On the unrelated subject of Raising the Debt Ceiling, they all pretty much agreed it has to pass so Republicans had best decide up front what minor concessions they were planning to wring from The Big 0 and then hope for the best. Then it hit me.

It’s time for Republicans to play serious hardball with The Big 0. I specifically mean the kind of tactics Tip O’Neal used against The Gipper when he was in office: attach the repeal of Obamacare to the Debt Ceiling limit when the House considers the bill. The Big 0 gets to choose: yield to the will of the American People on his signature act, or bankrupt the country and take the blame for doing so.

Boehner may be mealy mouthed since November but Cantor is sending the right message!

The republicans need to forge ahead with the repeal and we need to let them know we are behind them. Contact your representative and Cantor and Boehner’s office and show your support.

Patriots must remain vigilant, focussed, and energized as we fight ObamaCare on all fronts… massive rejection by voters and impassioned public rallies isn’t enough to stop them, and the Obama administration has made it abundantly clear that they’ll be ramming still more of it down our throats any which way they can.

Bad-faith, anti-democratic radicals such as we face see widespread public complacency over time as an ally… we must deny them that.

Pelosi is deranged – ObamaCare will increase the deficit. ObamaCare was based on 6 years of spending and 10 years of income. The whole thing is a ponzi scheme. Republicans cannot be hypocrites because none of them voted for it – (OK that Cao guy did but he is gone) –
The democrats are the ones that are hypocrites on this issue.

1. Definitions.– As used herein:
a. “job-killing health care law” means H.R.3590, the “Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act” enacted in 2010.
b. “HEALTH CARE-RELATED PROVISIONS IN THE HEALTH CARE AND EDUCATION RECONCILIATION ACT OF 2010″ means title I and subtitle B of title II of such Act.
2. Repeal — The JOB-KILLING HEALTH CARE LAW and HEALTH CARE-RELATED PROVISIONS IN THE HEALTH CARE AND EDUCATION RECONCILIATION ACT OF 2010 are hereby repealed and shall be void and without effect.
3. This act shall take effect upon becoming law.

Anyone that doesn’t vote for this bill should be repealed and replaced in the next election.

A vote against the Repealing the Job-Killing Health Care Law Act, should be a job killing act for the congressman who choses that path

An easy read Bill, should be noted the 2 pages are in good form and any idiot who can not understand the full meaning… well they should not be in the Senate and the House. Or any elected office.

That means vote for the new bill on Jan 12th or die at the next election and forget about any perks or nice committees to work in, a back bencher or worse. Sort of like the Senator from WA who did nothing for so many years, then during the run up to Nov, was touted as a “senior senator”, what a lie. Too bad she won re-election, now for another 6 years of collecting a salary and doing nothing.
All who don’t get what they want can resign now. Perhaps a Republican Governor will appoint someone to represent the real people. McCain can go and nothing bad will happen.

A NEW Independence day!

Cantor’s Obamacare repeal bill is written simply, maybe in 5th grade English. It is not long. Congressmen will not need lawyers to read it, even those who have demonstrated they don’t have much of a government education. Now Cantor and/or others need to pen a bill which would provide alternatives to Obamacare…immediately open up the state borders to allow health insurance companies to sell heath care insurance across state borders. That would immediately increase competition and reduce the cost of heath care insurance. Don’t wait another week! Introduce that bill now! Then begin to introduce other common sense improvements on what is already a good system of heath care. It is not just good enough to work to eliminate the job killing Obamacare, but there must be alternatives offered. Boehner, Cantor, et all…start today!

It is time NOW to adhere to our constituion. It is time to repeal Obummercare. I agree with gadfly , that the repeal should be attached to the debt ceiling legislation.
Debt ceiling legislation should be a last resort for all of us.
Two months, with pre-thoughout tand studied cuts, this country should not have to raise the ceiling at all.
That said, Cantor’s bill will show to the entire country the congress people who still need to go away. Those Democrats who will be up for election in 2012, who don’t understand they work for We the People, will be replaced by true patriots.
Step one, repeal Obummercare; then continue to peal back the egregious spending, waste, fraud and entitlements that corrupt the people of these United States.

the true test will come when this fails in the Senate is will the Republicans continue to try or is this just for show so that we ignorant constituents will shut up? I don’t trust Boehner nor Cantor to have the balls to follow through on this other than to say we tried and failed. If we had another Speaker of the House that wasn’t a RINO then i might trust this to be pursued until it is repealed. Secondly will Boehner and the new House end up compromising to get things done. do they really understand that we did not send them there to compromise. we sent them there to stop Obama and to continue to push forward the Conservative agenda of a constitution loving, freedom seeking people. I do not believe that the Constitution is a stale outdate document. It is one of the rare documents not unlike the scriptures that is true for all ages and never ages.
