Former CIA Director John Brennan went full purple-haired Social Justice Warrior when he displayed the type of self-hate that white progressives have grown to love. He recently made comments that could easily have been scripted for him by the type of melanin-challenged latte sippers who write books like “White Fragility.”

During a Monday appearance on MSNBC, Brennan stated that he is “increasingly embarrassed to be a white male these days.”

The former CIA director made the comments while participating in a panel segment with former Sen. Claire McCaskill on “Deadline: White House.” The former lawmaker noted that she has “never seen so many whiny white men calling themselves victims” until she saw the 2021 Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC). She also said lying is now acceptable “for the new Republican Party.”

In response, Brennan engaged in the obligatory “white folks bad” virtue signaling. “Well, I must say, to Claire’s point, I’m increasingly embarrassed to be a white male these days … in light of what I see of my other white males saying,” Brennan said.

“But it just shows that with very few exceptions, like [Sen.] Mitt Romney, [Sen.] Liz Cheney, [and Rep.] Adam Kinzinger, there are so few Republicans in Congress who value truth, honesty and integrity,” Brennan continued.

“And the fact that this has such security and safety implications for the American public and for the members of Congress, again, as Claire said, it is just a disgusting display of craven politics that really should have no place in the United States in 2021,” Brennan said.

The discussion was about former President Donald Trump’s claim that the 2020 presidential election was stolen. During his CPAC speech, he repeated the claim and pushed for measures to ensure election integrity.

One would consider it odd that Brennan is embarrassed to be white given the fact that he has done plenty to humiliate himself. When he was CIA director, he brazenly lied to the Senate about spying on staff members working for Senators serving on the Intelligence Committee.

Brennan also continually beclowned himself by constantly lying about the Russiagate hoax. The Federalist’s Ben Weingarten wrote:

In his latest public display of dishonesty, Brennan took to “Fox News Sunday” to repeat untruths regarding the Obama administration’s actions regarding then-president-elect Donald Trump and Russia. According to Brennan, “There was no spying on Donald Trump’s campaign.” There was. Of the Steele dossier, Brennan said it “was not used in any way to undergird the judgments that came out of the intelligence community assessment about the Russian actions in the 2016 election.” It was.

Any sensible person can see that John Brennan should not be embarrassed to be white; he should be embarrassed to be a dishonest progressive hack. But, as you know, these people don’t tend to have much in the way of self-awareness. But perhaps his fellow progressives will appreciate his white guilt.
