Does he wake up in a cold sweat, heart pounding, wondering exactly how many friends he has left to “distance” (emphasis on “dis”)?

Ok, my moment of sympathy has passed. Back to giggling and snickering.

The junior senator from illinois travels from “I don’t think it would be appropriate for me to comment on the issue at this time.” to calling for the Democrat Governor’s resignation in what, less than 24 hours? Pretty soon he’ll be changing his story before the ink can dry. That and there’s going to be a shortage of busses somewhere.

Yesterday afternoon I already started saying What did Oblahblah know and when did he know it? … The need for a Special Prosecutor</a), because after all it is a “serious set of circumstances” and any allegations, or even implications, “demand we look into this matter.” I say that, specifically, because you (may or may not) remember how the Democrats always ask the General Public to get behind them in the need to invoke Special Prosecutors to investigate anything/everything that involves Republicans, whether a Republican President is involved OR NOT! So, DEMOCRATS, let a Special Prosecutor look into this matter and make sure your Radical-Elect isn’t involved.

As for who could/would/should BlahGo attempt to appoint to Obambam’s empty Senate seat and take it?!?! I have several options. If BlahGo wants to still boldly go forth with his appointment process out of spite, and I greatly encourage him to do so he has the following potential options and the following folks should seriously consider accepting the post for the short time they would get to Office before being voted out in the next election.

Before I name them, Why should they say Yes? Simple…. they are relegated to obscurity anyway, and here is there ONLY chance to actually make a splash in national US Politics…

If the democrats and the press ahd done their job of closely scrutinizing Barak, instead of enabling his hype, we would not be dealing with this potential disaster.
There is no way he or his close insiders were not at least somewhat involved with this business-as-usual scam in Illinois.
Jesse Jackson Jr was out trying to bid on the seat.
Obama, from the public record, did in fact meet with the Gov. on the succession plan.
Why not?
He got his other two election victories by playing machine insider games.
We know he played financial games in this election.
What other games has team Obama been playing?
Putting a seat out for bid is nothing to players like this.

Which was the lie. Were they lying to make Obama seem engaged, or are they lying now about Obama’s engagement. I imagine since the feds have recordings of Blago, the lie was that Obama was engaged.

It is so hard to find the real Obama in all this stage management.

I’m still waiting to discover who he actually is. I’m waiting because while the left always claimed Reagan and Bush were sock-puppets the facts were never on the left’s side. Obama may actually be a sock-puppet, time will tell.

This would be funny if it were not so sad. I guess growing up politically in corruption, being surrounded by corruption in the friends you pick, engaging in corruption to further your own career, doesn’t really mean you are corrupt.

I was ready and willing to give Obama the benefit of the doubt, Though I didn’t vote for him, he is now the president, and I wanted to believe he really was concerned about the best for the nation, not his own corrupt politics, now this. Man, this presidency looks like it will be Bill Clinton’s on steroids.

Sorry if this is rambling, but I feel like I’ve been watching a train wreck, I new it was going to happen, but I hoped and prayed that it wouldn’t happen but it did happen and when it did it was way worse than I ever thought it could be.

The real question here is why would Blagojevich feel that it was ok, there was no problem and no danger in approaching Obamasan about such a criminal enterprise? And when Obamasan dissed him he was angry like he had been betrayed. These are not the actions and reactions of someone unfamiliar with who they were dealing with.
For example:
“The governor was overheard saying of the transition team: “they’re not willing to give me anything except appreciation. F**k them.”

At another point, the Blagojevich used the same epithet with regard to Obama himself.

It appears that the governor sought various and sundry benefits for himself, his wife and his campaign in return for Obama’s seat. Blagojevich is quoted as saying that a Senate seat “is a f**king valuable thing, you just don’t give it away for nothing.”

that a majority of our country voted for an empty suit who never put much thought into who he is associating with, or maybe he did and determined they were “His” kind of people. The Indicted Kind!

So the Guv of IL is selling anything he can to the highest bidder. The guy who helped Obama get his house, Rezko, is a convicted felon, now apparently singing for a lighter sentence. JJ2 is Candidate 5, allegedly bidding a reported million bux. Rev Wright has been spewing hate for years. And Bill Ayers is an unrepentant bomber.

Did I leave anyone out? I’m sure I did.
