It’s an overcast Sunday morning, cooler today than the past few have been, and I am wondering how many of the 10-02-10 attendees are having second thoughts or truly profound regrets for being involved.

Within the confines of each group, philosophical rhetoric has been repeated to the adherents and to those who are searching for a solution to their problems. Unfortunately, the rhetoric does nothing to fix the person. That comes from within not from the false promise of “we will take care of your every need” by taking from the hard work of your neighbors. Just sign on the dotted line. Maybe some will come to the conclusion deals with the Devil are non-refundable and totally binding.

There was a time in our history, when a man was dishonorable, the gauntlet was thrown down along with an invitation to meet in a wooded glade at dawn. Swords and Pistols are no longer used in dealing with those who have betrayed our Country and Constitution. Words of truth and hard history facts are now used to shred the twisted ideals and rhetoric.

There are many things that seem disjointed from the Marxists, Socialists, Communists and pick-from-list-special-interests persons. The screams of unfair echo constantly. Where is it written in the meaning of life that life is supposed to be fair? Where is it written that the mediocre should be on the same level as the outstanding? Where is it written that those who work hard and succeed in life must turn over the results to those who sit on their behinds shouting “Gimme, it’s my right to take from you!”

It’s time to set aside the guilt we have been force fed under the guise of being fair. The price of reparations for past injustices has been paid many times over. The time has come for those who believe they have been oppressed, no matter the reason, to look to themselves for the cause of their oppression. People can no longer blame others for the disastrous outcomes of individual life choices. The only boot on a neck is the boot placed there by the person’s own foot.
