The OneNation Rally: Because SIZE MATTERS.

Read this only if you promise not to point and laugh.

As we all know, ridicule is a most potent weapon.  So, as a result of this knowledge, you must promise not to ridicule the communists, the socialists, the Leninists at the House of Labor, the race baiters, and the other assorted groups of American freedom haters.

Don’t laugh either. You must promise that, okay?

Because we all know, at least to some, SIZE MATTERS.

You see, the size of the Saturday’s OneNation rally would not really matter if

  1. MSNBC’s Ed Schultz didn’t foolishly make the claim that he would have 300,000 people at Socialist Saturday;
  2. Leninist labor boss Richard Trumka hadn’t predicted 100,000 union members;
  3. The SEIU hadn’t claimed 75,000 of its purple progressives would be bused in (unless the SEIU really meant that 75k of its janitors would do park clean-up for all the SEIU signs that were left lying around), and;
  4. Some dolt didn’t come on stage and claim that a satellite image proved that the Marxist March on Washington was bigger than Beck’s 8/28 rally…

But, apparently, size does matter…to them.

Seriously. Do not point and laugh…

[via Barack Obama's conservative cousin, h/t SA Hiller]

Oh. You laughed, didn’t you?

That’s some confidence builder, huh?

After inviting all your progressive friends to a party, the only ones that show are the nut jobs that make you blush at the memories of all those mornings you woke up with a bad case of Coyote Ugly. [It must have been the Russian vodka.]

It’s no wonder, after helping organize the event, the President had to leave town.

He hates to be laughed at and, more importantly, he’d rather not be seen with all his friends with their makeup off.

Now, instead of laughing, go make some fun at them at the polls.

On November 2nd, show them that yours really is bigger than theirs.

GOTV.  From here on out, that’s what it’s all about.

[Seriously.]

[P.S. The OneNation 1/2 rally was even worse in SoCal.]

…managed to leave five times the trash? Tell me that’s not putting forth extra effort.

Were both shot at the same time in the respective rallies? If so, wow.

      • http://www.laborunionreport.com LaborUnionReport

Though, I do not know the time.

      • http://908StraightSt.wordpress.com/ mbecker908

that indicated they were taken at the same relative time – the events didn’t start at the same time but the indication was that the pics were offset so that the time was relative.

        I’ll check for a link.

here. The pictures appear to be the same and the comments are interesting relative to the timing.

          • mypalfish

            Interesting to say the least.

            Yes, it was very interesting.

I want to see if Schultz tries to throw out some ridiculous attendance number.

There was 200,000 people there easy.

That rally was pathetic wasn’t it….?
I watched it on and off throughout the day.

  • JEM

All the SEIU folks were, in fact, wearing grass-green jackets.

You can see the place is full of them. Except where it’s not.

the 10/02 pic was snapped during union coffee break.

What a sorry bunch of complaining freeloading moochers.
I also learned that I do not care foe slam poetry all that much.
I watched it on and off throughout the day. What I noticed the most was how the networks went out of their way to make sure you did not see the words communist , socialist or marxist even though those signs were everywhere.
They must have had to turn their cameras off a hundred times.

That rally is just another example of how the leftie media manages the news more than they report it.

  • conservadad

Looking at the photos made me laugh because of the tweet I read during the “One Nation” rally saying that conservatives must be “shaking in their boots” seeing all this “liberal solidarity”

    Yeeeeeeaaaaaaah… Not so much!

    • jmadisonfan

At least we now know the identity of the target audience for all those annoying Cialis, Levitra and Viagara commercials . . .

  • conservadad

If the Left really is as “Green” and “environmentally conscious” as they say they are, why wasn’t this rally held online? Bow much of a carbon footprint did they leave after busing in (obviously lightly filled) groups of people, and leaving so much garbage behind?

It apparently is only easy being Green, when it is convenient…

  • drfredc

    I know,

    I know,

    I know what happened.

They were all in the bathroom comparing sizes when the picture was taken… :)

    Normally laughter relieves stress.

    Is snickering ok?

The difference between 8/28 and this 10/2/10 rally, is 8/28 was about belief in a continuing better tomorrow for all Americans. Not just those who profess to know what is good for us even when it is detrimental to our freedom and survival.

I think they assume the followers of Marx, Lenin, Stalin, Mao and Wilson will be exempt from all the new rules, regulations and laws.
And they won’t have to pay for anything.

Size does matter in some things, but so do moral integrity,
strength of character and being able to bear the burdens of life with good grace.

  • powertothepeople

that it is not so much about the size of the group as there are still a ton of idiots in this country, it is about the fact they got caught with their pants down and are to embarrassed to be seen in public.

It is sort of like this: Everyone remembers that crush in elementary school where you write that note with the check boxes to the cutest girl in the class. She wads it up and tosses your note in the trash. You are so embarrassed you skip the next few days so you do not have to see her face to face. Then you come up with some “good” line where you would not have dated her anyways due to her bad breath and then you think you are no longer getting giggled at.

Same thing here, they fooled a ton into believing the whole change thing, people got a taste and said, oh hell no, we do not want this, rejected their further advancements, and now they are red faced. They know they have failed and are being rejected and hence have no desire to be seen by anyone right now. Give them a few months and their shrills will be heard again with some cheesy look at the hateful republicans with bad breath line. The ones you see at these events are just the most stupid on that side. They do not know they should be embarrassed and do not think their ship has already sunk.

was when Benjamin Jealous began speaking and a couple of the unions decided it was time to beat the traffic and their people starting streaming out . . . it looked like a walkout, but it was just unions who didn’t want to pay their “volunteers” for another hour or two.

  • jccbin

is that the above images were taken at the worst time for their crowd (too early or too late).

“What time was the 10/02 picture taken?” they are asking.

I ask “What time was the 8/28 picture taken? Oh, it doesn’t matter because 8/28 filled the area all day long? Hm.”

Trust me Progs, RedState will be happy to put up your best non-’shopped image. Please, send it to Erick.

Looks like they need some VIagraLENIN …

  • throwback59

for such a small size, the leftists managed to screw a lot of people.

  • indyjohn

was held at the Lincoln Memorial, but in the photo I see a tight bunch of people there, plus a smattering of people along the east side of the Reflecting Pool, and another smaller group at the WWII Memorial. How do we know that the people around the Reflecting Pool and the WWII Memorial weren’t simply tourists? This was a Saturday, and the ralliers didn’t take up much space down at their end.
The photo in the New York Times, which showed the crowd from the most advantageous vantage point available, shows an event that drew a fraction of the crowd that the Beck/Palin event did.
These Lefties are an obnoxious, loser minority, whose influence is exaggerated by their extremely advantageous alliance with the MSM. It’s time that Patriotic Americans showed these !@#$%^&* who is boss.

    • Common_Cents

Subtract that number from the Ed Schultz failure rally and see what you have.

      • indyjohn

then that means the true number of participants in this last weekend’s rally was about 20,000. Sounds right to me, considering that these kooks are a minority within a minority.

  • alaskaescapeartist

He’d be saying “get the hell off my memorial!”

  • teresakoch

….and “whoops!” never actually made it to the rally…..

  • joehnewyork

I saw a few flags on the ground (sacrilege it would have been for 8/28 rally). If garbage means anything there was way more people then Glenn’s rally. Also it sounds like Trumka is saying don’t let anything stand in the way. Shades of poor Eddie York maybe.
