Wisconsin Democrats’ Divided House

The Wisconsin Democratic Party had scheduled a unity rally the day after tomorrow.

Tomorrow, Democrat voters will go to the polls to pick a candidate to put up against Scott Walker in the Wisconsin gubernatorial recall. Well, it seems the preferred candidate isn’t going to win and the Democrats have said to heck with unity.

The Unity Rally is cancelled. It won’t happen. There will be no unity from the party leadership on down. It’s every man and union goon for themselves as they try to unseat Scott Walker.

What’s the matter? Well, it seems the preferred candidate, Kathleen Falk, may not win and the candidate the unions don’t care for, Tom Barrett, does not want to be seen in their presence. While the acrimonious primary has unfurled, voters have decided they just don’t really care any more and any major enthusiasm for a recall is gone.

It’s not like a majority were ever really in favor of recalling Walker. Remember those Senate recalls that didn’t quite go as planned except for the one guy having the affair? Yeah, about the only good thing to come out of this recall is the unions spending all their money on this effort and still losing.

I would assume someone in Wisconsin will be getting pictures of the location at the time and place of the scheduled rally…

I understand the taxpayers of Wisconsin are about to spend 16 million dollars (8 million per round of elections) on the recall elections. Sixteen million dollars the tax payers did not need to spend.

The pictures, the video will make for good news coverage on the new media and great advertisements in June and in November.

Union labor is spending poor. Here’s to them being out of money for November where they will lose legislative and congressional seats across the nation. And Obama is kicked out! Union power will continue to wane in private sector and will be gutted from the public sector under a Republican administration. Time to bury the SEIU.

And the sun is out.. gosh, birds chirping in Alaska…
And the Democrat Dog & Pony show being canceled… lol!

I have been praying that our worst enemies will turn on each other and destroy themselves from within and that is exactly what it sounds like is happening in Wisconsin. Hahahahaha!

Just Sayin’ ya got to wait til the June election is over to put on the happy face. Until then, all handson deck to stop a Unionist Coup D’Etat.

BTW, you want to know the difference between the left and the right. Found this on the Daily Kos article:

” We deserve better than this b******* from the establishment running the party. Tom Barrett, Kathleen Falk, and the Democratic Party of Wisconsin need to come clean… Right F******* NOW!”

… they dont bleep their expletives.

The venality, the anger and self loathing, the cognitive dissonance. It must be a real drag being a lefty.

How much fun did Socialist/Communist dictators really have?

And humorlessness is still the hallmark of the left-wing, although I suppose they think having the doubleplusunfunny Maher and Stewart and Colbert on their side would disprove that.

A good amount of self-pollination takes place in front of their smokey distorted mirrors of philosophy allowing them to ignore basic facts, e.g. decades of proof that socialism/communism does not work!

12 A naughty person, a wicked man, walketh with a forward mouth.
    13 He winketh with his eyes, he speaketh with his feet, he teacheth with his fingers;
14 Forwardness is in his heart, he deviseth mischief continually; he soweth discord.
15 Therefore shall his calamity come suddenly; suddenly shall he be broken without remedy.

Interesting the use of the word “forward” …I think I’ve heard that used elsewhere recently. And this post reminded me of verse 15.

    WooHoo! Go Walker!!

Since when do unions have the right to strike a government entity and throw the country into disarray?

We are not a socialist country like France, where the unions can bring the entire country to a halt.

Unions of government workers are a bane on society and serve no useful purpose. In fact they are malingerers, wreckers, and thugs.

SIEU are a bunch of pigs who care nothing of the state or our nation, they only care about their own gluttony, not wanting to give anything when the rest of us are giving about all we have. So, SOOEY should be their name.

will now be ‘special assessed’ and pay more,Unwillingly.

Being out of money as ‘beafrank’ states so eloquently puts it, just ain’t gonna happen until the futility of Being Progressive teaches all members, in time’s fullness….

Or when they get their final tally regarding Pay-Outs, on December 31st…. 2/1/2013 at the latest. The Very Large RatHole will become as apparent, as the hole in their wallets.

On another tact ,AIN’T THIS GREAT?? Truly, an up-close and personal take on everyone having “their own personal truth…..”
Loved the tail end of The Daily Kos’ scolding when announcing this funk-up. Link it and see in all it’s glory, the infantile scribblings of children. Who really does this stuff…?

    2) Can’t eat Cornflakes, ’cause someone beat you to the box and put some naughty in there.

    3) You have to learn Objective, moral thought at such a late age. Depressingly, many times it never occurs.

    4) All the real friends you could make, but never will ,’cause you simply can’t stand ‘some people’.

5)Finding out you cannot give blood because you have “…entirely too much Venom …”, flowing through you.

A pot Of Dnk’n Donuts, ground fine by me and I’m really rarin’ to go out and wail on some poor unfortunates……

Yeah, right…….I like it right here……

  • soljerblue

the first person to suggest this by a long shot…but if Scott Walker can keep his seat in a blue-to-purple state after the all-out war against him by the DNC and the public unions, maybe Romney ought to consider him for VP.

I dunno — what do you guys think?

  • Ausonius

    3) You have to learn Objective, moral thought at such a late age. Depressingly, many times it never occurs.

This reminded me of a former student, a big MAObama fan, who supports the Hell-th Care Bill because “Obama’s intentions are in the right place.”

Let us postulate that the former student’s assumption is correct. That idea is irrelevant if the result is immoral, e.g. taking away or at least infringing upon basic rights to give health care to those who cannot afford basics.

And yet…to the feeling, to the emotional types who just have to “feel good” about an issue, that immorality is something to be brushed aside because that poor homeless person down by the bridge now can get a “free” bed at the hospital: they ignore that Freedom of Religion and Freedom of Speech have been infringed upon and reduced as a result.

It has been remarked that Republicans are too often all about evidence and logic, while the Dems appeal to people’s emotions. Hence the “gender gap” and a country run too often by leftists pushing an emotional message, while their logic pushes us into ruin.

  • garfieldjl

Conservatives will usually use appeals to logic, while we probably are correct, people are often more apt to go with their emotions instead of logic.

One of the reasons I believe Ronald Reagan was able to clobber Carter in 1980 and then win re-election in 1984 is that he could tie emotion and logic together and use both.

  • Ausonius

    Precisely!

There is a reason why Mr. Spock is not the captain. :) Both sides of the brain must be appealed to.

Team Romney needs to understand that, and might be showing signs of doing so already.

The key is not to have it melt into “Neo-Compassionate Conservatism” i.e. more Leftism/Socialism.

  • http://www.BillBowenAuthor.com RightinSanFrancisco

Yes, we are lucky that the Dems are divided and that Walker’s reforms have had enough time to show up in property tax reductions, but job growth has not been good and the fat lady hasn’t sung yet. If you have any friends in Wisconsin, tell them to get off of the couch.
