GOTV: Can a Leaderless Army Defeat the Leviathan of the Left?

Countdown to Nov. 2nd: 37 days.

Perhaps it is from spending too many years in Chicago; or, perhaps, it is his SEIU/ACORN training.  In either case, our President has a fondness for “The Chicago Way,” even going so far as once having used the line“If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun.”

In November, many freedom-loving Americans (and their candidates) will be going to a gun fight armed only with their pocket knives.

Of course, that was in 2008 and he was talking about his political opponent, John McCain, during the campaign.  However, it was a message that has many who have crossed the Obama Administration have come to learn first hand.

Now, though, the President’s political opponents appear to be the American people (or at least those who cling to their guns and religion) and, instead of using the image of weaponry, Obama’s advisors apparently view an all-out assault on Americans who exercise their First Amendment Rights as not only proper, but necessary to preserve their power.

Metaphorically speaking, instead of bringing their guns to a knife fight, Obama’s advisors are apparently considering the use of mustard gas on the American people.  And, for what? Simply because Americans have chosen to exercise their basic, constitutional civil liberties of peaceable assemblage and petitioning their government for a redress of grievances.

Apparently, to the Democratic Party apparatchik, along with their entertainment and media pawns, Americans exercising their First Amendment Rights are radical, insane, even crazy.

Over the last two years, however, a growing number of Americans have begun to realize that the entire Washington establishment, currently dominated by the Democrats (but including Republicans), are playing by an entirely different set of rules, that their ethos (and pledges) are questionable at best, and that, plainly speaking, they are Evil just not nice people.

On November 2nd, Americans will have the chance to reject the current track our nation is heading down. It may be the last chance, given a Washington elite that disregards (nay, despises) the Constitution and appears to be on a hell-bound trek towards bankrupting our nation, while enslaving generations of Americans into state servitude.

To be sure, November 2nd is shaping up to be a gang-fight of ideologies:

  • On the Right, a loose confederation of concerned Americans from across the political spectrum, appalled by what they see as a nation that is nearing bankruptcy in both the literal and figurative sense; their freedoms disappearing under the stranglehold of regulatory edicts and red tape; and their own government attacking them for questioning the path politicians and bureaucrats have chosen. While these Americans are greater in number, they are leaderless, distrusting of their own political leaders, and the organizations many of them founded through commons bonds and fellowship are lacking in tactical resources against a gauntlet of leftist goons.

In some ways, it is a battle that has been fought and won before. But that was over 230 years ago.

Then, as now, it took resolve and it took the coordination of 13 disparate colonies.  Then, as now, America was divided between those who fought for freedom and those who chose to live under the yoke of a tyrannical government.  Then, as now, there were battles that were won and there were battles lost.

GOTV: Today’s Battlefield

Today’s ideological battle will not be won or lost in armed conflict…at least not now (and, hopefully, not ever).  Instead, the battles will be fought at the ballot box, at the polls and on the streets as people Get Out the Vote (GOTV).

However, as Americans ready themselves to beat the Leviathan of the Left, many are underestimating, while others are entirely ill prepared.  Young organizations that have only recently emerged are floundering, many of their members wondering what more they could be doing to GOTV.  In sum, in November, many freedom-loving Americans (and their candidates) will be going to a gun fight armed only with their pocket knives.

Evening the Odds

Knowing the size and scope of the Leviathan’s reach was largely the reason why the Concord Project was conceived months ago, built over the summer, and launched nearly three weeks ago.

The RedStaters involved (both in front of and behind the scenes) due to their involvement in the fight for freedom know the strengths and weaknesses of where the movement stands today.

The Concord Project is a tool to even the odds in 2010 and beyond. It is free, and it is something that no single group can do alone.  In order to preserve America in the face of a regime that is hell-bent on statism and destroying liberty, enough Americans must come together, to engage in the battle.

By providing basic Get Out the Vote tutorials, as well as providing a bridge for individuals, activists and groups to work with one another to coordinate their GOTV efforts, the Concord Project is a tool that can serve that purpose as people take advantage of it.

The most important thing Americans can do right now (before Nov. 2nd) to defeat the Leviathan of the Left is to 1) coordinate their GOTV efforts, 2) build voting blocs, 3) work with or help candidate campaigns, and 4) make plans to get people to the polls on November 2nd.

The Concord Project was built with a facilitation platform.

With its 50 state wiki pages, individuals, activists and groups can use the wiki forums to:

  • Post GOTV events
  • Coordinate precinct walks
  • Ask for phone banking help
  • Link to articles you think are of interest to other activists
  • Create a discussion on a particular issue
  • Post endorsements of candidates

The Concord Project has simple instructions for activists and groups on How to Put the Concord to Work for GOTV.

There are 37 days until November 2nd.

Remember November.

GOTV.

The Concord Project: Fighting for Freedom in the Fall

Perhaps it’s long past due. The two party system has devolved into collective power struggles over how to spend other people’s money, who’s going to be the power brokers, and a lot of whatever…

Enter the Tea Party — independent conservatives who are tired of having their tax dollars (and their kid’s futures mortgaged) to buy votes from this or that special interest. These folks aren’t easily herded, Attack them with a frontal assault, and then nimbly step aside and close ranks again. It’s really a lot like the rag tag tea party of Revolutionary days coming up against a highly regimented Red Coat opponent who marched in predictable fashions, in predictable uniforms, and fought with predictable strategies.

Perhaps that’s a good thing. While the both major are different, they do share some commonality in desire for power for themselves. The Tea Party is truly different, It’s not about power for the party, it’s power for the people as defined in the Constitution. Yeah, the Constitution — you know that ancient document covered by increasing deep, steaming piles of judicial activist and bureaucratic regulatory compost.

As you would doubtless agree, The Concord Project is more of a sounding board and platform for cooperation.

It’s all bottom-up and decentralized, so “coordination” has to be understood in terms of people coordinating their own activities.

It’s a fine point, and probably didn’t even need to be made.

an awesome tool which entailed an enormous amount of work.LUR, Ron Robinson and Cold Warrior give Emmy awarding performances in their video presentation of the site.

Ron, I especially love how you keep repeatedly slamming the car door. LOL

Last year just after the 9/12 march in DC, we were having dinner waiting to get on the bus to return to Florida. Before our food was served, I quoted news stories about the event. Washington Post – “thousands”…. NYT – “ten thousand”… Fox News “70,000″. The folks around the table began to get angry and I told them there was a number they could not dispute. I said I know there was at least ONE person there… ME!

Today, those that believe in smaller government and cutting spending vastly outnumber those who do not. The Concord Project brings to the fight the weapon more powerful than any the other side can bring… the one thing that cannot be bought…. MY VOTE.

write out some checks, and discriminate between parties and candidates, none of this stupidity about ” throwing them all out”, if there is a grasp of fundamental principles, then it can happen.
The idiot factor must always come into play. The Democrats, always proud to display their bestial, sub-human selves, are planning a massive dirt, smear them all campaign.
When you are the maggots in the bottom of the barrel you go with what you know and do best. Millions of idiots are loose in America and are swayed by this kind of filth. so there is a wild card here. Expect vote fraud as never before seen, the dead will “vote” as never before, a big Dem constituency.
This time though the maggots may be playing with fire.

There are a number of parallels in computer systems, where groups of computers work together, without a designated “central” system. The architecture is a little harder to explain to management, who have spent their careers steeped in top-down control structures, but it’s a lot harder to crash the entire complex, so explaining it in terms of “no unplanned outages” is usually successful.

The Tea Party reminds me of this – if someone wants to get involved, all they have to do is show up and see how they can help various people may declare themselves leaders, but .. if enough of the rest of the group disagree, they’ll find themselves leading nobody – multiple parallel groups can exist, trading members back and forth…

It’s harder to get this kind of system started, which is part of why Ross Perot failed, but once started, it’s much harder to get rid of it.

….I CAN SEE NOVEMBER FROM MY HOUSE!!!! Wish I were there for the good fight!

Appropriately named, as before as it is now, a loose confederation to fight a world superpower. The Tea Party of today has much the same cause all the way down to the soldiers on the front line. Moreover, the left is divided, I talked to some of these front line union storm troopers on the left personally during the Brown 41 campaign. These front line storm troopers from the unions are paid by the unions to attend and beyond that, they have no cause to be there. This is not to say they are not dangers as they are ruled by mob mentality that takes priority over morality. This is so easily exploited as it was in the past as it is now it would be foolish to bring this big gun to the front line. Our group has a rapid response brigade as I suspect most other Tea Party groups have as well. These are veterans well versed in the modern gorilla warfare tactics of politics and know the lay of the land much better then their bused in opponents. As in the past, any leader from the left should be very afraid to step on to the battlefield. To what extent history will repeat its self I will leave to imagination or Rule 1.

Knowledge is power, more precisely common sense and natural law as a common form of communication. The Tea Party of the past used this common sense and natural law, and much of it is found in our founding documents. On the left they expend most of their energy rationalizing the reality of a problem it becomes perverted. This is their reality on the left, what they are familiar with and all they know how to put into practice. This becomes more prevalent in the fringe groups on the left such as the lefts Eco-Nazis. For example, we are hounded that we must drive cars like the Toyota Prius hybrid that gets 46 MPG. However, we cannot drive these more efficient Euro turbo diesels/bio diesels with 60+ MPG because they do not pass in the five states that follow California clean air regulations on Nox emissions. When asked the common sense how does consuming twice the amount of energy equate to being more green, the result is confusion, fear and retreat or Rule 2.

I could go on with the other rules but I want to get back to

I’m not sure if I’m understanding this correctly:

Is it possible to have an automatic crosslink on GOTV to all the other platforms from meetup.com to Facebook.com to ning.com that we use now? The effort to repost everything is a precious commodity in some groups. Overall what is needed is a uniter, I think GOTV/ Concord Project could be the seldom found uniter in the loose confederation if given that direction.

Are you asking for a “share” device? or just the ability to link to the Concord Project? Also, on a state by state basis, the wiki is an open platform which allows groups to embed links to their groups as well.

      • 1stRichard

The W/Mass (me) is on meetup.com and so is the Connecticut Northern Alliance but there is one central mass on Facebook.com and one eastern Mass on ning.com. Then there is the MassLPA on a different platform and so many more. An obvious interface problem, just trying to click on each one is a bother if short on time. We also have the complexity so noted at many meetings of new comers to the web, elderly for the first time getting confused. I call it a mess as it currently stands and I see a need for a path of least resistance, we need a way to unify. I do not know the capabilities here, possibly one calendar automatically pulling information for a radius would be nice, manually inputting the data would be too time consuming.

What to call it, share device, one calendar that has all the events in one simple to use place because when I click on the last link I forgot the first one, and for some mobile phone friendly?

A centralized hub for posting…across groups, across platforms.

Think of it as a town bulletin board for the nation (that’s the easies way to describe it). Go there, log in, and check out the forums.

  • pamela1631

Each time we look in the mirror, catch a reflection passing a window, watch shadows cast against the walls or walks, there are the leaders this nation needs. We are all leaders in one way or another.

We are taking more than pocket knives to a gun fight. We have the dreams, aspirations and sacrifices of our ancestor going into the voting booth with us. Everything they fought for, every wound they received, every patriot and soldier that has died up to this point will be there this November 2nd 2010.

Like the midnight riders of 1775, word is getting out to the populace that the freedom and future of our country is at stake.
Only in 2010, Lexington and Concord are in each state, county, parish, township, city and village.

This time, we will all be on the green.

  • davesinsanantonio

    Amen!!!
And this time we need to stay on the green. We cannot fall back into that complacency that allowed the Left a century of successes, and now two years to “run up the score on us”!
“Eternal vigilance is the price of freedom.” We must learn that lesson! We have seen how the Left will lie, cheat, and steal, and even commit violence to get their way. We cannot let them get away with taking our freedoms any longer. We cannot allow our children and grandchildren to be sold into serfdom to an all-powerful state. If we do, they will not ever be able to free themselves without horrendous violence. We must spare them that. Either we fight now, or we fail forever.

    Ten Thousand Instant Leaders

GOTV: Can a Leaderless Army Defeat the Leviathon of the Left?

Yes it can! In a leaderless army all are leaders. The only requirement for leadership is ideological unity. We, the People, share the same goals for ourselves as for our neighbors: freedom and liberty, neither licentiousness nor pleasure.

Each who takes up the cause of the proposed Ethnocultural Amendment to the Constitution for the united States of America (circa 1787-89) instantly creates for himself or herself a potential personal leadership energy vortex.

    The Ethnocultural Amendment
No citizen shall be denied or deprived of the right to an ethnoracial identity; no citizen shall be denied or deprived of the right to belong to an ethnoracial group; no ethnoracial group shall be denied or deprived of the right to ethnocultural sovereignty.
