Jan Brewer Shows She’s Got More Brass Than the SEIU & What’s-His-Name

Arizona's Jan Brewer's not afraid to take on Obama or the Purple Hand at the SEIU.

There are certain defining moments in some politicians’ careers that take them from the status of politician to a real leader.  In Arizona, the fight over SB1070 is Governor Jan Brewer’s defining moment.

In the fight over SB1070, Jan Brewer has stood up to Barack Obama, his Washington (and Chicago) entourage, as well as the “hand inside Barack Obama’s puppet,” the Service Employees International Union.  Her latest video is the most recent example of Jan Brewer’s ability to show the brass that most politicians won’t:

Meanwhile, Brewer’s opponent in the gubernatorial campaign, a nearly 30-year career politician named Terry Goddard, is apparently still searching for his defining moment—hoping the SEIU will somehow give it to him as it did a young community organizer from Illinois.

And they’re bigger than church bells. She’s letting everyone know what we already know….”Immigration Reform” has nothing to do with immigration or reform. It’s about stuffing the ballot box with live bodies as well as dead ones and fictional ones.

And that alone will get her reelected. However, she’s absolutely horrible at explaining why the state’s budget is a mess. To her credit, she’s not standing around blaming her predecessor, Janet Napolitano, for leaving the budget a mess. Yes, the current Homeland Security head did leave things a mess, but blaming one’s predecessor in lieu of working to fix the problem does not meet the definition of “leadership.” (Hint, hint, Mr. Obama).
Unfortunately, a large number of AZ voters don’t fully understand the budget crisis, and what limited steps are possible to fix it. The only reason I know is because she gave a relatively detailed presentation to my wife’s company explaining the situation. My wife then relayed the bullet points to me. I’m unaware of any instance of her addressing the public at large in the same manner. I’ve lost count of coworkers and friends who are ignorant of the details because she’s not relayed the issue. The Arizona Republic will not do her any favors by informing the public either, as they are not big fans of her. Other media outlets in the state are, at best, worthless.
Ms. Brewer will be elected governor, but the people deserve clear explanations as to what’s going on, and I hope she starts providing it.

Brewer is absolutely pathetic. But she’s better than Goddard and she’ll win in a walk.

And then she’ll screw us into the ground.

But I must say, if I lived in Arizona, I’d vote for her just because she is not afraid to tell the world what’s what about the illegal immigration issue. I just love her courage and chutzpah!!!

Makes Obama and his entire administration look like traitors.

Of course, these days even Fidel Castro looks more like the Leader of the Free World than Obama does. This week he’s denouncing Iran and their mouthpiece, the Mullah’s Puppet, and making sense on Israel. Last week he was saying that the Cuban Model (government ownership of the means of production) isn’t even working for Cuba anymore and announced 500,000 layoffs (fired by govt and encouraged to work in private sector), as our Dear Leader is busy destroying our private sector and massively expanding the federal payroll.

Never imagined I’d see the day…

BTW, that reminds me, I haven’t heard ANYONE on the left refer to B.O. as the “Leader of the Free World”, EVER. Its very rarely used now, and then only by Conservatives that are pointing out his failures.

Article 4 sec 4 of the Constitution is one reason for the impeachment of OBama.
When you have armed Mexicans coming across the border and domestic violence as the result there is a violation of this Article for many years. All recent past Presidents should have been impeached as they have all been in gross violation of the Constitution.
We have become a nation ruled by men rather than by law.

since the impeachment of Bill Clinton” don’t you get.

You want to do this, you turn BO into a martyr just like we did for Bill. The now fighting Democrats will rally around their leader, the people will rally around him and you’ll assure his reelection in 12.

Take that idea and stuff it where the sun don’t shine.

If you want to beat the Democrats in a really meaningful way and relegate BO to a spot just below Jimmy Carter in history then we beat the Democrats on the issues. Period.

      Where.The.Sun.Don’t.Shine.

(Therefore I am not a Democrat). Back to the topic. I think you can easily make the point, that advocating impeachment is far from being a bright idea, without the mostly personal vituperation. I agree with you on the idea, just not your informing Atilla exactly what he can do with the idea.

          Ditto. Let’s keep it polite.

Here’s a good read, as well, about Jan Brewer from someone who resides there.

when i hear Obama’s voice now. There is not one word of truth that ever comes from his mouth. He spews destruction every time he speaks and it smells really bad. The SEIU needs to be dismantled just like ACORN was or even more extreme.
