The Amount Of Money Hillary and Her Supporters Spent For Her To Lose Is Staggering

There are company start-ups that raise tens of millions of dollars in venture capital, employ hundreds of people and go bankrupt within a few years. Hillary Clinton kicked off a Presidential campaign in April of 2015. Nineteen months later she lost to Donald Trump. The cost for her and her supporters was a cool $2.1 billion.

There is an excellent documentary called Startup.com that tells the story of the dot-com based company, GovWorks. Founded in 1998, the company employed 250 people by April of 2000. In 2001, thanks to the dot-com crash, the company filed for bankruptcy protection.

Hillary Clinton’s performance is even more of a wonder. Nineteen months. 732 employees. $2.1 billion spent. All for naught.

Hillary Clinton and her supporters spent a record $1.2 billion for her losing presidential campaign — twice as much as the winner, Donald Trump, according to the latest records.

The president-elect, who confounded critics during the campaign by saying there was no need to raise or spend $1 billion or more, ended up making do with $600 million.

Clinton’s expensive machine tore through $131.8 million in just the final weeks, finishing with about $839,000 on hand as of Nov. 28.

Team Trump spent $94.5 million in the home stretch — from Oct. 20 to Nov. 28 — and had $7.6 million left.

People on the left keep bragging about her popular vote ‘win,’ but who cares? It is meaningless. Come January 21, 2017; people will be talking about President Donald Trump, not President Hillary Clinton.

Robby Mook can talk about James Comey, fake news, and the Russians all he wants. It was the big dog, Bill Clinton, who wanted Hillary to spend more time in the Midwest, and the campaign laughed it off.

Who’s laughing now?
