RedState Gathering 2012: The Agenda #RSG12

The RedState Gathering starts tomorrow — well really Friday morning. Ted Cruz of Texas will kick us off Friday and Governor Rick Scott is going to join us for a cruise down the St. Johns River that evening.

There is still time to register. Go to www.redstategathering.com if you are interested. In the meantime, on Twitter we’re using the hashtag #RSG12.

Really enjoy getting a chance to meet all of you guys, and of course, hearing so many great conservatives is a great experience as well.

    Thanks for doing this, Erick!

Erick, I appreciate you finally getting this thing posted. My wife was going bonkers you know cause she is such a planner. See you guys tomorrow >:))

My thoughts and prayers will be with you all, and please to not forget to pray and give thanks at RSG12. Prayer and self government go together. Churches’ self government showed the Puritan and dissenters the way. Policy making and the Lord as guide in a community context was the way. John Adams never wrote a law without consulting the Bible.

I hope next year for one addition to the lineup, a panel for school choices. Like a professional meeting have people who have started private schools, charter schools and who know how and what to do share their experiences.

One educator can give a paper and another be the critic. The audience can of course participate in a Q and A on the issues surrounding private school choices. The school choice panel and offshoots would be similar to a trainning session in that it involves the panel and audience intereaction with open ended exchanges longer than one speaker. And only those interested would attend and participate.

That teachers are educated in colleges that give teacher certifcates means they are are exposed to many agendas pushed by liberal secularists. How to get teachers who can teach is an important issues as is how to design and teach a curriculum or lessons we approve.

State of LA funds private schools for some under Jindal, Not all states are so supportive.
Please , keep this education session in mind for next year.

I have some health or medical isues that I must do tomorrow.

May the Lord bless and guide you each and every one!
