EDITOR OF REDSTATE

Jason Mattera Detonates Hollywood

Over the weekend we saw American songwriter and rapper Cee Lo Green headline a fundraiser for Barack Obama in Atlanta. Never mind the fact that the Left continues to lecture us about civility in the midst of Green singing the unedited version of his song, “Fu*** You,” while flipping off the crowd. The presence of this popular artist headlining an Obama rally shows once again how the Hollywood elite will try to sell President Obama to us in 2012 just like they did in 2008. As my buddy Jason Mattera reveals in his brand-new book Hollywood Hypocrites: The Devastating Truth About Obama’s Biggest Backers, there is an extensive power nexus between Tinseltown and the Obama reelection campaign. Conservatives may not realize just how deeply entwined the two are.

Jason writes, “The same Hollywood loons who got Obama elected will do so again. That is, unless we muzzle them. How? Not the way the Left tries to do, by silencing dissent. But by putting their political stances and public statements under the microscope of scrutiny to analyze whether they live by the same policy prescriptions they seek to inflict on America.”

Buy Hollywood Hypocrites today. You won’t look at Springsteen, Bon Jovi, Bono, Harrison Ford, Arianna Huffington, and many more A-list celebrities the same.

I certainly could not have a lower opinion of that bunch of scum suckers than I do now.

I don’t agree with their politics I must give them credit for a coule of things:

Bono puts his money where his mouth is in the support of AIDS research and gives large kudos to “W” Bush for his support and chastises the “do nothing” Obama administration.

Mr. Ford has donated his time and effort by flying several rescue missioins using HIS OWN AIRCRAFT and gas, requesting nothing in return.

Let’s give a little credit where credit is due. They are quite talented entertainers and have done some good things but politically they are a waste of skin.

    Jason,
If you are reading this please note:

Buy a billboard ( I found one for 2500 for a month along a major interstate in a top 10 city with a 110,000 daily car count) and we will give. From just 8 people I have 800 dollars to go towards a billboard that calls out Stephanopolous, Lauer/Liar, Sawyer, et al.
Challenge them— call them out. They are lying, covering and aiding Democrats and destroying Republicans. Time to point it out to average non-politicos sitting in traffic eating their egg McMuffins.

The media are Obamas fuel. Disrupt the fuel supply and he sputters. Breitbart would approve!!!

Rush and Hank Williams Jr. should repeat word for word for what those 2 did but start things off announcing they will be mocking Hanks and Frey upfront.

spinmeisters for cover like real politicians do– and their reputations and IMAGE are everything; therefore, they are SITTING DUCKS for a campaign that targets their stupid hypocrisy—i see this as a real winner going into the election if we can trumpet this with ads or stories or whatever—-they may think twice about opening their pieholes and pontificating on politics as if we give weight to their opinions just because of who they are. –we need to embarass them with their stupidity, Alinsky-like and they are easy targets…..We need to constantly point out with ridicule who they are is a group of people who get paid to pretend they are someone else — expose their stupidity–Matt Dumbkopf DAMON & H. ZINN for example–ideas fr strategy???

so ripe so overdue so PAINFUL to their overblown egos. We need to cow them into silence. Let their ignorance exposed to all shut them up

Stars and Media I will not pay for,and willingly watch grows almost weekly, it seems.
Hanks puzzles me the most. Even to the point of partially financing “Private Ryan” you’d expect better, but then to listen to him on talk shows and similar. You’d never know they were the same guy.
Sad to say, but he’s on the list. I’m done. My wife loves him and avoids anything poitical to the point of MEGO. so it’s out the door [for moi’} when he’s schticking, on the box

I cannot understand why Americans support Mr. Obama after the dregs of entertainment Maher and this wierdo offend most every American with their ever-so-trendy filth.

I guess it’s that so many pathetic humans want to be a part of something, be popular with their peers that they accept this crap.

Our presidency is lower than when Nixon was rambling around the White House and even lower than when Clinton was enjoying the sexual fruits of being the commander-in-chief and taking advantage of interns.

Bono has fought for years to keep from paying his fair share of taxes. While telling us how we should spend our tax money. He is using his notoriety for personal gain. Besides I could write his songs. Let me see there is “yeah” and “Yeah” well that seems to be it. Being a singer, actor, or any other model, celebrity in no way qualifies anyone to a special vision about politics. They just buy influence like the huge corporations you probably hate. If you claim to be a liberal you get more work in tinsel town. Claim your a conservative you don’t .

Having people on camera worshiping you for saving their life doesn’t hurt your box office.
