obama in NY-09. Let’s not even talk about the Nevada Special Election.

This may sound like a cheer and a pep rally. In fact, it could more accurately be described as a desperate cry for help.

Whatever happened to Bo, the dog Barack Obama named after himself? I suspect we’ll start to see more pictures of the President spending more time with his dog. Few others want him.

    After throwing nearly a trillion of my favorite dollars down a rat hole called Stimulus with no long-term benefit, Barry wants us to believe that tossing another half-trillion down the same hole will have a different effect.

    There were SEVERAL articles posted on Yahoo News yesterday that I dove into.
    At least 95% of the comments posted to the stories I saw at that time were OPPOSED to 0bama’s policies.
    Again the few that were in favor were obviously BLIND followers who had no substantive comments suggesting any value to the proposals. Tonight after 5PM I will be able to see all the thumbs-up my comments got in my Yahoo e-mail inbox.
    I believe things may be looking UP for 2012.

    no-Jobs Bill will pass. O’Donnell said that the Senate could take it up but there are already several (D)s saying no. He said Senate can’t originate a revenue bill, but the spending part could be separated from the taxation part, by leaving the revenue part up to the super committee, but the spending part isn’t getting any traction in the Senate either. The House leadership can just whistle and wait. Not our fault, we never got anything from the Senate. All the republicans can say that they liked a lot of the President’s proposals, but his own party in the Senate never brought them up for a vote.

    This reminds me of the game we used to play at sleep away camp when we were children. You’d look at some one and say, “Smile if you love me, honey.” The other person would reply “I love you honey, but I just can’t smile.” First person to crack a smile or laugh lost the game.

    Every idea can be scored by the CBO. This is math. Run it by them and then let us get some competing plans scored. Then, let’s take the best of both with the highest ROI just like I would do in my business.

    You must have missed the Republican Presidential debates where they want to let people die if they don’t have insurance.

    With all this attention to cutting deficits, how do you think that is going to increase jobs?

    There are countless examples worldwide where austerity led to fewer jobs, not more. Greece and Japan would be great examples of that. It seems to Republican plan is to lay off at many government workers as possible, as the infrastructure crumbles, and jobs are sent overseas.

    Elect someone like Perry or Bachman and get ready to start praying, because economic armageddon will be realized.

    When I was young…what did I need health insurance for?
    Heck, I needed MEAL insurance. I remember salvaging potato peelings and frying them up.
    But I was bulletproof. I could eat razor-blade salad and do just fine.
    What 22 year old man needs health insurance? Can afford it..or want it?
    Sometimes in life, it is far cheaper to just pay the danged Doctor if you have a bad razor blade salad. You don’t need him but once in a long time.
    But Insurance companies… they never quit burning money.
    Sometimes, it just doesn’t make any sense to insure.
    If you are dying of cancer…you think an insurance company will agree to take you on for less than the cost of treatment???

    Greece where public sector workers’ wages nearly doubled in last decade. Where it has been spending more than it brings in! THIS is austerity? No wonder we are in trouble, Democrats consider Greece to be a beacon of austerity! LOL
