Assuming Brian Heffron is a product of the LA educational system, I can reasonably conclude that the quality of education provided by that system is in dire straits. That Mr. Heffron condescends to the grammar skills of RedState induces considerable irony:

Mr. Heffron (nee Hoffner) need not know the term non sequitur; being a liberal, it is simply one of his inherent/default debate tactics.
