EDITOR OF REDSTATE

It is 8pm. Maybe She’ll Do It On O’Reilly

Still hasn’t happened.

I am reminded of this:

Consider that of all the candidates, Sarah Palin has the least excuse for her dithering. Unlike Perry, Bachmann, and Paul, Palin hasn’t had a job with official duties for the last two-plus years. All the other quasi-retired or term-limited candidates have long ago declared. Even Jon Huntsman was serving as ambassador to China as recently as April; and by the way, Huntsman has a larger family than Palin does. I get that deciding whether to run for President is a difficult decision; however, the Presidency is a job of difficult decisions, and if it has legitimately taken Sarah Palin over two years to decide whether to even start the process of becoming President, then she is unfit for the job.

Eric does not want Palin to run as much as I don’t want Christie to run.

Palin is extremely effective in connecting with voters. Why is Erick going out of his way to rub her nose in this? Is it possible Erick ends each of his posts cracking up over how funny he is? And so Palin supporters are passionate about her. So are Ron Paul supporters. At the end of the day though we’re going to need both to ensure Obama is defeated. I strongly believe she will not run, however I certainly hope that she works to elect the eventual candidate. But with all the hate from the right I wouldn’t blame her for a moment just to sit the whole thing out.

    This obsession isn’t healthy.

It’s a tough thing to say but you’re correct. I expect you to be tough against Romney, I expect you to be tough against practically everyone who is running on our side. You’re independent, I’m independent (nobody gets any money from me or thinks I have any influence) and you’re correct.

Sarah Palin is a beautiful, amazing person, and most people like her family. She’s coming into her own as a news commentator. She’s taken a lot of really undeserved abuse and she’s been pretty gracious considering all of it. I personally hope she’s successful in her lawsuit and Random House has to pay her as many millions of dollars as they’ll settle for. We’ve all followed this awful story for years.

But precisely for some of those reasons, the core issue to me is whether I want her to be the President or Vice President and on both of those questions I have to answer “no.”

    Whilst autumn night falls

    hope flares right up to.

No matter how much you might like Sarah Palin personally or consider her tenure in Alaska to be wonderful and wise (and there are a lot of people here who I respect that don’t), and everything she’s done after that to be wonderful and wise, the fact is that everything that has happened will be stuck to her like superglue all the way through her campaign. With feathers hanging off, and superglue all over the place.

And we have much, much, much more important issues to talk about than Sarah Palin’s family’s problems with the mainstream media.

In a sense they’ve won. But it’s a Pyrrhic victory. Palin loses absolutely nothing by not trying to carry it one step too far this time, and all her media assailants lose their favorite target and have to go back to the drawing board.

There is no text to convey the moronic stupidity of his posts. And no, I am not a Palin supporter. At least not for the past couple of months. She won’t run, can’t run, and at this point, who cares?

    We GET THE POINT.

Erick took 10 minutes to set this up, and that’s all it took to get you folk in a frothing rage all day.

Erick you need to look in a mirror and ask the question..”why am I losing readers”. Dude, your making a big mistake in trying to pick a fight and a fight you will not win. I don’t come by here much and this is a reason why. You make RedState your personal platform to dish crap at anyone who you disagree with. The Palins have been through more than you will ever want to happen to you and your family. You shouldn’t wish that on anyone. The Lady from Wasilla will never march to YOUR drum. Get over it. Your radio program and you little stay at CNN has really given you the big head. You couldn’t stand the heat that Sarah has had to endure. Yea, I’m a Palin fan but “you ain’t right”. I’m out of here.

If I had your computer capabilities, I could set up a program to flame you with, say, 1000 emails an hour. Would you be any less upset with me if I used the excuse that “it only took 30 seconds for me to set this up.” Of course not. Erick knew what he was doing and knew exactly what would post and when. Of course, he has the perfect right to do just what he did, but every post is on him whether it took him long to set it up or not.
