How Unions or Their Allies Could be Stealing November’s Election Right Now

Here is a prediction: Across the country, there will be races that some candidates will lose even though poll numbers, right now, indicate otherwise.

As you read this, at present, you should know that there are only seemingly disconnected anecdotal dots that are starting to connect. However, if the dots do fully connect, we may not know until well after the November 2nd election if, in fact, America’s democratic election process will have become the victim of the biggest fraud in our nation’s history. What’s worse, with early voting beginning this week in many states, it may already be too late to do anything about it.

In order to break this down, here are the disconnected dots that are detailed below:

  • First Dot: The SOS Project
  • Second Dot: The SEIU’s Shenanigans
  • Third Dot: 11 Million Illegal Immigrants
  • Fourth Dot: The Fake ID Industry & Meg Whitman
  • Fifth Dot: Voter Registration
  • Sixth Dot: Union GOTV Strategies
  • Seventh Dot: Early Voting
  • Connecting the Dots

First Dot: The SOS Project

In 2005, shortly after George Bush won re-election, angry billionaire George Soros, along with the SEIU and others, founded the Secretary of State Project (or SOS) ”to provide an easy-to-use, low-cost vehicle for online donations to reform-minded Secretary of State candidates and incumbents in key battleground states.”

As Conservative Outlooks writer Carol Greenberg points out:

The Secretary of State is the chief elections official in each state, so he/she is responsible for the conduct of elections and establishment of election day rules. A position and role mostly unknown by the majority of citizens in this country before the 2000 election.

Someone of great wealth recognized the power of the Secretaries of State. The power to ultimately decide, perhaps by manipulating and interpreting state election law partisanly, to place their chosen candidate into office.

In the last five years of its existence, the SOS Project has been successful in getting nine out of 11 “progressive” secretaries of state elected. This includes Minnesota’s Mark Ritchie who oversaw the 2008-09 ballot recount* between Democrat Al Franken and Republican Norm Coleman. [Here are the races Soros' SOS Project is active in for November.]

* In July 2010, an 18-month study by Minnesota Majority determined that at least 341 convicted felons in largely Democratic Minneapolis-St. Paul voted illegally.  Franken beat Coleman by 312 votes. Claims that Franken, Soros and Ritchie stole the election have been ignored.

Second Dot: The SEIU’s Shenanigans

Over the past few months, as Democrats and their union bosses have seen their mid-term election prospects dim significantly, there have been separate incidents involving what appears to be a manipulation of the electoral system occurring all over the country that all have one common denominator—they involve persons connected to the SEIU.

Third Dot: Nearly 11 Million Illegal Immigrants.

According the most recent data published by the Department of Homeland Security (assuming it can be believed), there were an estimated 10.8 million illegal immigrants in the United States, as of 2009.

It is widely known that Big Labor bosses (most notably the SEIU, but most others as well) are fighting to get “immigration reform” legislation passed so that 1) they can unionize many of these workers and 2) they can turn them into “progressive voters.”

Fourth Dot: The Fake ID Industry & Meg Whitman

In the past few years, there have been some high profile ICE raids on companies that have allegedly hired illegal immigrants. In the vast majority of these cases, although the workers were in the country illegally, they were hired by companies who were following the Catch-22 system that is the law.  Here’s how:

All U.S. employers must complete and retain a Form I-9 for each individual they hire for employment in the United States. This includes citizens and noncitizens. On the form, the employer must examine the employment eligibility and identity document(s) an employee presents to determine whether the document(s) reasonably appear to be genuine and relate to the individual and record the document information on the Form I-9. The list of acceptable documents can be found on the last page of the form. [Download the form (in PDF) here.]

[On page five of the I-9 form are the types of ID that are acceptable for employment.  The most common forms used are social security cards and driver's licenses.]

  • The Fake ID Industry. Both inside and outside the U.S. are underground businesses that supply false identifications to people, mostly illegal immigrants.  In fact, a quick search of the internet reveals a number of websites (several outside the U.S.) where people can order fake IDs.  There is even one website that provides a review of other fake ID websites.  With enough money, anyone can have more fake IDs than Jason Bourne.  With fake ID in hand, any illegal immigrant is automatically employable in the United States, as California’s gubernatorial candidate Meg Whitman has discovered.
  • Catch-22 & the Fake Whitman Controversy. Over the past week, the ginned-up controversy surrounding California’s Meg Whitman’s hiring of an illegal made immigrant has been used as campaign fodder by Democrats and unions (including a $5 million SEIU ad buy on Spanish TV) attempting to tarnish Whitman. However, one extremely important point that is getting brushed aside is the fact that Whitman’s $23 per hour housekeeper had used her fake ID to acquire her job. Further, as noted (at 1:20) in Fox’s Meghan Kelly’s interview of Gloria Alred (the housekeeper’s attorney), Whitman herself could have been charged with discriminating  against Diaz if she questioned the validity of Diaz’s fake documents.

According to the same San Francisco article Meghan Kelly quoted from [emphasis added]:

“There is no additional legal obligation for an employer to follow up or respond to SSA with new information,” said Gening Liao, a labor and employment attorney at the National Immigration Law Center in Los Angeles, which defends immigrants.

Liao added that it is “very important that the employer does not take adverse action against the employee” merely based on a letter from Social Security.

Nor was Diaz under any obligation to pursue the matter, Liao said. Correcting a mismatch is “primarily for the benefit of the employee,” she said, to make sure they can collect all the benefits due them for their work.

The attorney for Diaz Santillan has not said whether the Whitmans’ former housekeeper received a mismatch notice. Social Security’s notice to employees says the letter “does not, in and of itself, allow your employer to change your job, lay you off, fire you or take other action against you.”

Had Whitman questioned Diaz’s legal status after Diaz presented documents when she was hired, Whitman again would have exposed herself to discrimination violations.

“Not only is (accepting the documents) all the law required her to do, but there’s a counterbalancing anti-discrimination law that keeps her from probing further or demanding different documents,” said Crystal Williams, executive director of the American Immigration Lawyers Association in Washington.

Fifth Dot: Voter Registration

As we saw in 2008 with ACORN, registering to vote in most states is extraordinarily easy. So easy, in fact, that if someone who wasn’t in this country legally, but had a fake ID and wanted to register to vote, they could do so without difficulty in nearly every state.  In most states, all one needs is a photo ID. In some states, if persons wanted to vote on election day, but didn’t have ID, all they would need is someone to vouch for them at the polls.

In a very informal sample survey done in the last 24 hours of people in different states across the country who were asked to call their nearest registrar’s office to ask what is needed in the form of ID, the results were rather frightening. Here are just a few:

From Ohio:

According to “Lynn” at the County Board of Elections you need one of the following to vote:
Valid Oh driver’s license, OH ID card, military ID card, govt. ID c ard, bank statement, government check or utility bill. In other words, no picture ID required.

From North Carolina:

I asked what was necessary (what type of ID) to register to vote.  I didn’t specifically ask if they “verify” ID. Here is what I was told.  You need a form of ID with your address on it.  It can be a driver’s license or utility bill.  I asked if a photo ID was required and was told it was preferred, but she didn’t think it was required.

From Illinois:

In Illinois, voter registrars are SUPPOSED to request 2 pieces of identification from the potential voter including at least 1 with their address.  There is no check for citizenship other than asking the voter if they are a citizen.  That leaves the onus upon the person doing the registration.  Since most labor unions can automatically acquire registrar status, this doesn’t help much.

From Pennsylvania:

Have a stack of PA mail-in voter registration forms in front of me – no ID verification, notarization, anything, except for the usual warnings about penalty of perjury, etc.

Also, the county elections office handed 100 or so of them to me, like they were candy.

From Minnesota:

MN Driver’s license or learners permit

Tribal ID

Or better yet, an employee of a statutorially defined ‘residential facility’ (such as a nursing home, battered women’s shelter, etc) can vouch for an unlimited number of residents. Gory details here:  http://www.sos.state.mn.us/index.aspx?page=1181

And you’re just gonna love this one: Voter Voucher: Voucher by another voter of the same precinct — may vouch for a limit of 15 voters – oath of a pre-registered voter in the same precinct or of a voter who registers in the same precinct on election day with one of the other authorized proofs of residence. A voter who is vouched for cannot vouch for another voter.

Yep, you read that right. In the state of MN, I can walk into the polling place on Election Day, register to vote, bring along 15 of my friends and as long as I ‘vouch’ for them being legal residents, they are allowed to vote.
From Wisconsin:
Voters register at the Secretary of State’s Office  or City Clerk which is where they provide documentation that they are able to vote.  They are then put in the Poll Books.

When someone comes in to vote, they must show a Photo I.D.    If they do not have a photo I.D. (driver’s license; State I.D. Card), they must sign an affidavit that they do not have a photo I.D.  and are then allowed to vote.

From California:

I just took the GOP poll watcher course.  No ID is required in CA to register to vote.  No ID is required in CA when you appear at the polls to vote (I tested this myself last time in the primary) I did not offer an ID and none was requested of me before I got my ballot.  No ID required indeed.

Every political office (like campaigns) in CA has hundreds of voter registration forms about.  Fill one out and mail it in and you are good to go.

Just by the responses from the above informal sampling, it would appear that, in most cases, if someone has a photo ID—real or not—almost anyone can register to vote.

Sixth Dot: Union GOTV Strategies

Over the last year, unions have been planning their election strategy to create “firewall” states by spending hundreds of millions to turn voters out in November.  In addition to the unions, the DNC’s Organizing for America has been conducting voter registration drives for the last few months.

In August, the SEIU and California Teachers Association announced a voter registration drive that raised little attention when it was announced, but requires a closer look [emphasis added]:

The Service Employees International Union (SEIU) California, the California Teachers Association (CTA) and Latino leaders announced a major statewide marketing campaign, “Por Nuestras Familias – Todos a Votar!,” aiming to register thousands of new Latino voters and boost November’s Latino election turnout by signing up Latinos as new, permanent absentee (PAV) voters.

At a news conference in Los Angeles’ historic Placita Olvera last week, Eliseo Medina, International Executive Vice President of SEIU and David Sanchez, President of the California Teachers Association announced that they will embark on the 9- city “Por Nuestras Familias – Todos a Votar!” bus tour beginning August 14, with the goal of reinvigorating Latino voter participation and empowering those who do not regularly cast their ballot on election day. The campaign will provide non-registered Latino voters the tools they need to vote and generate motivation among all Latino constituents through a permanent absentee application drive.

Seventh Dot: Early Voting & Election Day

This week, in many states across the U.S. early voting begins.  This means that ballots may be being sent in from persons who have no legal right to vote, but who are voting anyway.  [For the early voting dates for each state, go to the Concord Project's state pages and select a state.]

A couple of days ago, we received an anonymous tip from someone who had visited an SEIU office in Arizona and discovered that the union had allegedly registered more than 20,000 voters and was planning ‘early voting rallies.’

In fact, according to the SEIU-backed group One Arizona’s FaceBook page, their first “early voting rally” is on October 7th, the first day early voting begins.

Then, on October 16th, the group has planned a big ‘early voting rally‘ called ¡AYER MARCHAMOS – AHORA VOTAMOS! (or YESTERDAY WE MARCHED – TODAY WE VOTE!)

The group’s object in holding this rally is apparently to have pro-immigration reform Latinos bring their ballots to mark them ‘together.’

The tactic itself is an old union tactic when mail-in ballots are conducted during union organizing campaigns and the purpose is very simple: To get the voters to vote the right way by doing it together.  In this case, however, there appears to be more than meets the eye, especially if some of the attendees are in the U.S. unlawfully, but are still encouraged to vote.

It wouldn’t be the first time, as this video shows.

Connecting the Dots:

As stated at the beginning of this post, there are seemingly disconnected dots that, when put together, leads one to believe that there could be something untoward occurring right now.  Unfortunately, there is little that can be done other than for average Americans to work harder to get more people to the polls on November 2nd.  And, if any fraud is discovered, with George Soros’ secretaries of state in office, in certain states, it is questionable whether anything will come of it.

As a result, if Americans don’t get more people to the polls, it is suspected that candidates will lose races where, right now, the poll numbers appear to have them leading.

As we’ve been saying for months, November’s election outcome will be dependent on voter turnout.  The unions and their allies have had their plans in place for months.  There is less than a month to go.

GOTV.

Voter Fraud ...

GreyCloak (Diary) Thursday, October 7th at 4:32AM EDT (link)

… has been around for ages … at least since 6,000 Nixon votes showed up in a Chicago garage MONTHS after the election was done.

In 2000, precisely 500 votes were counted “after the fact” for Gore in Maricopa County, New Mexico, with NO change in the “down ballot.” (actually, ONE vote changed in the down ballot, but the 500 new ones were never in evidence). Similar things happened in Washington State, South Dakota, and even Iowa in that and subsequent elections.

Though these things are sometimes quietly found out months or years after an election, nobody is prosecuted, nor elections overturned.

Crooked Congress would never pass it, but voting fraud is treason against the most important right in America … the Death Penalty ought to be considered for violations of election laws or even contribution restrictions. This may seem harsh, but “anyone who aids or abets the false registration of voters, creates false ballots be they ‘absentee’ or cast in a regular election shall be put to death” might bring some honesty to our elections. Voting fraud is TREASON against the most important ideal of America.

cheating and Democrats

kyle8 (Diary) Thursday, October 7th at 6:39AM EDT (link)

One thing that might make a difference in a few of these close races is the propensity for Democrats to cheat. Here in Harris County (Houston) the Ballot machines got burned up in a mysterious fire, and there is no time to get new ones.

Remember that in any area where the Democrats have a control of inner city politics, then the Republican has to win by at least 4-5% or they will Steal it.

We would not have that toad Frankin in the senate if not for outright fraud.

they have taken specific aim at texas

sta46 Thursday, October 7th at 8:20AM EDT (link)

Monday one of the Dem talking heads went so far as to predict that Rick Perry will lose. Since I am in TN, I can only go by what I read about Rick Perry, but from where I sit the only way he loses is by voter fraud.
Obama hates Texas more than about anything and his SEIU minions are doing all that they can to help him flay Texas alive so you are really under the gun down there. I watched the Houston Tea Party video called True The Vote and Texans really need to rally and volunteer en masse to help them with the voter registration verification, like NOW, or Texas will go down in flames. Call all you friends and have them sign up to help since as of the making of the video there were only about 50 of them trying to wade through the many zillions of registration forms.
We are relatively new to TN and I went down to the Hamilton County (Chattanooga) Registrar’s Office a few weeks ago with our voter registration forms and was not required to provide ANY ID… no DL, no utility bill, absolutely NOTHING… I simply handed them to the woman behind the desk and was told our cards would arrive in the mail within 10 business days. We are only 2.5 linear miles from the Georgia line so half of north Georgia cold be registering here and no one would have a clue. I was stunned.
I have been going to the Hamilton County GOP meetings since the early spring desperately trying to alert them to our potential peril to no avail. I have been pushing for all-in support for our Gubernatorial nominee telling them that he is important to the issue of the assertion of States Rights and potential nullification and they are clueless… even going so far as to tell me that the current Governor is “pretty entrenched” etc. I don’t know how much of this is because I am new to the area, how much of it is because I am a Yankee, how much of it is because they are still of the mind set that the GOP is the party of “polite”, or how much of it is because they simply can’t handle the truth of what could be/is staring us in the face. They definitely do not understand that we are the proverbial 300 Spartans and that it is now or never despite my best efforts to enlighten them and my relentless harping on the Concord Project and GOTV. Interestingly enough, they are totally focused on Agenda 21 and have not connected the dots enough to figure out that the easiest way to avoid all that is to win big now.
PS… I confess to being a charter member of the Tinfoil Hat Society for a whole host of reasons dating back to the early 70′s reading books by Antony C. Sutton, Herman Dinsmore and the like (and how true their positions have proven to be). Having said that, I lived in SC for 20 years before coming here and I can assure you from first hand experience that the good old boy politicians in SC are as entrenched as any in the nation. When Allan Green won the Dem primary with 60% of the votes every alarm bell in my body went off. Any alarm bells that might have only been pinging went to full volume when a mere 24 hours after those results came out his opponent withdrew his demands for a re-count and said he would support the nominee. It is my humble opinion that the Dems figured out how to hijack the voting machines. Think about it… the Dems could throw a billion dollars and their best ever candidate into that race and would have ZERO chance of unseating Jim DeMint so what better place to try it out? Green’s opponent folded WAY too fast. I’m betting some Dem big-wig called him up and told him what they did and that’s why he backed off so very uncharacteristically quickly. We are going to have to win bigger than the estimated 3-7 % or we are all toast.

THe SC issue you mentioned is very frightening and makes sense.

Don't forget ballots in foreign languages too.

NeoKong (Diary) Thursday, October 7th at 5:04AM EDT (link)

Mostly Spanish of course.
That one really bugs me because it is a blatant admission and surrender to illegal aliens voting.
Anytime I read about an effort to stop stricter voting requirements it is almost always from a Democrat as they can only survive on voter fraud.
Same day registration is the biggest scam going or so I thought until I read this diary.

I don’t see why we can’t at least have the same security and integrity at the ballot box as we have with any state lottery.
Just try cashing in a $1,000 scratch ticket without an ID.
Try to turn in an altered Keno ticket.
Try to cheat. It can’t be done.
Any state can go back ten years and show you every single bet made with 100% accuracy. There is a never a recount for a lottery and your ticket is your receipt.

How come 44 different multi-state juridictions can hold a Powerball drawing with absolute integrity and instant results but we cannot even stop dead people from voting on election day with two years to prepare…..?
We are in the 21st century now.
Time for an upgrade.

Terrific write-up

smitch61 Thursday, October 7th at 7:44AM EDT (link)

While I cannot speak for SEIU or other unions, I can let you know that here in Michigan election day is a paid day off given to UAW members in their contract. They get out the vote. That is the point of the paid day off. If voting days were on a Monday it may not be an issue, perhaps some would take a long weekend away. The union vote here is paramount to the success of the Democrat candidate, generally it works. The key for the rest of us is to get out the vote. Currently the GOP candidate for governor here in MI is up by double digits. It is not a shoe in for him, as the turn out on behalf of the union can put his democrat opponent in the capital. We HAVE to get out there and vote.

Amazingly thorough!

positiveenerg (Diary) Thursday, October 7th at 8:03AM EDT (link)

The left and unions and George Soros are doing this now and have for years. They promote the idea that everyone (the “other side”) does the same things. Some of them, maybe most, really believe it.

The distinction, however, is that activists and organizers and financiers of the effort on the right is fighting for the laws to be observed and for elections to be legal and fair. We’re happy to accept the results if we at least know we had a chance to fight on a fair playing field. They, however, believe the end justifies the means so illegally stealing elections falls into the “ends justify the means” of promoting worker rights and “little people” from wealthy capitalist bourgeois who have already “fixed” the elections by rigging the system against them.

Great, great piece.

If you can think of it now, the left already did and just might be implementing it in places.

kestrel (Diary) Thursday, October 7th at 10:42AM EDT (link)

I talked to hundreds of random citizens outside post offices, business, etc. while gathering signatures to try to put a Missouri-style healthcare question on Michigan’s Nov. ballot. We didn’t achieve our goal (though our informal results mirrored Missouri’s — 70 percent against ObamaCare), mostly through lack of funding and our own inexperience. From making the effort, however, I can tell you two things:

1. If you think the Tea Party has become a major political force, just wait until we know what we’re doing.

2. There is an absolutely unbending, bedrock opposition to the healthcare bill that cannot even be described. Polls simply do not tell the story.

We will win this year. We will overwhelm the fraud. But, yes, this may be our last chance. Starting in January, Republicans have to clean house like nobody’s business — get rid of the Motor Voter law and “no reason” early/absentee balloting, root out ACORN spawn and charge them with racketeering, build the fence, require E-verify for employment, make laws requiring picture ID for voting, etc. States can do a lot of this on their own.

Don't be discouraged, but don't be complacent either nt

It’s easy to belittle these tactics when they come up individually, but when the big picture is painted, its downright scary. The left has survived far too long on manufactured voter corruption machinery, manipulating the system, rather than common sense good ideas that appeal to voters.

I didn’t know about the MN 15 voter vouch. Maybe we need voting parties and a few thousand short buses on election day. I bet some citizen journalists would find DEMS busing voters to multiple voting locations already.

to vote in Wisconsin. If i have been asked to do so, it was so long ago i have forgotten. Certainly i have not been asked to present a photo ID in the last several elections.

In several cases, the person checking the voter list was someone who knew me personally, so i didn’t feel there was any problem.

i’m not sure about the photo ID requirement, however, because there have been several highly publicized attempts to pass a state law requiring a photo ID to vote. These attempts either didn’t make it out of the legislature, or were vetoed by the Governor.

Where we are, we just tell the people at the poll our name. nt.

In Delaware we have to show photo ID to vote

demathgal Thursday, October 7th at 12:43PM EDT (link)

I’m not sure when we got that requirement, but it has been in place for many years. That’s why I think our elections are pretty secure (although Coons bringing in Franken does make me wonder).

The left routinely stops the photo ID requirement to vote. Why? So they can promote voter fraud. Their arguments of minority disenfranchisement are hogwash. Once this election is over, every state should put forth laws to protect the vote: photo ID, weeding of voter registration rolls to eliminate the dead, secure methods for absentee ballots, and protection for the military vote. I’d be in favor of the purple finger if I thought it would save our elections.

Yeah, because making fake IDs is hard... (grin)

acat (Diary) Thursday, October 7th at 1:17PM EDT (link)

Seriously, requiring photo ID to get a ballot is a Good Start, and therefore is opposed by those who would commit fraud.

Poll workers in my area always shy away

The_Gadfly (Diary) Thursday, October 7th at 1:29PM EDT (link)

when I hand them my license to make it easier for them to look me up. By law they aren’t allowed to ask for it.

Having now worked at the poll during a primary, I also have a new appreciation for some of the ways in which elections can be stolen or information compromised. Computers, provisional ballots, sheets of paper that are theoretically supposed to match the number of ballots on the machines but almost never do but which can constitute the basis of a lawsuit challenging the vote count… Wow. Good thing I live in The People’s Republican of Maryland where the vote count is already so lopsided they don’t HAVE to try to steal the election. I was particularly bemused by the “randomizing” routine for the voting machines. Apparently if fewer than 15 ballots were cast on a machine, it wouldn’t randomize the results. If someone with bad intentions got hold of the system, they could match the ballot number with the votes cast, then use a different list to connect the ballot number to an individual name. Shouldn’t be an issue in the general, but for a primary it caused the election judges some concerns.

I do have to credit one resident alien with choosing the correct course of action while I was there. Apparently he/she had been told it was important to vote and they came in. Since they weren’t on the rolls they were provided with a provisional ballot. When they got to the part about being a US citizen on the form, they told the judges they weren’t naturalized and the judge destroyed the ballot. Of course, it also illustrates the problems with not requiring photo ids and the egregious nature of some of the leftist voter outreach programs. That person should never have been encouraged to attempt to vote until after he/she becomes a citizen. Given their behavior at the poll, I will welcome this person if they do choose to become a citizen. They have already displayed a better sense of morality than the citizens who sent them to the poll.

Strangley enough, in FL..

uselogic Thursday, October 7th at 4:50PM EDT (link)

…. or at least in Central Florida, they ask for ID and actually look at it. I’m surprised we still do that. With all the Civil Rights Commission’s mucking around in FL since 2000, you’d think we’d have been forced to do “don’t ask, don’t tell” with ID’s.

Yep, Central Florida, it's "Show me your ID" at the polls

How is the Whitman controversy fake ?

Have you ever hired someone to paint your house, clean your house, mow your lawn? Do you check their ID? Oh, and you’ve never paid cash, have you?

If, in fact, you did hire someone part time, which is what Whitman’s housekeeper was, you should probably do an I-9 check….But, seriously, are you going to go to a computer company to run a housekeeper through the ringer?

Are you just a hypocrite, or freakin’ nuts?

CA Proposition 27 Reveals Democrats, Unions, and Soros Connections

soquelbythecreek Thursday, October 7th at 2:05PM EDT (link)

Look no further than California’s Proposition 27 to see how the unions, the Democratic Party, and big-money special interests like George Soros help keep California’s politicians-for-hire in office.

Proposition 27 Revealed!
http://soquelbythecreek.blogspot.com/2010/09/proposition-27-revealed.html

George Soros and at least three other well-connected billionaires are funding Proposition 27.

Various affiliates of the AFL-CIO, including AFSCME and AFT are funding Proposition 27. They have also paid the politicians involved over $3 million in campaign contributions.

Many of the Congress Members involved are members of the far-Left Congressional Progressive Caucus.

Californians: VOTE NO ON PROPOSITION 27!

@SoquelCreek

Vote YES on Prop. 27

IJB Thursday, October 7th at 2:17PM EDT (link)

The responsibility for drawing district lines properly belongs with the Legislature, not some phantom “citizens commission” with *zero* accountability to the public that I’m nearly certain will be stacked with AFSCME and SIEU drones who will likely eliminate all the GOP districts in CA by redistricting them out of existence.

(My guess is that AFSCME is funding the ‘Yes’ campaign on this one, just to cover their bases. And it’s not like they’re paying for advertising, which shows they’re not really committed to defeating 27.

P.S. There’s no such thing as a “non-partisan” commission – it’s a fantasy.

Citizens Redistricting Commission Isn't Perfect, but ...

soquelbythecreek Thursday, October 7th at 3:28PM EDT (link)

Using the old method, the deck was already stacked with AFSCME and SEIU drones. The unions are heavily funding the campaigns of the Congress Members that are also funding Prop 27.
http://www.editgrid.com/user/soquel_by_the_creek/proposition_27_congress_union_contributions

I don’t think that the Citizens Redistricting Commission process is perfect, but it’s a major step forward from the corruption of the 2001 redistricting process. Strangely, ONLY ONE major party is mounting a major effort to defeat it.

Read the following quote from Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez regarding the 2001 redistricting process.

Read about how Congressman Howard Berman’s brother Michael was involved in the 2001 redistricting process that helped draw Berman’s Gerrymandered and protected district.

raginpatriot (Diary) Thursday, October 7th at 2:46PM EDT (link)

This would explain the otherwise seemingly delusional comments by Pelosi, Hoyer and Biden about the Demo-socialists holding Congress.

With the polls so against them, I found it hard to believe that even they would think that normally expected political happy talk of confidence would be received with anything but laughter.

Nobody’s laughing. What do they know that we don’t know?

Does anyone believe that the Chicago crowd occupying the White House, the Congressional crowd that rammed-through Obamacare by hook or crook, and SEIU-ACORN would have any qualms whatsoever about stealing elections on a nationwide basis?

Three points about stealing the election

civil truth (Diary) Thursday, October 7th at 2:57PM EDT (link)

1) This has been going on for a long time to set up the mechanism in each state – that’s 50 campaigns. Not to mention the multi-year SOS project

2) Lots of sub terra money here – probably for Soros and his buddies

3) The loosening of ballot security across the country over the last decade of so has opened the floodgates. Question is whether this has also been a long-term campaign, or legislators not thinking about the consequences

Which means that reversing this is also going to take many years, which we may not have time for. In some ways our voting system is becoming the worse voting system in the world.

The greatest evil…is conceived and ordered (moved, seconded, carried, and minuted) in clean, carpeted, warmed, and well-lighted offices, by quiet men with white collars and cut fingernails and smooth-shaven cheeks who do not need to raise their voice. Hence, naturally enough, my symbol for Hell is something like the bureaucracy of a police state or the offices of a thoroughly nasty business concern. -C.S. Lewis
