But we know by know that it is not happening today.

All day long the Palin supporters have been going absolutely nuts over this. They point out to the various inconsistent statements from Sarah Palin herself that would take a Palinologist to decipher.

She said September would be the drop dead date.

Now October.

But wait, she didn’t say she would announce by the end of September. She said she would decide. She could decide, but not announce.

Today, on twitter, if you follow my feed, you will see a variety of people who are so wrapped up in the Cult of Palin that they can not handle what we here at RedState have done today.

We haven’t attacked. We’ve just pointed out Govenror Palin’s own statements from July and August that September would be her “drop dead date.”

And the apoplectic response has been instructive into the very serious mental degeneration of Palin’s supporters as she has continued to string everyone along.

But who knows. Maybe she’ll announce in this hour. If not, I’m going all the way to 4:00 a.m. because only then will it be midnight in Wasilla.

    Pointing out what she said and the fact that she didn’t announce anything today is perfectly fine. Posting snide little needles every hour on the hour all day is an attack, whether you choose to admit it or not.

    And if you caught me in your anti-Palin “mental degenerate” trap, then you definitely cast too wide of a net. And as someone who has been a huge fan of RedState, that makes me sad, very sad.

    Up until a few weeks ago, I was as vocal supporter of Palin as anybody. Now I’m getting a little fed up with all these silly games. I was attracted to Palin, not for her charisma or star power but because her message was my message. Now the messenger is eclipsing the message and she is turning into a cult of personality herself. Thank you Sarah but I’ve had quite enough of our current “messiah” and I will not vote for another, even one from the right.

    To embed a video that you want to embed, look a the bar below the video.
    You will see ?share?.
    Click on that.
    Let that load.
    A little lower to the left, you will see embed.
    Click on that.
    Let that one load.
    Lower you will see some boxes of various sizes.
    Click on the smallest one.
    Above the boxes is a list of items.
    Click on ?use old embed code?, and make sure none of the other boxes are checked.
    Above that you will see httlm code, and if it is all in blue, right click in the box, and select copy.
    If it is not in blue, right click in the box, click select all, and it will make it blue,
    then right click and select copy.
    To put it in the comment box, right click in the comment box, and click paste.

    First, once you find the video on youtube, click on embed. If it allows embedding, make sure you click on “use old code” and choose one of the two smallest sizes. I usually use the second one unless the thread I am posting to is quite lengthy which causes this screen to become smaller and smaller, In that case I chose the smallest one so my video edge does not get cut off.

    Once you have checked those options, copy the code. Come back to this site. Open up a second tab and again go to redstate on it, On your second tab, open up the link “create new diary” which is at the top of the screen right under the redstate banner.

    Paste your copied youtube link to the diary box. Once that is done highlight it just as if you are going to copy it again. Make sure that your diary is set to HTML not visual. You can check that at the top right corner of the diary box. Once you have hTML set and the code you copied from youtube highlighted, click on the word code. It will add the necessary HTML wrap codes to the code you provided making the video come to life when you post that code.

    Now copy the new code, post it on your original tab that you are about to make a post on. The video will be there.

    Even Gingrich admitted this thing’s just getting started. The internet has changed all old-skool rules, and Palin could still run and raise money should she choose to.

    However, I would think she would have a tough time convincing anyone that she is seriously needed at this point. Perry, Gingrich, Cain, Rubio, Jindal and others could easily debate Obama. Those I didn’t mention can’t win.

    Are they working now for The Hill or Roll Call, studying the seating arrangements in Palin family portraits or campaign photos?

    I feel sorry for Palin supporters at this point. Someone posted this on the Citizens 4 Palin site:

    “I’ve been thinking about the Governor’s interview at the Iowa State fair when she first mentioned not wanting to ‘string her supporters along’ and said by the end of September would be an appropriate time frame to ‘let them move on with their lives’…I think she meant, if she wasn’t going to run she’d let us know by then (now) – but if she’s going to run, she’s NOT stringing us along at all.
