Air Force Waaaaaaaaaaahhhhh

Air Force One turned to Air Force Waaaaahhhh yesterday in Atlanta. Barack Obama tied up lunch time traffic in the Peach State once again while he milked it for money. During a public speech, President Obama formally abdicated his role as Commander in Chief to become Chief Victim. Those dirty Republicans are outspending him, he cried to a sympathetic audience.

In fact, this may be the first time Barack Obama has ever been outspent and he just can’t handle rejection.

In 2008, the Annenberg Public Policy Center reported that Barack Obama outspent John McCain 3 to 1 and “raised more money than anyone in the history of U.S. politics.”

Turn about would be fair play except the present President has the temperament of a four year old and the skin of an onion. Consequently, he is forced to whine.

The simple truth is that rich leftists have not continued being rich leftists by being stupid. Even rich leftists will not throw good money after bad. People are, right now, voting with their wallets to reject Barack Obama and the trend will, hopefully, continue.

Bluntly, had Barack Obama not spent the past three years implementing policies that lowered the standard of living of many of his most ardent supporters, his supporters might have more money to give.

Now he’ll just tour the country whining.

…has been tested by internal polling to ignite a portion of his electorate.

I would not be dissuaded from recognizing the potency of the Chicago Operation, which apparently is profiling each individual BHO-voter…to dovetail with its ground-operation.

In PA’s collar-counties, I’m trying to prompt GOP-leaders to muster an army of voter/photo-ID monitors, to be committed as teams of a half-dozen activists to check each/every inner-city voter…notwithstanding the inability of non-Philadelphians to become credentialed as poll-watchers.

We can hope for a landslide [with Romney winning fly-over America, for starters], but we must prepare for a squeaker…because BHO could pull-off an October Surprise [such as a measured anti-Tehran military action].

I recently managed to miss Obama’s visit to Philadelphia. Only because I avoid the expressway like the plague. I zipped right by the art museum, around the circle and past the institute, almost no traffic at all.

Of course, that is because the police had shut down roads miles from center city so that the Presidents motorcade could enter the city unimpeded. The shut down occurred right about 5:00.

Philadelphia has the worst regional highway system of any major city in the country. One poorly designed over used road north and south, and a worse highway east and west. That’s it. Of course these highways converge just north of the Philadelphia Airport. What is a 25 minute drive during the night, is an ninety minute commute during the day, assuming no accidents and no precipitation.

So, I was home relaxing when the breaking news indicated that there was some relief for those stuck for hours in traffic.

He attended three functions that day. A $250 a person event, a $10,000 a plate dinner and a $40,000 dollar per person private roundtable.

Philadelphia can’t keep it’s libraries open but the rich and elite can afford this kind of money to hob nob? Someone needs to caculate the carbon foot print of the President’s visits. It had to have cost millions of dollars in squandered gas spent idling, in police expenses, in lost productivity, in businesses sales.

What ever gains he made with the few rich power elite you can be sure that everyone in the suburbs got a real good lesson in what it means to vote democrat.

Obama is like some great warlord, he comes to visit every so often and ransacks your peasant’s villages, then asks for money to go away. It is like a protection racket. If you donate enough I won’t need to come back.

go with his whine and let’s hurry up and get rid of him. It has become beyond sickening to listen to the lies that are coming out of this administration as he continues to threaten the Supreme Court, protect the lying, conniving, Liar Holder, weaken America in the eyes of the world, buy votes by allowing our country to be flooded with illegals who take our jobs and drain our resources, give more money to more businesses who in turn promise to support him but have nothing marketable to manufacture, give more money to people who are actively trying to kill us…the list goes on.
He was never presidential material, he hasn’t grown into the job and now he just needs to be given the boot.

  • funwithknives

Sometimes , truth is a wonderful thing. I have exclaimed this very statement to all and sundry, paying special attention to any of The Blue Persuasion. Much scoffing and snorting resulted.

Lately though, not so much. Realities are such great levelers, and nowadays it would seem Financial Realities are the largest of them.

So let us give Credit to where Credit is due. Barry Is really good at one topic…..and That is:
    Unintended Self-Destruction.

Did he ‘know more than his advisors’ in this regard? We’ll wait for The Inevitable Book.
    Who’ll ghost-write that one?

“In 2008, the Annenberg Public Policy Center reported that Barack Obama outspent John McCain 3 to 1 and ?raised more money than anyone in the history of U.S. politics.?”

The subtext of Obama’s whining is that money buys elections. If so, what does that say about his election in 2008?

  • hart65

Great points, thanks. Re the T&F idea, on second thought, Obama’s ego reminds me of the lying thief who was so dispatched and when asked what he thought of the experience he replied “It was pretty awful, except for the honor of the thing.”

As mentioned on FNC this morning, Dear Leader is raising funds for his own campaign. At the same time he is also raising funds for the DNC, which supports and benefits his campaign as well as others across the country.

The thrust of the FNC commentary was that Dear Leader’s campaign might be limiting their count to solely those funds raised specifically for the campaign, while excluding the DNC funds.

…I concur with your recollection of how BHO’s presence will predictably paralyze regional traffic-flow.

[I-95 and the Schuylkill Expressway don't converge @ the bridges--Platt @ Girard-Point, respectively--because the latter actually extends eastward, over the Walt Whitman Bridge. And, thanx to the Blue Route, there is a jerry-built "beltway" structure that allows for a multitude of alternatives for someone living in the northeast to travel towards the southwest. When the interchange between the turnpike and I-95 has been constructed, additional impediments will be eased...such as the desire of people living in the southwest to travel to the northeast.]

Regarding the potential for Philly’s potential to experience a renaissance, the potential for an impending indictment of an incumbent congressman [whose son has already been fingered] could trigger a change in assumptions, particularly if an Independent candidate can receive sufficient attention. Meanwhile, efforts to decrease fraud could facilitate flipping the 13th District…and the three other collar-county incumbents should have an easier time than in ’10.

    Hope springs eternal…but $-support [particularly for Joseph Rooney, who is opposing Allyson Schwartz in NE-Philly and Eastern-MontCo] would be helpful. {As it has been said, “Praise the Lord…but pass the ammo!”}

  • eheassler

Why does the President think he need’s a motorcade to do three fundraisers? He practically brings large cities to their knees while he is bilking, er, milking them for donations. Of course, the city is expected to eat the overtime, lost work time, and extraneous costs of his visit. For the privilege of having him inconvenience half the city at taxpayer expense. Bush may have looked dopey, but he was in no way as arrogant as the Illegal-In-Chief currently joyriding around in Air Force One.

Quinnipiac 27 June 2012 Romney down by 6 points in Pennsylvania – voters split on economy (how does that happen?) -

Matching Obama against Romney in each of these key states – no one has won the White House since 1960 without taking at least two of them – shows:

    Florida: Obama edges Romney 45 – 41 percent;
    Ohio: Obama over Romney 47 – 38 percent;
Pennsylvania: Obama tops Romney 45 – 39 percent.

June 27, 2012 – Florida, Ohio, Pennsylvania Swinging To Obama, Quinnipiac University Swing State Poll Finds; Voters Back President On Immigration, Split On Economy

  • commonsenseobserver

    I can’t download the docs.

But it’d be interesting to compare Obama’s stop-gap immigration policy with Mitt’s long-term strategy in the polls.

  • commonsenseobserver

    Than in OH???

  • acat

Ace of Spades poll-watcher CAC makes the same point… only moreso.

Surely, Quinnipiac can’t be that terribly off anyway. I mean, with Michigan averaging a tossup, Oregon about a six point lead for the President, and Wisconsin a scant three pointer for him, it is totally reasonable to say Ohio is better for Obama than Oregon, Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania, right?

    Something wrong with QPAC.

Q-Poll today has Dems plus 8 which matches the 2008 election…sorry not going to happen today! As well, the Q-Poll they took in May which had Obama up by 3 or 4 had the Dems at plus 4…so Q-Poll skewed the Dems and additional 4 points the poll…So Q-Poll is junk….as well again they used Registered Voters as well which will always favor Dems. So Q-Poll skewed again Dems 8 points in this poll. Remember Ohio has Republican Gov, House and Senate….2008 model will not work….Q-Poll goofed badly here.

As well, PPP which also leans Dem came out with new poll for Ohio and OBAMA’S LEAD has dropped from 7 percent to 3 in their latest poll….47/44 over Romney again with Registered Voters….AGAIN Obama’s support dropped and PPP’s sample reflects a undersampling of Independents and has parity to a degree with D/R split.

So Q-Poll on Ohio is out….as for Penn that is a drop for Obama and in Florida..again a slight slant to Dems which would give you 4 points and again Q-Poll using Registered Voters.

If you look at Likely Voters polls in Michigan, Ohio, Vir, Wis and others Romney and Obama are tied or Romney slightly ahead. Likely Polls are the ones that matter!

  • tnfriendofcoal101368

On a post I am doing for the morning briefing but the poll really doesn’t say what CNN says it does. It shows Obama at 45 in Pennsylvania and Ohio and 44 in Florida. This is Obama’s ceiling. Trust me Ole Axe isn’t too comfortable seeing himself at 45 in Pennsylvania. Undecideds always break against the incumbent (they have made the decision to fire him) unless the challenger pulls a John Edwards.

  • earlgrey

It really wasn’t all that shocking when the Edwards thing came out. sort of telling how we know more about these politicians character than we think we do.

So much dishonesty! The state of this country lies directly at the feet of criminals Bush/Cheney/Rove/Rumsfeld. The state of this country cannot improve because of the current treasonous congress and the fascist form of government accelerated in during the aforementioned criminals’ reign. Too many Americans parrot what they hear on the likes of FOX news who spin, lie, and spread propaganda to the detriment of our country. Too many Americans will not face the facts, or for that matter, do not know the facts because they are too lazy or ignorant to become honestly informed. They make faulty and dishonest judgements based on racist feelings, prejudice, hatred, and transference, The agenda from DAY ONE of the Obama administration: to stymie the President, no matter what; even to the downfall of our government.
  • commonsenseobserver

Tell that to the millions of good and decent Americans who never got a fair shot under this administration.

  • jude68

Maybe a good trip to NASA would help to get back to planet earth. The prejudice, hated and racism comes from the LEFT!!! People on the right dislike Obama because HE IS A HORRIBLE President!! Lies….excuse me no one needs FOX or anyone else to tell you how bad the economy is!! Millions cannot find work…..this Administration is using the EPA to kill job creation, drive the cost of living up and attack capitalism. Obama’s answer to everything is class warfare, class envy, divide and conquer and blantant pandering. Who are you kidding?? Our country is a TOTAL mess under this man.

It is always the left that uses the race card….and they attack business and investment…yet only through business and hard working individuals can job growth take place and income rise. Obama has NOT A SINGLE CLUE on how to create jobs. And no one needs any news organization to tell you that. YOU SEE IT EVERY DAY IN LIFE!!

  • tnfriendofcoal101368

Seriously, this is sad…Markos must really be desparate to find some trolls, if this is the best DKos can come up with. It’s all Bush’s fault blah, blah, blah. Fox News brainwashed Americans blah, blah, blah. Racism blah, blah, blah. What you miss is that for more than 50% of the Obama Presidency, Democrats had a filibuster proof majority in the Senate and a large majority in the house. The passed OCare without a Republican vote; they passed a stimulus that liberal icon Jeffery Sachs admitted stimulated nothing without a Republican vote. They didn’t bring up immigration reform or Buffet Rules because it wasn’t important, but keep on believing. Nothing is sweeter than watching a Dem lose…

And the opening ad is classic: Barack Obama most arrogant man in the world.

  • jude68

One thing you note from all the polls, including more favorable Registered Voter Polls, you see Obama really does not get over 47 percent. That is not good at all for an Incumbent at all. He is know to everyone. And history clearly shows undecideds break away from the Incumbent to the Challenger. In fact, it is about 1 in 8 that an Incumbent may pull out of the undecideds. He is def hitting that 43-46 in Likely Voter polls and that is not good at all for an Incumbent and Axelrod knows this as any person who looks at this data!

  • tnfriendofcoal101368

“No Democrat who loses Michigan or Pennsylvania will sit in the White House” – James Carville explaining why he doesn’t include those a “Swing States”. His definition of Swing state is a state you might win or lose and still win the election. In his definition, Michigan and Pennsylvania aren’t swing states, there must haves for the Democrat.

  • jude68

I laugh when you mention CNN. Outside of Airports who watches CNN anyway??…LOL!! See ratings plummet even more!!

But on another note…I mentioned Q-Poll skewed Ohio by plus 8 to the Dems….(by the way did CNN celebrate PPP showing Obama losing support in Ohio in their poll released today??? And shocking PPP actually used a more relevant sample!!! There quote Obama losing support…lol….Q-Poll’s Brown acting like Obama improving after he slanted 8 point to the Dems…come on!! PPP for the first time stood out as being fair!)

Now if Q-Poll had skewed the poll to plus 8 Repub in Ohio and slightly in Florida would CNN or anyone else in MSM think it was a “good poll” or valid poll?? NOT!!

Q wanted to create the headline and that is what they had….by the way the Florida poll matched one they did a few days earlier which also slanted slightly to the Dems….Surprise! Surpirse!

CNN should focus on that 43-47 percent approval number for Obama and see that ceiling!

I have just stopped listening to any speech he gives. I wait and listen to the TV personalities go over his speeches word by word and interpret them. Of course if you listen to the MSM you would get the impression that he gave a great speech, but if you listen to say Fox or just wait till you can read it for yourself you realize he keeps saying the same old thing or nothing at all or he just whines.
Apparently, Democrats think I?m supposed to be more angry about what Mitt Romney does with his money than what Barack Obama does with mine.
The skunk has replaced the Eagle as the new symbol for the President. It is half black, half white, and everything it does stinks.

  • ihateliberals

The Obama campaign has no clue what damage they are dong to the President by creating such Chaos with his visits. i don’tcare if you are Democrat or Republican people don’t like their Rush hour traffic messed with. whoever or Whatever causes a backup and a delay in getting home or to work their name is Mud. It is bad enough that the inept Secret Service has to block off so many roads but to do it in the peak of Rush hour is just stupid. I guess since the President has never been a real person and having to abide by real laws he has no clue how he is pissing people off? i grew up and live in and ran a business in the DC area and I can’t tell you how many hours were loss due to just stupid things happening on the road. But one thing that hasn’t happened is the total shut downof the highways just becasue the President is coming. My son is a police officere in Northern VA. He rides a motorcycle and whenthe President is coming to the Pentagon or anywhere in the NVA area his group is assigned the escort duty. His job is to race to the next intersectin and block traffic while the motorcade passes by. That’s it that’s all the blocking that occurs so why whenin a city like Philly or Poe-dunk Ark. do they have to shut everything down for miles. Doesn’t make sense.

Now as to the Whining, Obama has the dubious privilege of being the Chief Whiner of the Democratic Party. That use to be Pelosi while Bush was in office but she is a nobody now. By loudly Whining about how bad the mean old Republicans are he can get more sympathy for the 18-30 year old’s. for the most part they are the Whining class anyway so that is what they respond too. They also most likely are in college and don’t drive so the traffic jams don’t bothere them and for the environmentalist the more you have cars stopped the better off the environment is. That of course is vdery wrong thinking since sitting in traffic burns much more fuel than moving. Who would have thought they weren’t that smart?

  • Common_Cents

Also, the narcissist in chief, has he EVER shown up to a press conference/announcement/briefing on time? EVER?

He has been over an hour late numerous times , keeping the media waiting while they twiddle their thumbs making excuses. I kinda love it that he disrespects the media that carries so much water for him. hahaha That’s what you get losers!

  • jdobbins

Instead of crying about being outspent, Obama should set up a lemonade stand outside the White House. To satisfy Michelle and Mayor Bloomberg he could offer one-ounce cups so people don’t get so much sugar, and he should put His Obama logo on the cup and charge $10 apiece. Wonder how much money he would raise?

When a president tells his wealthy donors that he is going to turn the middle class against them, does he really expect them to donate more money to his campaign?

    I didn’t think so.
